President has made several contacts over the developments in palestine, in a phone call with the russian president vladimir putin, raisi warned against the continuation of the israeli war crimes in gaza. He said the war dates back to 75 years of oppression, murder, apartite and crimes against palestinians. For his part, putin stress that russia has the same view as iran on the root cause of the Current Crisis in gaza. Well iran has condemned the silence of the International Community on the israeli bloodshed in gaza. Tehran says those who are pursuing their own political agenda have closed their eyes of israeli unslaught in the bloccaded territory. It is regrettable to see those who are seeking their own goals or closing their eyes. To those realities, do they see such crimes . Do they know what is happening in gaza these days . There are some the painful images of the savage of morben of the Israeli Regime on gaza . Dont they see that . Dont these children have any rights . Do those western regimes that have provided their outmost support for israel and have made the regime part and parcel of their Foreign Policy . Im asking them, do human rights not include the innocent palestinians . Added to the. Complicity and hypocrisy of the false claimants of human rights are clear in the bloodshed happening in the goza strip these days. The spokesman added that those help the regime in its atrocities are also responsible for the crimes being committed against the palestinians. Canani said gaza is under total siege of a regime that is incapable of confronting its enemy on the battlefield and it is using all its military power against an oppressed people in a bloccaded strip of land. Well weve talked to the hamas representative in iran khalid al qadumi on the sidelines of an International Forum held in tehran on the situation in palestine, heres what he had to say. The International Community has to understand today that nothing will stop the. Palestinian people from gaining their own freedom and complete independence. This is the only occupation, colonial power left after the second world war, and it has to sease to exist. Our people, they have reiterated their sufferings to the International Community. Nobody listen, look at it, the crossing gate of rafa has still closed, the israelis are bombardiing the the only entry point for the humanitarian aid, they are threatening. Tens of hospitals of of of gaza, they are they have already bombarded three hospitals without evacuating it, the evacuation story itself is is un unimplentable, implementable, why . Because according to the international organizations, you are having thousands of those injured people, they are in emergency rooms, you have tens of patients in one in one table inside the room, no medicine, no water. No electricity, we listened, we heard from the news resources that they are going to do this, they are going to do that, they did nothing till moment, the the office of this extremist government netanyahu, they are refusing tell moment the opening of gate for the for the humanitarian and medical aid, the only thing in front of our people today is to face alone the atrocities. Of this barbaric hadomony of and offensive of of the israeli army and you can see some breaking news at the bottom of your screen from the wall street journal, us military is selecting uh nearly 2000 troops to prepare for potential deployment to support the Israeli Regime, believe it or not, to support israeli atrocities, again the americans are possibly thinking of sending 20 troops to the area to support the regime in tel aviv. Well, bosib naim, the head of political and International Relations bureau of the Hamas Resistance Movement joined us earlier. He said the Israeli Regime would pay dearly if it launched a Ground Invasion into. Gaza strap. I, i think this is part of their plan, they were, we are expecting this to happen, but what we hear from the people, i mean from the military wing that we we believe that if they try to enter gaza again, it will be the what we call it, the maqbara, i mean, they will be not only defeated but they will be buried here in the gaza strip, this is on one side, but i have to remember all people that they have tried this repeatedly along the last 15, 16 years, in 2008 they have entered ghaza partially, in 2014 they have entered ghaza partially, but after based on the very heavy resistance, based on the. Very heavy losses and based on the the crimes they have committed and the pressure developed on them because of of these criminal acts by killing more civilians, men and women destroying houses and schools and universities, they have decided to leave gaza again, i mean they have tried this three or four times in the last 15 years and they have failed and we believe that at this moment the soldier in a tank is much much weaker than a soldier in a tank 15 years ago, a soldier who have seen what happened on october 7th to his buses, and other soldiers in around gaza strip and the strength and the and the courageous behavior of our guys, of our fighters, i think. Uh they they know now what can happen with them, they might be taken captured to be to be added to lot of big highly ranked officers in the gaza strip today, as you can see the bottom of your screen, International Aid agencies are calling for vital humanitarian supplies to be allowed into the uh bes is strip, of course we know that there there is aid uh right there. At the uh gate of rafa, the rafa crossing, of course, the doors have not been open, the gate has not been open, and even again rafael crossing was bombed and targeted by the Israeli Regime again today. Meanwhile, an islamic phobic american in the us state of illinoy has stepped to death, a sixyearold muslim boy and wounded his mother in a show support for the Israeli Regimes war on the gasa strip. Im trying to start this Teddy Bear Foundation for the mom and for the little boy who didnt deserve this, he didnt, 26 times, how can anyone do that to a little boy, i cant, its heartbreaking, and again, its because its in this community, he had nothing to do with it, all because he was innocent child, he was. Was muslim, thats what happened, he was muslim, and this is what they did, this is what this monster did, fayumi, a palestinian american was stabbed 26 times by his 71 year old landlord, joseph zupa, his mother also has multiple sabons, but is expected to survive the attack that occurred on saturday, according to police and locos, the victims were targeted because because of their religion, so was now charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder, two counts of hate crime and aggravated battery with the Deadly Weapon and