Rockne News: Empathy, appreciation thrive amid coronavirus pandemic

In a holiday season like no other, one effect of the coronavirus pandemic is increased empathy and appreciation for others. We can reach out and connect with the community by donating our time or resources whenever possible. VFW donations to CASA
The Rockne VFW Post 2527 recently made a $500 donation for the holiday season to Bastrop County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). In addition, the Rockne VFW Ladies Auxiliary sponsored Christmas gifts for five children in the foster care system through CASA.
