Professor Okechukwu Marcellus Ikeanyibe, PhD teaches at the Department of Public Administration and Local Government, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a Visiting Research Fellow of the School of Public Policy, Central European University Budapest Hungary. Okechukwu has won many academic awards including the Best Honorable Mention Paper Award in the 2017 International Symposium on West African Studies (ISWAS) and 2017 International Conference on Public Administration (ICPA). In this conference, he was appointed an Academic Researcher (from 2017 to 2020) by the University of Electronic Science and Technology, China (UESTC) one of the organisers of the ISWAS and the ICPA. Okechukwu was the winner of the 2018 edition of the University of Nigeria Excellent Performance Award for Academic staff, non-professorial cadre category. He has participated in many international conferences and workshops including a two-week course on Reversing the Resource Curse, floated by the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) and the Global Policy Academy of the School of Public Policy at Central European University, Budapest Hungary in 2015. There are over 70 high ranking publications to his credit, including five books and many articles in Scopus and Clarivate Analytics indexed journals.
