New suburb named as first of 4000 blocks set to hit market

"There are 2000 homes part of the first application area and then more are lodged with the State Government taking it to about 4000," Mr Sondergeld said.
"There's 56 lots up for grabs this week and the land will continue to be released regularly."
The lots range from 250 to 571 square meters and are priced from $222,000.
Mr Sondergeld said the first lots would be registered in time for buyers to jump on the extended HomeBuilder scheme.
He said that would also allow for construction to be completed and residents inside by the end of the year.
 
He said release had been brought forward by two years to cope with the demand for new homes and land.
