Whose took issue with paul ryans new move. And what he just tweeted oemts ago from about john mccain. Saying the very foulmouthed senator john mccain begged for my support during his primary. I gave, he won, then dropped me over locker room remarks. Locker room remarks, leaving to that access hollywood tape. We have cnn correspondent john acosta joining us. What do you think that means . Taking the shackles off . I talk to someone saying the shackles were off along along and this person didnt understand what donald trump was talking about. In the last several minutes went after john mccain in response to john mccain talking during a debate in arizona saying he can no longer vote for donald trump. Probably going to write in lindsey graham, but people in paul ryans orbit right now are obviously very upset about Donald Trumps comments but theyre not going to engage or respond in kind. Put the statement up onscreen from brendan buck, top aide for the House Speaker who says, paul ryan is focusing the next month on defeating democrats and all republicans running for office should probably do the same. Thats the extent of that. If you talk to his political spokesman, zach roada, basically saying the same thing. Not trading insult for insult with donald trump at this point. Seems like republicans are aware they could very well lose the senate and now are making sure they have a big majority in the house and want to keep it. New jersey governor Chris Christie, someone who backs up donald trump, but we havent heard a lot from him especially about these comments from 2005. Whats going on there . He was supposed to be at the debate sunday night. All of a sudden we were surprised with the news he was not going to be there, and keep in mind, brianna, this is after Chris Christie almost took over a debate prep heading into sundays debate. Was supposed to be the town hall expert and guru and we told by the Trump Campaign hed watch the debate from home. And then earlier this morning, Chris Christie, the new jersey governor, was on wfan radio in the new york city market, and he had this to say. Hes Still Standing by donald trump, but listen to how he couches it in terms of his support at this point. I had issues to deal with in new jersey and decided not to go to the debate, but on the video itself, lets be really clear. It is completely indefensible, and i wont defend itened a havent defended it. Ive known him for a long time and im im really upset by what i heard, but in the end, this elections is about bigger issues than just that, and so at this point i still support him, and you know, but certainly you take time to think about that when going through this. So there you can see the new jersey governor is basically saying hes sticking by donald trump, but he is just as concerned and upset about these comments as everybody else. Talking to a person who worked with paul ryan for a long time about all of this, none of this is surprising. This person was saying that all along the fear has been inside at least the establishment of the Republican Party that donald trump was on an ego trip and that it was going to be a damaging ego trip for the rest of the party. The question is, are we now watching the splitting of the Republican Party right before our eyes just four weeks before the election . It seems like paul ryan obviously is wearing two hats. When in house leadership when youre the speaker of the house youre in charge of something beyond your district. So it seems from what ive been hearing, privately, if it were just paul ryan thinking about paul ryan, this is kind of something he would have wanted to do a long time ago and maybe wouldnt have even endorsed donald trump. But it sounds like he for a while has been trying to think of what the best thing is to maintain that house majority. Yeah. And thats really now that that is sort of a line maybe more with his private feelings, thats whats going on. I agree with you. You work and capitol hill many years and i remember before the last state of the union speech, invited into his office with other reporters. Paul ryan said at that point, donald trump is expanding the Republican Party. Look at the people hes bringing in, excitement hes generating. I think paul ryan was torn, obviously, donald trump was an unconventional candidate during primaries but winning these primaries fair and square. And so i think paul ryan even though it took him away to get there, he came to the conclusion, listen, he needs to support the republican nominee. But it didnt take much for paul ryan to pull back from donald trump. I think all of this was always contingent on, can donald trump behave himself all the way to the election . And now were getting that answer from paul ryan. Brianna, you know, they are now very concerned about keeping the majority in the house, the senate, a lot of Republican People feel like could be lost at this point. When donald trump goes up by this kind of lead in the national polling, hes starting to cross that threshold when both houses of congress could be at stake. And worried about the brand. Worried about the brand. Absolutely. Jim acosta, senior White House Correspondent. Thank you for that. Youre welcome. We are four weeks and counting now until election day. If the last few days are any indication, the next four weeks will be a battle like we have never seen in a president ial election. Joining me now from west babylon, new york, congressman steve israel, a democrat from new york. Hes a Hillary Clinton supporter. And first, i wonder what you think about donald trump threatening to unleash more personal attacks if there are anymore tapes released, like the one on friday . I mean where do you think one, do you think there are going to be more tapes released . Is that your expectation . And how worried might Hillary Clinton be about what i think it was clear sort of an unsettling experience during the debate on sunday. Well, brianna, donald trump said that the shackles are off, but its sounding more people believe the straight jacket should be on. This guy needs to expand his electorate. He continues to obsess over his base. I get that, but at certainly mind to expand his electorate. You cannot do that by continuing these vicious personal attacks. People want to know if theyre not decided yet, they want to know, what are you going to do to create jobs . To build infrastructure . What are you going to do to keep me safe . What about my college debt . The more you talk about these vicious attacks and try and become president by being the insulter in chief, the more your electorate shrinks. Thats why paul ryan