Waterloo-based Picard LLC paid EIG14T KCE IA Grimes LLC $4.8 million for property at 1101 N.E. Gateway Drive in Grimes, Polk County real estate records show. The property includes a new Kindercare day care center developed by a Michigan firm. EIG14T KC IA Grimes is managed by Reed Fenton of Troy, Mich. Construction of the 12,054-square-foot Grimes Kindercare began in July 2020. The transaction was recorded July 13.
TCP Holdings LLC, based in Des Moines, paid Curtis Development Co. $700,000 for property at 301 N.E. Trilein Drive in Ankeny, records show. The property includes a 6,000-square-foot office and retail building that was constructed in 1992. The property is valued at $535,000. The transaction was recorded July 12.
