Members of the Royal College of Nursing have voted to re-join the International Council of Nurses, it has been announced.
Of the 9,800 members who placed a vote, 84.7% were in favour of the move, versus 15.3% who voted against. There were 812 abstentions.
"Collaboration is key, and this is just the beginning"

The decision came today at the 2021 RCN annual general meeting (AGM), which was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In 2013 members had voted to discontinue the RCN’s membership of the ICN – a federation of more than 130 national nursing associations – due to concerns over costs.
