Tory MP Craig Mackinlay is 'lucky to be alive' after terrifying sepsis battle saw him placed into an induced coma with multiple organ failure

The MP for South Thanet was rushed to hospital in September and has spent the last few months in recovery. In letter written to his constituents he said that he was on the 'road to recovery'.
