No action by medical board on former GovGuam psychiatrist
The Guam Board of Medical Examiners hasn't taken action against a former government of Guam psychiatrist despite criminal charges filed against him.
Board chairman Dr. Nathaniel Berg during a meeting Wednesday said he didn't feel any action by the board was needed because Dr. Abner Pasatiempo isn't currently licensed on Guam.
Last week, a local judge found probable cause for criminal charges filed against Pasatiempo by the attorney general.
The complaint against Pasatiempo involves seven counts of official misconduct and seven counts of harassment. According to court documents, he allegedly made inappropriate sexual comments to several of his patients.
