Soo Locks Candy Shop: Coming May
The Sault News
SAULT STE. MARIE — Numerous communities in Michigan, including the Sault, have been awarded half a million dollars in grants aimed at supporting small local businesses to create resiliency and strengthen downtowns.
The Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Development Authority is slated to receive $25,000 from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation for a new business coming to the downtown area: Soo Locks Candy Shop at 351 Portage Ave., which will be owned by Misti Collia. Collia isn’t a stranger to the downtown area as she owns and operates Second Childhood and Adults Too at 221 Portage Ave.
