Some Manassas students to return to the classroom, while others must sit out
On Monday, March 15, some Manassas City teachers and students will return to in-person
hybrid learning, but not all.
The city School Board voted 4-3 to allow Career and Technical Education (CTE), school-dependent and special education students, and students in grades pre-kindergarten through 4 to return to in-person learning.
It voted against allowing grades 5 through 12 to return to school using the same model by the same margin.
In a move that should make most athletes and their families happy, the board voted unanimously
to allow spectators at sporting events.
