And you had a great day but today oh she was I to know it is about to just get is about to get a little bit better is about to be a whole lot better because tonight we'll be talking about some think that every single one of you have experienced including myself and that's dreams and the interpretation of dreams and what they actually mean because you know in many ancient societies you know from Egypt to Greece dreaming was considered as a supernatural communication or means of Deval an intervention and messages could be interpreted by people you know and they just ascended all spiritual powers ascended upon them just through that dreams alone and you know I really want to dive into that because I know you can relate with me I'm sure you've woken up one of those Now if you had this epic dream you think what was that all about what was going on and you just you just feel different like there was a message that was supposed to come through but we don't know how to do We don't know how to you know articulate it but yet we have this you know enthusiasm to tell the 1st person that we see about this dream I want to get into it and joining me to have this conversation I have Jessica Jessica you all right I'm great thanks. So Jessica is from the spirit Cafe which is in whole green and you teach people how to you know connect with our dreams or interpret the dreams on a spiritual level yeah we do yeah we open up a spirit café twice a month every month and whole grain and we just do free dream interpretation for anybody who wants to come and me I always like to try and teach me a little bit about how to understand the dream they've just had and and even future dreams as well so how many other again sorry spirit cafes so spirit cafes there's probably between 30 and 40 spirit cafés most of them are in the U.K. But we have some in other places of the world to Canada America Kenya believe it or not oh wow OK yeah so how long have you been interpreted in dreams for I've been only about. 6 years but I've probably interpreted you know several 100 dreams in that time are very stiff are people sometimes people send me e-mails and on top of them and usually it's just sort of one on one city flying to a lot of people want to know about their dreams and what's going on yeah definitely I think you know we've we've all had dreams or Regis sort of thought well I shouldn't have eaten that so late last night and that it was sort of a nothing dream yet you know but equally I think we've all had dreams where we said to ourself there was something else about that dream that dream did not come from me you know I didn't see that yesterday I didn't that's not being anywhere in my focus at all that dream came from somewhere else and I think when you have a dream like that it's important to be able to honor that dream you know because I believe that God gives gives us dreams very deliberately because he's trying to connect with us now that all dreams are from God but I think that sometimes you get really key dreams that can help to shape the course of your life can give you strategy about your next step can talk about any warnings that are around the corner you know prepare you for things that are about to happen stuff like that I love this guys don't go anywhere do not go I've been speaking to these lovely lady for about 15 minutes a moment is blown you know and if you've had a dream recently and you know what was going on that just stick around to go anyway I will be back up to Little Mix this is back with all the. If you just joining me we're talking dream interpretation to not have Jessica with me from Spirit cafe Hello Hello you're on TALK OF HIM time to have a they all here are excited so what's all dreams OK So dreams is something that you have in the night obviously usually. Some people you can you can actually have daydreams but usually it's at night usually it's your subconscious mind is experiencing a dream. And often OK So dream can basically come from one of 3 sources that's what I would believe so a dream would come either from yourself so these are dreams typically from your soul your mind your will or your emotions these are things often that you either really really want or you really really don't want to happen and those can often make an appearance in your dream so things that you're like really afraid of things that you want more than anything else to make happen you know like somebody mentioned to me recently about the winning the lottery dream you know that would be an example of one in that category or having a dream where you know you marry the person who you have a crush on even though they're already. Married somebody else you know so but that dream is not something that God is telling you you know that he wants you to break up a marriage so that you can you know be with you because you have a crush on that's not the point of that dream the point of that dream is this is your soul saying this is what I want OK OK So that's that's a smallish dream so that's that's one of the categories the most fun type of dream to interpret our dreams that actually come from God And so those would be dreams where he's trying to give you instruction he's trying to help you he's trying to give you hope he's trying to show you maybe where dangers are those dreams are very often vibrant and in Technicolor usually in that dream it's daytime you know so it's not a dream where you're dreaming and in the dream it's night time you know usually in the daytime not always but usually. And yeah very very colorful and even if the dream contains some kind of a negative situation there is always hope so there's always some kind of a scenario where you get out of trouble or where you know you escape the plane as it's going down or something there's some kind of an escape so even a warning dream there's an escape for it OK The 3rd type of dreams which would be the bad source or dreams that would come from the devil or the enemy so those would typically be dreams where he's trying to get you to to be afraid very often has or dreams where you know people have dreams where they're being chased or where the same terrible thing just keeps happening to them or they have a dream where they just can't breathe that's a very common