Could former Mayor Sam Adams return to City Hall as current Mayor Ted Wheeler's next chief of staff?
No, that's not a skit from the TV comedy show Portlandia, where Adams played an aide to a fictional Portland mayor played by actor Kyle McLachlan. That is one possibility after The Oregonian reported Wednesday, Jan. 6, that Wheeler is discussing a possible role for Adams in city government. Willamette Week reported on Tuesday that Kristin Dennis, Wheeler's current chief of staff, will leave the mayor's office on Feb. 3 to become Metro President Lynn Peterson's chief of staff.