is set to be arranged on monday afternoon. Id like to uh welcome to individues to this part of the program and look at the situation gaza and the surrounding. Are you in a little bit more detail. Robert fantina, author and journalist out of kitchen ontario, and don debar activists and commentator out of us in new york. Thank you so much both of you for being with. With me, robert, starting it off with you, well, lets start off with the last story that i just read, because its quite unnerving, i mean, what is happening in these western countries, so instead of empathy uh for the victims uh in palestine, what we have is this uh, increased hatred now, towards people from the region, against palestinians or against muslims in general, i mean, what is going . On, and i want to know the role of the media in all of this in your perspective, the media and role in this, as the government continues to give unqualified support to the apartthide regime of israel and talks only about uh israeli victims and ignores those of the palestinians, then this is this is the kind of thing that were going to see this, these kind of hate crimes are going to continue to occur unless until people recognize that uh the people in gaza are suffering and have been suffering for 75 years and perhaps even more acutely for the past 16, that they have been killed indiscriminately during that time, they have been deprived of basic human rights, uh, the Israeli Regime with the complete complicity the United States has attempted to restrip them with their dignity, something that that they will never, they will never surrender, were seeing this this crime, this sixyearold boy stepped 26 times by uh by this man is just its its its a part with israeli savagery, its the same kind of thing uh, powerful person uh targeting much weaker vulnerable individual, the way israel, powerful nation backed by the United States uh targets the vulnerable palestinians throughout all of palestine, but particularly today uh throughout gaza, its se the uh United States government and the media have responsibility for for this, they have they have a part of this, theyre complicit in these crimes, and these crimes are going to continue until the narrative changes. Yes, indeed, well, well, don, what about this, i mean it still is quite amazing, that there can be this type of hate and this type of emotion, in the United States, i want to talk about the. Absolute control of the mainstream media, it seems on still a very large part of the American Population and in shaping their perspective, it seem, um, your take, although on the other hand, we are seeing, especially young people more and more taking to the streets, uh, denouncing the Israeli Regime, but but how do you see it, the overall effect right now on the American Population . I think youre looking a reflection of the media structure in the United States and in the west in general, which by the way, although its changed substantially, with the rise of social media, that change has been is being tampered with and tamped down significantly, so you may not see quite that difference between the generations behavior, um, you know, the the legacy media, as they call it now, um, is preaching the. Line and the official line out of israel right now, which is basically the us official line is the idea of collective responsibility on the part of the Palestinian People, the people of gaza in particular, for electing hamas, okay, thats sort of whats implied there, because thats when this uh latest round of bloccade was imposed in 2006, 2007, and so if you have the idea of collective responsibility, then you collect. Of punishment as illegal as and as aborant in ideas it may be seems to fit, and so this jewish landlord, in uh, illinois, or zionist, because his jewishness really doesnt matter, but there a zionist landlord in illinois, um, looks a palestinian is being guilty of attempt to genocide against his people, quote unquote, in israel, and and finds the child responsible, um, theres an interesting thing to note here, however, see israel is. Referred to by the Political Class in the west, particularly in the United States as the only democracy in the middle east. In fact, barack obama sitting down with netanyahu in may of 2009 a press conference, said its the only true democracy in the middle east. Well, if its a true democracy, then the government is accurate, true reflection of the will of the people, and its actions are the actions of the principle, of the people. Consequently, the genocide thats underway. The Palestinian People that the attempted genocide thats being lined up at the borders of gaza is the act of the people of israel of the israelis and consequently they before the world are subject to collective punishment and thats what should be us policy if there are any justice. Uh, its a very interesting point that you just made done. Um, robert, looking at the overall situation, i want to talk about the um, the amount that israels uh, okay, im going to, hold up second, im going to cross over to washington, that we are looking at demonstrations, i believe, outside of the. The white house as uh people have gathered there protesting the israeli uh regimes onslot on the gaza strip and of course we have been seeing very large demonstrations uh across the world we saw a large one uh in new york and in chicago um in the states and of course in london and just throughout the world more and more people are taking to the streets and denouncing. Um what is taking place uh in the gaza strip, im not sure if its a transition uh robert, im going to switch questions now that we have this, im not sure is the transition or not, your perspective, do you think that were seeing more activists on the ground, more of an awareness, because we have seen demonstrations before during earlier wars with gaza, but whats your assessment, do you see a difference this time around or not . Yes, i see growing uh, growing support for the Palestinian People and growing public support, uh, in the United States polls for last few years at least, have shown a shift, and the uh sympathy of the American Public is now more with the palestinians and with the israelis, that is being shown in congress to a limited degree, as when just few years ago no member of congress would ever oppose israel, now there are members speaking out against israel, and getting support of the Palestinian People, so were seeing these demonstrations around the world, i participated in one uh several days ago in vancouver where i was visiting, it was very well attended, were seeing young people, old people, people of all ages, people of all uh races and creeds, people are beginning to