has already basically conceded the president ial election and is worried about the survival of lis own majority in the house of representatives. As he deals with what is a terrible story line for his campaign and really rocking his party, Hillary Clinton has a bad story line of her own and that is these emails, these hacked emails that appear to be from john podestos email account. One of the latest weve seen la to do with the campaign communicating with the Justice Department. About the releasing schedule of emails. I mean, that seems like seems a little untoward at the very least that there was a communication between a campaign and between a Justice Department that is supposed to be independent. Well, brianna, in all fairness, the russians have hacked emails. The russians decided that if they could, they would endorse donald trump. They cant endorse donald trump. They are trying to influence this election. Congressman, im going to stop you there, because you dont give them credibility. If they were fake you dont think the campaign would say they were fake . Youre questioning the voracity of emails . I think we have a responsibility to understand all of these i maleemails, to appreciate the fact these emails are hacked. Songman, thcongressman. I want to see it before i comment on it. Isnt that sort of cynical for there to be this no. Let me finish. Isnt it somewhat cynical for democrats supporting Hillary Clinton to sort of throw out there that perhaps these emails are not accurate . When we know that if they were inaccurate they would be telling us they were fake. They would be telling us that they were edited, to sort of look, i get it. These are emails that were hacked but still emails that exist. We can still read them and they are what they are. They tell us things. Isnt it inappropriate that there was this communication between the Clinton Campaign and the Justice Department . Given the fact that the russians have hacked into these systems, the deep ccc, the dnc, had a history of doctoring these facilities to influence elections. I dont judge until i understand are these emails authentic . Im not commenting on these specific emails until i understand its veracity. Should a campaign communicate with an independent Justice Department about a candidate doing something investigated by the fbi . Brianna, with all due respect, i dont know the context. Im very suspicious of these emails and would counsel the American People, its not a Campaign Email versus email. Its about fitness to serve. You know the contents. She was you know the context, her practices looked at by the federal government. You know that context. You know that. Should a campaign be in touch with an independent Justice Department over that . And you do know the context. You know the sort of specifics of what was going on there. Again, brianna, without understanding the full context, without having that Information Available to me, im not going to make a judgment. This campaign, the next several weeks, is about who is fit and who is ready to be president of the United States . And if you contrast what donald trump has said and what he does, and what Hillary Clinton has said, her specific solutions to rebuild infrastructure, reduce college debt, improve the economy, theres really no comparison. All right. Congressman stephen israel, thank you so much for joining us. Backing up your candidate big time there. Hillary clinton supporter talking to us. Coming up, is this ugly president ial race about to get even uglier . Donald trump is promising to retaliate against the clinton if more damaging videos of him surface, and attacking members of his own party. One of trumps advisers dr. Ben carson is going to join us, right after this break. You both have a perfect driving record. Until one of you clips a food truck. Then your rates go through the roof. Perfect. Trump saying hes free to run his campaign the way he sees fit. He tweeted this, he said it is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and i can now fight for america the way i want to. Paul ryan saying publicly, done defending donald trump and would focus instead on house races instead of the president s race. There are those, some prominent republicans Still Standing behind donald trump. Trumps former opponent ben carson one of those people, adviser to donald trump joining me now from florida, and im i know youve seen the tweets. I want to get your reaction to what hes saying. Hes attacking paul ryan. Do you they is smart . Its probably not what i would be concentrating on right now. You know, the place where donald trump is going to win this election is on the issues. Youre not going to win the issue on attacking people or getting into fights, quite frankly. Particularly when the media is not on your side. So why even go there . Why not concentrate on what two out of three americans are concerned about, and that is the direction of our country. Thats one that he can win easily. Why doesnt he address the the tape more, or point a finger at sort of his own behavior of this tape that came out 11 years ago that shows him basically talking about sexually assaulting a woman. I mean, why doesnt he instead atone noor instead of lashing out at everyone, including his own party . Well, you know, he has apologized for that. Im not sure that you can give a good enough apology for, you know, those abominable words. There just is no excuse for it. You have to apologize for it, and move on. What im hoping is that everybody can recognize that right now the United States is like a locomotive thats heading off the cliff. And the engineer has to decide, youre going to try to stop that train, or are you going to go deal with the fight in the coach car . You know . Why not stop the train, and then lets deal with the fight in the coach car. Because you know, you look at the national debt. You look at our immigration crisis. You look at the terrorist attacks. You look at education. You look at health care and how its spiraling our control. You know, these are these are things that are so important, and the two parties are diametrically opposed in a way they want to solve those. The American People have the right to hear what those diametrically opposed opinions are to make an intelligent choice. Sounds like you are saying when talking about this train that is sort of barreling down the tracks, for you that is what you would see as a president obama third term, someone whos going to, you know, sort of take the has nothing to do with president obama. Well, im sorry. Nothing to do with president obama. Let me it what do did with the direction of