CUBA, NY — Maintenance work at National Grid’s Cuba substation will result in a one-hour planned power interruption, starting at about 8 a.m. Saturday.
The outage will affect approximately 1,100 customers in Cuba, National Grid spokesperson Dave Bertola said. Customers in neighboring communities should not be impacted.
An unrelated overhead line project also will begin at about 8 a.m. The work will result in a service interruption of up to five hours for about 30 customers in a Cuba subdivision.
