Houston, April 3: A concern to global health is antibiotic resistance. Antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections were blamed for an estimated 1.3 million deaths globally in 2019 alone. Researchers at Baylor College of Medicine have been examining the mechanism that fuels antibiotic resistance at the molecular level in an effort to help find a solution to this rising issue.
