VOICES for Scotland is continuing its series of online events as they once again host a “get together” in an open forum with members of the public to discuss campaigning for independence.
The campaigning arm of the Scottish Independence Convention, Voices for Scotland has been very active during lockdown which, as every Yes activist knows, presents many challenges when it comes to campaigning, but also provides opportunities to connect as more and more people embrace new technologies.
The latest virtual event will take place tomorrow evening. Voices told The National: “These meetings give people an excellent opportunity to get together, discuss ideas and set out actions for how we grow support for independence. With this in mind the Voices team will present updates and strategies for how we move the campaign for independence forward and listen, reflect and discuss ideas from participants on what needs to happen next to grow support. This semi-structured, open forum meeting has proven to be incredibly useful setting out campaigning priorities and utilising the collective talents of the grassroots independence movement.
