TRENTON – A Wildwood bar that repeatedly violated COVID-19 restrictions won't be serving alcohol this summer, state officials said Monday.
Shamrock Beef & Ale has agreed to have its license suspended in a settlement with the state Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, according to a statement from the Attorney General's Office.
The Pacific Avenue bar won't serve alcohol from May 1 through Sept. 30.
The suspension also will apply to two neighboring venues — Castaway's Pirate Bar and Club Amnesia — owned by the business that holds the Shamrock's liquor license, the statement said.
The settlement resolves a dispute with the ABC, which previously had announced an effort to revoke the license held by the bars' operator, Tommy G's Shamrock LLC.