dream for people to have they have suffocated or trapped. Nightmares where they have where they have that happening but the point of a dream like that is basically the devil is trying to get you to be afraid because if you're afraid you're not agreeing with the truth of who God says that you actually are OK so you can still interpret a dream from any of those 3 sources so what if you don't if you're a nonbeliever if you don't believe in God like you still having the same experience when you're going you know into the subconscious realm but so how would they identify if they don't believe in God or the Devil How would they in temporal interpret that feeling all that you get out of me yeah I think it's actually really it's actually really interesting there's so many people who have dreams where like they see Jesus in a dream for example who they just see this guy in white standing in front of them and they're like Who are you and he says well I'm Jesus said and they say something to my God I believe in you and he's like well you know I'm here anyway kind of thing so. You know actually actually I think it's one of those things where you know the agnostic I think having a dream life that is open to the spiritual realm is actually perfect so you can say you know if you before you go to bed you get a pen and a piece of paper or Pad or something put it by your bed and you just say God if you're out there if you're real if you have something that you want to say to me yeah I want to receive that and just being open to it and I don't think that you you know that there's this prerequisite that you have to have all the different symbols of everything figured out to have a dream you know I think God wants to be understood yeah but how do you interpret a dream you know like you know this happened I saw this you called of like pinpoint objects that you saw because as you know dreams DA even jump and switch in Chinese but how do you then once you've written it Dad how do you then OK this is what it meant Yeah OK so it's a good question so you're right a lot of dreams have a lot of different symbols in them and those would be details in dreams but what you're looking for is the theme you're looking for the theme of the dream you're looking for that. Chord of meaning that is sort of running through it what is this about is this about you know am I feeling shame about something and if that's the case maybe I need to deal with some mistakes from the past and my you know whatever it is looking look for that sort of chord of meaning that central thing and so he said it's like when you wake up yeah that initial feeling that you feel really important right that right that was yeah I guess that feeling stays with you and I think that's why I had a ball that all this is you got I'm googling Oh what does this mean I thought it could work you know you did yeah you know yeah I remember how to dream about a pack of wolves and I was it like like a forest it was snow in OK so I was I was about I was going to this bar anyway but I was at the top of the call Paul and the wolves were just coming out of the forest OK so it was like the pub was like made by you know how to row. And then I kind of just made it through the door and then the wolves you know climb at the door and everything and that dream reoccurred so many times like what is this whole chasing thing it's a was quite a dream for me to have her you know when you wake up you feel really anxious so what is that would I interpret OK so. I would say that that dream is probably a dream from the enemy OK Most likely because he wants you to be afraid to try and to reach for the things that you believe you want to you want to go for so whether whatever that bar represents whether it's about a job or something that you're doing something that you're trying to run and get for he's trying to scare you basically so that you won't go for it right and so when if you're being chased in a dream or if you're trapped in a dream or whatever you're very often people will freeze in a dream you know that's the kind of thing there's this place of fear and what we don't want is to stay in fear yes this is the point so this is what subconscious is telling us is what God essentially is saying Yeah that's right don't live in fear don't live in fear don't don't yes like if you have a dream even if it's not from God that it's trying to provoke fear in you just don't listen to you know just don't take on board the message that is trying to give you if you have a negative dream like you're being chased and you know you're not going to be OK or something's going to get you that dream is not from God That's not God saying you're not going to be OK That's the devil saying he wants you to be afraid. Well yeah I was it was you know it's but today well many. Folks what else to do I think I think the truth is that the devil is afraid that if you and I really realize how loved we are and how treasured we are by God and how valuable we are and the difference we can make in other people's lives. You know he doesn't want us to know that he doesn't want to see that he doesn't want to be who we were created to be the whole point I have that I have that so when it when it comes to the dream world well where was it got some to I was thinking of the day like is they swell death would be like well I guess that's an interesting question I think. Yeah I don't I don't really know how to answer that I think I know that there are people that sometimes have dreams where they travel to other places in their dream and they actually you know whether or not they were actually there I don't know you know it's interesting but this whole idea that there's something else to the dream world there's something spiritual to it I believe that it's like the spiritual world is like another world that sits right on top of this one. So you're not going somewhere else you're here it's happening here it's happening right now yeah but when you look at someone that's asleep in REM law and you know it's like. You know yeah so you go you know you are going to look you can judge you know especially if they're in deep sleep you can be shaking them and then not coming but let's go somewhere they've gone somewhere you know and this