'Assignment About School Violence': US Teacher Fired after Having Students Write Own Obits

A high school teacher in the US state of Florida has been fired after he assigned students to write their own obituaries ahead of an active shooter drill. Jeffrey Keene, a veteran teacher who was hired at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando in January, told a local Fox subsidiary that he was dismissed without explanation.
