The Edge at Berwick: Here's what first development will look like
BERWICK, Maine -- The first sign of development is ready to begin at The Edge at Berwick, the former site of Prime Tanning, a property abandoned for many years, leaving an eyesore in the center of town.
When completed, The Edge project is planned to be a walking-friendly downtown, with restaurants, shops and 200 rental units of one- to two-bedroom apartments. Plans call for 100,000 square feet of commercial project space on the bottom floor and two to three floors for market-priced apartments.
JCS Property Management, in partnership with Great Falls Construction, released the rendering of the first building in The Edge, the development on the former 11-acre tannery site in Berwick, Maine.