is the realm that sits on top of this realm Yeah well I yeah I would just say that you know it's it's God either good giving them a dream or taking them to that place where dreams it's a mystery so could it be like the place in between death it could be it's it's a mystery to me it's a mystery I mean we're not going to know for sure until we're dead if it's exactly like dreaming our way. Oh but yeah it is this whole other world that we get to participate in and it's so exciting to dream you can get so many really valuable life lessons from listening to and honoring your dreams I love this but it's going to sell and get into it so I. So. To let let's let. Some. Illo. Let's. Of AC with heaven all it's half past 7 already a come up belief this we get into who we get in the way all we gave every day when I was I way well how I have spent about Jessica I want to talk about spiritual I would say sure in dreams Bush it's spiritual bonds and contracts OK so if you want to get married in a dream all have a child in a dream buy a house or anything like that is that specially bowling thing you know not wimpy women can't have kids old can't find a man but yet that dreaming about it does that mean it's a blockage because something spiritual is blocking them to have it in the conscious you know their presence OK So there's a few different things there that is it is it stopping you is there something spiritual stopping you from finding that I would say probably no. But if I had a dream where I and I have had dreams like this where I I got married to somebody OK I would wake up in the morning and I would say OK God You see the desires of my heart you see that you know I'd like to get married or whatever and. I don't want to make something happen that's just me making something happen I want the right person for me and you know who that is much better than I do so. I give you permission to bring that person into my life and so honoring the dream in that way you know and just saying OK God If you have somebody for me and maybe some people don't want to get married and they have a dream that they get married you know that could be God saying maybe I have somebody for you and is it up to you Gary you know do you get to decide exactly how your life goes or do you want the best case scenario for your life then loved ones come touch you in their dreams it's a really interesting question. I think it's possible anything is possible with God I know that some people who have had loved ones die have seen them in a dream I don't know if it's actually them or if God is just sort of letting you finish the unfinished business. You know maybe some. Grieved aspect of that relationship or something. But yeah people do have dreams quite often which where relatives died the question that I would ask is What was the relationship like that you had with them you know is there anything about that relationship that you need to forgive to move past are you stuck this interest the reason why I asked that question is. I was talking about grandmother in middle of the day and her husband has been he passed some years ago. And she was saying she she was in failing to good not so long ago and she was lying in bed and he visited her and then to the budget she's now he's never visited her she's never well his presence or anything since he's passed and then he suddenly into the bed and says it's not your tongue yet you know what you're talking you know to me and yes so for me it's like I think that's so beautiful if you've got someone in your life and you know you miss the whole you know you just think you know the can you communicate with people and following them in dreams I think. I would I would say that it's possible that you see people that have passed in dreams most often that will be because you really really want to see them. So that's an example of the solace stream where you're seeing somebody that you really want to see that you that you for whatever reason have been separated from but also you know there is a Biblical precedent for you know Jesus was there. With it his disciples Peter and John and he saw Moses and Elijah there and they had already died you know so it's possible that that God brings closure to things that really need closure for people and so I wouldn't like to say that it's impossible there are there's lots of stuff lots of stuff about dreams that I don't know but I think the main point is to just try and get your heart to say yes to. What God has for you OK and to be able to listen to what those messages might be you know any even if you don't know God Very well I think it's a great way to get to know him too well actually because he sees things that are around your corner that you don't see. This so I want to know the difference between civilization and how we interpret interpret dreams differently or whether it's still a side well I think different Yeah I don't really know how to answer that question because I'm not a historical expert on dreams but I do know that dreams have been interpreted by lots of cultures for thousands of years I mean a lot of people don't know this but the Bible is like one 3rd dreams and the interpretation of dreams it's basically yeah it's basically God's primary language you know if you want to get to know somebody you need to probably speak the same language as them it's difficult if you don't speak the same language and so dreams is one of his key languages and so listening to your dreams and being open to you know God if you're trying to say something to me I want to hear it in a dream it can be just so profound so again if you don't believe in God How would you ask that question I would say there's lots of things that I don't know and I think most people would say that there's lots of stuff that they don't know and there are dreams that people have that they say to themselves I know this didn't come from me yes and in that case well where did it come from then OK maybe it came from the spiritual world OK So if you're something came from the spiritual world then it must mean that there is one yeah OK and if there's a spiritual world who would the biggest one of those be right and that's who got is . So if you think of him kind of like the one who put it all together. And