Most Ohio K-12 schools do not have to meet the state’s usual “minimum hours of instruction” this school year — a key consideration as schools balance in-person classes, online instruction and snow days.
House Bill 164, passed in June, got attention for provisions about school funding, state testing and student religious expression rights, but it also set rules for schools’ “remote learning plans.”
