“You might feel a little poke,” a very friendly nurse, named Allison, said before inserting a needle into my upper left arm.
No poke. No pain.
I was too squeamish to look, so it was impossible to confirm that the needle had been in some proximity to what may generously be described as a (snicker) bicep.
