New Haven mayor: More snow coming, move your car

NEW HAVEN — With a winter storm projected to drop as much as seven inches of snow on Connecticut Sunday, the city of New Haven is telling residents to move their cars.
Mayor Justin Elicker’s office announced a citywide parking ban will go into effect from 11 p.m. Saturday through 3 p.m. Monday.
“Three main zones for parking will be affected by a parking ban: downtown, where parking will be banned on both sides of the street; snow emergency routes, where parking will be banned on both sides of the street, and residential areas, where parking will be banned only on the side of the street with odd-numbered addresses,” the mayor’s office said in a statement.
