Northampton refused to become the latest of Newcastle Falcons’ Friday night victims as they secured a vital bonus-point victory with a ten-try rout that leaves them anxiously waiting to discover if it will be enough to secure a Gallagher Premiership play-off place.This season Bristol, Exeter, Gloucester and second-placed Sale have failed to handle the Falcons on a Friday night but Northampton hammered the home side and wrapped up their bonus point by half-time with the back row of Lewis Ludlam, Juarno Augustus and the fit-again Courtney Lawes impressing.
