Police are searching for a man who reportedly hit a seagull with a walking stick in Bristol city centre.
Five police officers attended Broadmead at around 11.30am last Wednesday (May 19) and collected an injured gull from an employee of the Menkind gift shop following a reported attack on the bird, as
Bristol Live revealed hours later.
Now Avon and Somerset police have issued a statement on the incident. The force said officers on patrol in Broadmead had been approached by a member of the public.
