PORTLAND — Local elected officials joined statewide leaders to condemn an antisemitic sign, appearing to target two school administrators, featured at an anti-mask protest outside Brownstone Intermediate School this weekend.
A group gathered Sunday outside the school on Main Street to apparently protest the mask policy for students.
Shortly before 11:30 a.m., an individual stood alone outside the school with two signs. One read “unmask our kids,” and the other showed antisemitic imagery.
