Shapiro signs bill scheduling street drug 'tranq' as illicit narcotic

HARRISBURG — Xylazine is now formally listed as a Schedule III drug in the commonwealth after Gov. Josh Shapiro signed a western Pennsylvania lawmaker’s bill into law Wednesday.
