ORANGE — The building at 131 West Main St. housed a furniture manufacturing company named the Bedroom Factory for roughly 40 years. That history will be fitting on Saturday, when the LaunchSpace woodworking shop inside the Orange Innovation Center hosts a community build to construct bed frames for North Quabbin children in need.
LaunchSpace, a 13,000-square-foot workshop on the Orange Innovation Center’s third floor, is hosting the event to support the Middlesex chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an Idaho-based nonprofit made up of volunteers who build, assemble and deliver bunk beds to children that need them. Saturday’s event, in Suite 342, is slated for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
