Some portions of Georgetown can now repopulate after mandatory evacuation orders change

Good news for some residents near the Mosquito Fire. The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office and fire officials have changed portions of Georgetown from mandatory evacuations to an evacuation warning status. Effective immediately, people living in the following areas may begin repopulation:
