One in 12 Pa. high school students attempted suicide last year; advocates want more counselors, social workers

The percentage of Pennsylvania children and youth experiencing anxiety or depression increased by a quarter over last year, according to new data from the annual Annie E. Casey Foundation report on the wellbeing of children. Local advocates say emotional health issues have been worsened by the pandemic.
