More than 8,000 in St. Lawrence County without power; National Grid giving out dry ice and water

As of 8 p.m. Wednesday, 5,799 National Grid customers in St. Lawrence County remained without power following Tuesday’s storm that brought winds topping 60 mph and wet, heavy snow.
