Sri Lanka: Amendments to Prevention of Terrorism Act Could Save GSP+ Status

The Sri Lankan government has proposed amendments to its controversial Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) that include measures to confer rights to people detained under the act, News First reported Jan. 28.
