Police dog stabbed and killed, suspect shot during incident at Vancouver Island Tim Hortons
After a police incident at a Tim Hortons in Campbell River, a man and a police dog have died.
The BC RCMP has notified the Independent Investigations Office of British Columbia (IIO BC) of the incident near Campbell River that resulted in the death of a man and a RCMP Police Service Dog.
