The EIE21 tech investor conference is set to take place in June with 25 Scottish firms among those pitching for up to £2 million of investment.
A further seven start-ups from further afield have also been chosen to take part in the virtual event on June 10. Among them are Transwap, a Singapore fintech in the process of setting up in Scotland, London-based fintech Bridgeweave and iLoF, a digital health specialist based in Oxford.
EIE is a year-round programme run by the University of Edinburgh’s Bayes Centre in partnership with the Data-Driven Innovation (DDI) initiative. The year-round programme is highlighted by a day of pitching to investors from around the world for seed level funding up to £2m or more.
