The Atlanta Dream and the Minnesota Lynx both won in overtime in their last games.
The Dream (4-2) continued their hot streak with a 90-87 victory at New York last Saturday. The Lynx (1-4) got their first victory of the season when they beat visiting Connecticut 79-74 on Sunday.
The Dream and the Lynx will try to continue their momentum when they meet Friday night in the first contest of a two-game series in Minneapolis. Game 2 is Sunday night.
Courtney Williams made a 3-pointer on each of Atlanta's final two overtime possessions to tie the score and provided the winning points with 1.6 seconds left against the Liberty.
