On the morning of February 22nd, The Pettis County Children's Division notified the Sedalia Police Department of a possible sexual assault that took place in January 2020 at a city park. The case was investigated, and no charges are being requested against anyone at this time.
 
Early Monday morning, Officers were requested to assist the Pettis County Sheriff's Department with a vehicle pursuit entering the City of Sedalia. Officers assisted with the vehicle pursuit by blocking major intersections and deploying stop sticks.
 
Wednesday night, Officers responded to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard, for a report of a theft in progress. When Officers responded, the suspect had already left. A report has been completed.