see more and more that uh israel is not the victim, israel is the perpetrator of horrendous crimes, crimes against humanity, violations of international law, the basic human rights of the people of palestine. A a daily basis, theyre seeing the savagery of the zionist entity uh, and were seeing that thats being manifest uh, in the crowds that are gathering spontaneously uh throughout throughout the world, were seeing pictures of of huge crowd in different cities around the world, uh, there is a change, but that change is not yet filtered up to government uh officials, they still uh Pay Lip Service to supporting, well they they dont Pay Lip Service, they completely support the israel regime, but in time its going to the the will of the people is going to be manifest in their governments. Unfortunately in the interrum before that happens, many many more palestinians are going to be killed and are going to suffer horrifically. Um, well don, when we look at the uh overall situation, um, with if we go back to uh last saturday, i i want your perspective. Do you think that uh uh israels reputation is being invencible uh has been damaged forever and lets talk about that unbelievable intelligence failure and and what does that do one for the regime and what does it do for the resistance now in your perspective . Well you now the uh israelis have their own brand of the american cyc. Known as exceptionalism, this is actually particular to uh, god appointing them in that role, this is the mythology, the official mythology of the israeli state, im referring to, um, the United States has seen their exceptionalism, and invincibility myths, shattered in a number of places, it happened in the rice patties in vietnam, the people of vietnam be the United States in not even fair fight um and weve seen whats happened in uh places like in syria whats happened uh we see whats happened uh now whats happening in ukraine in particular the United States essentially is fighting war against russia using ukrainians as uh hired soldiers and and theyre not even paying them very well but somebodys making a lot of money and and its clear that what after afghanistan and rock and and these other places that the United States in fact is not invincible, and that its intelligence agencies, if they are being accurately reported at the time they make their assessments, are. Actually not intelligence agencies, they are fallible, we were not greeted, american soldiers were not greeted with flowers in iraq, but with machine gun fire and bombs, um, the russian economy did not implode when we imposed when they imposed sanctions on russia, nor did irans economy implode for that matter, not that these werent or arent damaging in cuba, theyve been under sanctions since 1960, and you can see the effects of it. So the cuban people live on and their system remains intact, the israelis are learning that same lesson, and the harder they push, and the bloodier they get, the bloodier theyre going to be, and thats a lesson i think that theyre about to learn if they go into gaza, and if the United States has 2,000 soldiers on the ground when that happens, were looking a very ugly outcome, and it may uh be we may be looking at some of the first stages of the down. Not just of the euro settler apartide state known as israel, but also of the United States of america. You brought up an interesting point. Robert, what about that . I mean, how likely is what were seeing can end up having a domino effect, because as the Israeli Regime commits more and more uh atrocities uh on the ground uh from the air and and in whichever way they can right now against the Palestinian People in general, and and then. And with that being said, having continual support from the regime in london or the regime in washington, i mean, how likely is that to have rippling effect on all them . Well, unfortunately the the likelihood of this expanding to a larger war is great, and that would have a detrimental effect on these other nations that that youve mentioned, because the uh they would have to stand up and say. They support genocide, they would have to stand up and say that they are uh perfectly fine with, well arent they already robert, sorry to interrupt you, but but arent they already in reality, when we have over 2600, over 2700 palestinians whove been killed, we have a regime that is bombing even areas that it told people to go to quarters um that it told them to basically they could leave from that its also being bombed that the. Water, the electricity, the fuel, the food has been cut off from the region, and then those regimes respond by saying theyre going to send military support, i mean, what else is left, i mean arent they already guilty of basically supporting this genocide . They are, absolutely, each country uh that is supporting israel in any way, has come down on the side of genocide, the the fact that israel is publicly blockading gaza and preventing food uh and water from entering, how how much more blatant can this be . This these are crimes against humanity and they are being financed by the United States and supported by these other nations. The uh the outcome of this, the the fact that people around the world are increasingly being horrified by what theyre seeing is going to take a toll on the governments that are supporting the the Israeli Regime. This we may see governmental changes. Result of this in those governments that have votes that have some semblance of democracy such as the United States, its not a true democracy by any means, but those that do have uh some version of it in voting, theyre going to see changes in uh forthcoming elections and upcoming elections, other nations are going to see their people taken to the streets in huge numbers, if some already have, and i think one of the things we may see is uh an unraveling of the socalled Abraham Accords which have always been on popular each of the countries that have have established them, and this may be the the turning point that caused those countries to recognize that their people are not going to stand for this anymore and that uh they have to to uh resend those those terrible agreements and support the people of palestine, but dont your take on the possibility of other fronts being open, now we know that today has deal. Atory blows and has hit five israeli bases. Um, tell me your perspective, the possibility on this other front opening up and what that would mean in your perspective . Well, first of all, i think you have to consider the reality that the purpose of placing 2,00 us military personnel on the ground there uh is to act as human shields for the genocide thats being undertaken, in other words