the one who is you know the Lord over all of that I think it's really amazing that he wants to have an individual relationship with us so if you if I had a dream and I'm going to. Die here and then obviously it's going to crack on with the dead sure so when it's time for bed. Next to me and I'm not valued I want says to the dream that I had last night sure if nothing happens do you just keep going back every not going well can you answer what do you mean here and then just you know can you have a conversation can you develop a friendship or a relationship just by going back and revisit Oh yeah you might I think it's I think it's probably one of the easiest ways to get to know God actually you know you can you can say all right so well the guy that I learned dream interpretation from his name's John Paul Jackson he's actually passed away now but he used to say that all dreams are an invitation to pray so whatever the source of that dream is whether or not it's somebody trying to scare you or whether it's just something that you want no matter what or whether or not it's a message from God The key is to find a way to respond to that dream and so if I have a dream like where you know something really awesome happens in that dream you know and let's say I get some major breakthrough in a dream I would just say OK God. Whatever you see this dream you see this big breakthrough that I've just had I gave you permission to move the things that need to be moved in my life to make this come about. Does that make sense to you and so then you're because it becomes an invitation to pray becomes then the beginning of a conversation and so often when people have a reoccurring dream this is the same dream over and over and over again it's usually because they're not listening so it's just like the messages on repeat because you're just not quite listening you know what some of the most common dreams that people have on my wall to wall yeah there's a lot of water dreams value in that flying is a great dream it's usually about your destiny and can even be about spiritual gifts things that God has put in you that he wants to teach you about water is really common as he said. People going to the toilet in dreams going to the toilet in public places is how it's a really common dream and it doesn't sound well I know it sounds so it's one of those dreams that we are embarrassed to share with people because we think we're the only ones that have had that dream or like the naked Dream OK you know where you just go to work as normal and you walk in and then you're actually totally make it and say OK Wow So all of these dreams they're broken teeth that's another rather common line going to jail and yeah yeah probably not no it's not broken teeth actually is about that there's something that something in your situation that you're not fully understanding because if you think about teeth there's a certain logic and dream so if you think about teeth like you know you could say let me chew on that like that mean think about that your wisdom teeth in your mouth it's like something about understanding moving able to process what's coming towards you so you're processing it right this so if you've got something that you know you look at in the mirror in your dream and all your teeth are broken there's something you're not processing right there something you're not understanding properly. So that's just that's another cool symbol snakes is another really common one in dreams as. Does that reflect on a person that's in your life whole. I don't know like because you know that OK So see so snakes normally that that basically if there's a snake in your dream it's basically that there is some kind of deception that's around you something that you're believing that isn't true OK so I guess that could be that there's somebody that's trying to deceive you but usually it's just you know the lies of the heart that we believe you know we can believe that we're no good you can believe that you know we're trapped or you know there's nothing I'm going to be able to do about this or that situation and so there's Or that whatever whatever the case might be so if I have a dream with a snake in it I say God can you please show me where this deception is because I don't want to believe stuff that's not really true yeah yeah. Toilet is normally about getting rid of some of the negative stuff that we've been carrying around some of the poisons of life that we're just like carrying weapons so that would typically be about God talk about him leading you into a season where you're maybe going to be forgiving some people you're going to be letting go is the most. Corrupt that you could I think that you've been holding on to you. If in Canada it's not considered a bad word so I'm going to give me. The naked dream you know it could go either way normally a naked dream is that you know you don't have any hidden agenda there's nothing about you that you're not hiding who you are obviously it could go negative if it's a really negative depends on the dream so all symbols could be positive or negative pretty much just depends so negative could be you know like perversion or something like that but I but usually if it's just like I walked into work and then I realized I was naked I would say God she's saying that he really appreciates the fact that you are the real you you show people who you really are you're not you're not you are yeah. I mean that is maybe. A right I get it right I get it but it's a journey. So number one I have dreams about unfortunately dying so I thought when he died in a dream it meant you died in real life so when I had a dream recently about and sepsis from a book by it's thought my life was over and I didn't want to be over it's the age of 21 but apparently a concert popular interpretations they suggest that dreams about death are actually linked to thoughts about change particularly for parents dreaming about the death of their children is a common dream when a child reaches significant milestones so relax dreams where you die a simply mourning a particular period rather than a person or yourself I like this it's much better than dying I would definitely not go without number 2 I've got being pregnant and if I had