Stargazers in Devon are set for a little treat next month as a partial solar eclipse is set to be seen over the county.
The solar system phenomenon where the Moon aligns itself between Earth and the Sun, covering the latter, is set to take place on June, 10, it has been confirmed.
John Maclean, fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and astronomer who runs Exeter Observatory, said that the event will begin just after 10am and around a quarter of the star is set to be obscured.
