Prosecutor General of Poland
Zbigniew Ziobro ordered to initiate a criminal case over the Ryanair plane hijacking in Minsk. The Polish Prosecutor General says the Belarusian authorities might have used deception and threats to seize control over the aircraft, reports rmf.fm.
We shall remind that Polish Prime Minister
Mateusz Morawiecki called the hijacking over Minsk an act of state terrorism.
The Prosecutor General's Office of Lithuania has also launched an investigation into the Ryanair plane.
As a reminder, yesterday Lukashenka ordered to launch a military helicopter and a fighter jet to force the landing of the Ryanair plane, which was flying from Athens to Vilnius. Also Belarusian air traffic controllers reported an alleged bomb on board. The plane landed in Minsk. There was journalist Raman Pratasevich on board; he and his girlfriend were detained.
