That Security Breach and another on saturday with a new jersey man arrested after driving up to a security barrier. Cnns erin mcpike has more from the white house. Reporter john, christine, secret service beefed up the patrols and surveillance around the white house while reviewing the friday breach and check other protocols. We could see a congressional hearing on this because a number of republicans have been appalled. Listen to how peter king put it yesterday on fox news. There can be a lot of conspiracies against the president and complex assassination plots. They have been side tracked for months. A u. S. Proposal on the centrifuges to enrich uranium. Yeah, but when i slipped a disk he paid my claim in just four days. Ahh four days . Yep. Find out how fast aflac can pay you, at aflac. Com. But ive managed. E Crohns Disease is tough, except that managing my symptoms was all i was doing. And when i finally told my doctor, he said humira is for adults like me who have tried other medications but still experience the symptoms of moderate to severe Crohns Disease. And that in clinical studies, the majority of patients on humira saw significant symptom relief. And many achieved remission. Humira can lower your ability to fight infections, including tuberculosis. Serious, sometimes fatal infections and cancers, including lymphoma, have happened; as have blood, liver, and nervous system problems, serious allergic reactions, and new or worsening heart failure. Before treatment, get tested for tb. Tell your doctor if youve been to areas where certain fungal infections are common, and if youve had tb, hepatitis b, are prone to infections, or have flulike symptoms or sores. Dont start humira if you have an infection. Ask your gastroenterologist about humira. With humira, remission is possible. That are acidic. We all have risk of acid erosion. Theres only so much enamel, and Everybody Needs to do something about it now if they want to preserve their teeth. I recommend pronamel. It helps strengthen the tooth and makes it more resistant to acid breakdown. A second contingent of u. S. Troops arrived in liberia to focus on training local Health Workers and setting up Treatment Facilities to help stop the deadly virus from spreading more. 6 million worth of medical supplies donated from hum humanitarian groups have been received. Medical help in liberia is so scarce, people are drying from treatable conditions. Ebola has taken more than 2,600 lives. The senior medical correspondent liz cohen is joining us live from liberia. This is an unprecedented Health Crisis. You are there on the frontlines. What do you see . Reporter john, i was talking to a diplomat here who called it a nightmare. When you are here, you can see what they mean. It has gotten so bad, that managing the dead is a challenge. I went out with the dead body management team. The men work 12 hours a day, six days a week, to take the dead and bury or most cases, they cremate the bodies. You also see the real burden here and challenge which is the reason why this is happening. They dont have enough isolation units for people who are sick. You have to isolate sick people. A basic premise of containing this outbreak. They need 700 more beds in monrovia alone. Many hospitals are locked and many are closing down. They are scared of the staff getting ebola because many of them already have. John. President obama has pledged to send some 3,000 u. S. Troops and set up facilities that will be many more hospital beds. How will that change things . Reporter you know, the liberians i talked to here are grateful for the aid, but they are realistic. One of the things the americans will be doing is building 17 muchneeded hospitals with 100 beds each. First of all, it will take time to build the hospitals. It doesnt happen automatically. The u. S. Is not sending staff for the hospitals. Now the u. S. Is promising to train liberians, but how do you instantly train doctors or nurses or do you train lay people. There are a lot of unanswered questions. One of the issues in that region has been disbelief or unwillingness to believe many people are in denial of ebola and people trying to help. Have you seen signs of that changing . Reporter you know, it is interesting, in some areas, of course, that is happening. It is happening here. I have been talking to folks, including a pastor at a church in liberias city. He said my parishioners were in denial. We are setting up washrooms. It is interesting, in august, he said i know we all use to drink from one common chalice, but no more. He said this is part of our tradition and religion. He is starting to see a change in attitude and what everyone here agrees, john, a change in attitude needs to be the first step. You can get millions of dollars and still if people dont change attitudes, it will not help. A necessary step. Liz cohen on the frontlines. Thank you for being with us. The fight to stop ebola is under funded. The World Health Organization estimates a need for 1 billion to fight the outbreak. So far 388 million has been pledged or donated. The u. S. Pledges to donate 5 million more this year. Many are sending workers and conducting research instead of giving cash. 15 minutes past the hour. Time for the early start on your money.
