A private investor is testing the market with a commercial campus that has been used for media and broadcasting education purposes in the heart of Sydney’s new city fringe tech precinct.
The 7-storey office and now campus at 39-47 Regent Street, Chippendale is tipped to generate prices of around $70 million, although the sales agents at JLL, IB Property and Karbon Property, declined to comment.
The building is 100 per cent occupied on a long-term lease to SAE Institute of Australia a subsidiary of Navitas, and owned by a Melbourne-based investor who bought the property for $38 million in July 2017.
