The Prosecutor General's Office of Poland Opened Case in Connection with the Ryanair Airplane Hijacking

Zbigniew Ziobro ordered to initiate a criminal case over the Ryanair plane hijacking in Minsk. The Polish Prosecutor General says the Belarusian authorities might have used deception and threats to seize control over the aircraft, reports rmf.fm.
We shall remind that Polish Prime Minister
Mateusz Morawiecki called the hijacking over Minsk an act of state terrorism.
The Prosecutor General s Office of Lithuania has also launched an investigation into the Ryanair plane.
As a reminder, yesterday Lukashenka ordered to launch a military helicopter and a fighter jet to force the landing of the Ryanair plane, which was flying from Athens to Vilnius. Also Belarusian air traffic controllers reported an alleged bomb on board. The plane landed in Minsk. There was journalist Raman Pratasevich on board; he and his girlfriend were detained. ....

A human rights defender from Saudi Arabia, Loujain al-Hathloul was released February 10th, after five years and eight months in prison - partially suspended by two years and ten months - by the Specialized Criminal Court. She was charged with “spying with foreign parties” and “conspiring against the kingdom” for promoting women’s rights and calling for the end of the male guardianship system in Saudi Arabia.
Amnesty International’s Deputy Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Lynn Maalouf said: “
[Loujain’s] release after a harrowing ordeal in prison in Saudi Arabia lasting nearly three years is an incredible relief, but long overdue. Nothing can make up for the cruel treatment she has suffered, nor the injustice of her imprisonment. During her time in prison she was tortured and sexually harassed, held in solitary confinement and was denied access to her family for months at a time. Three Polish human rights activists have been acquitted today of charges of “offending religious beliefs” after they pasted up posters depicting the Virgin Mary with a halo in the rainbow colours of the LGBTI pride flag. 
The Polish authorities had alleged that posters the three pasted up in various public places in the city of Plock on 29 April 2019 were “offensive”, accusing the three of “publicly insulting an object of religious worship in the form of this image which offended the religious feelings of others”. ....