a dream about being pregnant I view it as a nightmare. That's my dream like crazy I know it would be awful I don't want to get pregnant but I think it's likely when I say. OK. So that's my dream psychologist say that pregnancy dreams can actually mean failure particularly for women the worried about motherhood however they can also mean something more positive creative people these dreams could mean the conception of a new idea and the want to nurture it like a child. Interesting creative person with a pregnant 3 no. No I've never dreamt of being pregnant I've dreamt of having the child already OK if that's the same thing. Maybe it qualifies you know it's kind of similar Yeah OK number 3 I've got exam dreams so Sasha Have you ever felt really unprepared for an exam and yeah I mean a lot. Apparently one in 5 people experience a dream about an exam at one point in their life this can mean a lack of confidence about the exam so if you're really really revising and believe in yourself you got it however if you're really feeling the pressure then he also pull your socks up before those batteries become a reality. See that reminded me of the night before all flew out I dreamt that I got to the airport and forgot my passport. Does it happen in real life Ali might she. You're the expert that I was I said I stress is the same thing isn't it so you stress about possible as stress about exams Yeah just make sure i Pad and I write just yeah and I would I would say also it's an indicator that maybe you're afraid yet and so if you're if you're afraid you're not in a place of peace right so OK God I want to give you this fear that my exams I want to trust you with my future even the things that I'm not able you know the things that are out of my control I'm going to do my best but I'm going to trust you ultimately and just let go of all of the stress and fear and give it to him and just get the peace on it because that's really what it's about and also prepared for a life yes. We have celebrity dreams which are very common but sickly in a world that worships the ground that famous people walk on rather than being about the dream itself the celebrity in question is the most incompetent components with them apparently reflecting what the dream A may aspire to be and a life that I had a dream recently that Carbonneau OK so maybe I was biased become Kylee in my future life for president. Spent around like calling him and I love that highly interesting I had an awakening to the spirit of Kyle in the same way that some people have an awakening in the negative thoughts in dreams when I saw it last I'm very sad of maybe Kylie's come in some way my pain maybe someone with Callie. Will come into your life you know it's hard. Maybe maybe maybe a friend a friend or colleague how it's risk of a car it's a risk I like my baby is going to my car Terry from now on. Number 5 I have dreams about fall in so I think everybody's had that dream where you wake up suddenly jumps out awake because you fall and fall and from a height or slipped on banana or something. So if you're for that in a dream maybe your brain tell me that something in your life ain't right so wake up a pause and maybe rethink the way that your life is Hadn't is the particular pattern for those that are worried about their relationships friendships or jobs so if you fall in a dream pause rethink reenergize you've got all the time the world will hear when you certainly haven't seen you look at happens in slow motion Ya know I feel like that it's almost like I'm kicking a football in like a free kick an actual body does that yeah that no I really. Do you know say it's me because you know I'm sorry it wasn't like you live on your back and both legs and arms go on the other side it's the percent it really is just one like. It's like a right angle Oh dear Yeah well if you were fast that's my about. Much in jumping up like is on the well you got that well you were it was the to think of every experience a life about you had a nightmare about probably didn't. Move you did I love this but no one likes to fall I think that I would say that's the most common dream. I've ever flown in your dreams. All the time I always forget my dreams a sense I wake up in the morning so I can't say for maybe a half you should write down I should I should but once one year is a dream and would believe. And you know what to close this anyone that's interested in interpret in dreams all you know we've said you know I wrote it down to what you've experienced in the dream on a book or in a book what else what the tips do you have Jess. I would say you know sit down with your dream and one of the things John Paul Jackson would say is you know try and fill in the blanks of your dreams so sometimes you can just like quickly jot down. A timeline and just quickly jot down just the main points of your dream and then if you take those main points and you fill it in and almost like make it like a story with lots of detail sometimes that makes it easier to understand what it's actually about that's just a little key so you can just sort of fill it in one of the things about dreams is people sometimes feel like they're not sure whether or not it was actually this person or they just thought it was this person in the dream I hear people say stuff like that all the time dreams are totally subjective dreams are not like reality so if you perceived it a certain way in a dream that's the message of your dream it's not up for debate but sometimes you can have a dream like Oh my I've got to call it I know what I must tell you. And you just like set yourself on this mission like you know you don't listen to dreams but they send you dreams but don't act on them stright what's in the let's do a little that was missing a little bit in the time I like to pray about my dreams so I like to take my dream and I like to I like to sit down with it and I like to say OK what is there in in this that maybe I need to do something about if anything and you know what do I need to give God permission to do in my life or whatever the case might be with the dream but ultimately yeah you do make decisions based on dreams but it's meant to be like a confirmation of something you're probably already feeling anyway.