our country which is been going on for the last several decades. Okay. And that you feel that Hillary Clinton is just going to continue to take something in the wrong direction, is what im hearing you say, and you seem to be describing this fight back in a car of the train . No, no. Is that donald trump . No. What im saying what im saying is, look at the platforms of the democrat. Look at the platforms of the republicans. Listen to the policies of donald trump. Listen to the policies of Hillary Clinton. But lets concentrate on those things so that we can make an intelligent decision as a nation, as to which direction we want to go. So what is the fight going on in the coach car . Is that donald trump . Is that sort of what you see as an issue that doesnt deserve as much attention as the policies . Well, the fight going on is looking at all of this subterfuge. All of these things that im not saying theyre not important. But stopping that fight or dealing with that fight is not going to stop the train from going over the cliff. But how is donald trump saying that you need to grab a woman by her genitalia in that tape coming out subterfuge . Because you can talk about that until youre blue in the face. It is not helping the electorate understand what the policies of the republicans and the democrats are. What their platforms are and which direction they want the country to go in. Right now, that is a critical issue, and it needs to be dealt with. So anything that detracts from you being able to put that information out there and im hoping that that your industry, the news industry, will actually become very mature and say, look, were just not going to deal with all of this peripheral issues. We are going to hold your feet to the fire. You should tell that to donald trump. You should tell that to Hillary Clinton. Were not going to listen to all of this garbage. We want to know whats going on. We want the people to know. Thats why thats why the press is the only Business Protected by the constitution. Theyre supposed to do that for the people so that the people can make an intelligent decision. This country is supposed to be run by the will of the people. Not by the political establishment. He said these things, and thats why were talking about them, and i want to talk to you about a way that you characterized this. You described this as a locker room talk and youve said that donald trump was someone else 11 years ago, wasnt in the political sphere. You were not in the political sphere 11 years ago. Are you a terriblydif persferen person than 11 years ago . 11 years ago hes a billionaire playboy. Now running for president of the United States. That means youre out there among the people. Youre listening to their concerns. Theres a certain gravitas attributed to you because you begin to understand these things that you werent even concerned about before. It makes a difference. But hes talked even as a president ial candidate about physical appearance let me just say let me just say this it doesnt excuse the words. It doesnt excuse what was done. I think its abominable. I dont think theres any way that you can justify it, and i dont hear anybody trying to justify it. But but lets move on. Why did you call it locker room talk . Call it whatever you need to call it to make it feel good to you. But the fact of the matter is, i mean, ive been in lots of places i mean, dr. Carson dr. Carson, theres not a lot. Tales of sexual conquest. You said say whatever you need to say to make it feel good to you or to the viewer. Thats not the viewers job. To characterize this to make it feel good for them. This is what it is. Why did you call it locker room talk . Dont mischaracterize, if you mind. Dont mischaracterize what im saying. What i am saying is that, that kind of banter goes around all the time. Is it the right kind of thing to do . Absolutely not. So you hear youve heard people talking like this . Absolutely not ive heard people talking like that of course. Are you kidding me . Where are you hangsing out and with whom are you hanging out that you hear people talking like that . As i was growing up, people were always trying to talk about their sexual conquest, and trying to make themselves appear, you know, like the don casanova. Im surprised you havent heard that. I really am. I havent heard it and i know a lot of people who have not heard it. And i maybe thats the problem. Maybe thats the problem. You know people the problem is that i havent maybe maybe thats the problem. But whether theyve heard it or not, the issue is the train thats going off the cliff. We can come back after we save the country, amp we keep the train from going off the cliff, and i would welcome, quite frankly, a discussion of morality in this country. I think it would be a wonderful thing if wed bring back our judeochristian values once again. I think it could do nothing but help us. I would be all in favor of that. I think this may have pror t prompted a conversation about some values and dr. Carson we appreciate you participating in it. Dr. Carson supporting donald trump and speaking with us today. In less than two hours, Hillary Clinton and former Vice President al gore will be taking the stage also in florida. Theyll be in miami. And then later president obama hits the trail again in support of Hillary Clinton. Cnn White House Correspondent Michelle Kaczynski is live in greensboro, North Carolina and michelle, tell us what are we expecting from president obama, and do we think as he has before, that hell be going after donald trump . Reporter i think he absolutely will. Its just, it depends how he does it. Will it be an oblique taeg . Will he reference those words we heard from the tape again . When you look what he said sunday. He did reference the tape pap short reference. The president doesnt like to get too much into the fray. But you look at the words he used. He called it disturbing. Unbelievable. He said, donald trump is insecure and likes to pump himself up by putting other people down. He said hes careless about basic values and the civility and respect that a democracy requires. He also said he didnt want to repeat any of those words that he heard on the tape, because there were children present. I think something similar to that. The president knows when he comes to a place like this, North Carolina, the polls are so close. One yesterday showed Hillary Clinton leading but only by three percentage points, if that. Its close by a hair. But the president knows hes preaching to the choir. Remember, the white house still sees the president s primary goal not to change minds necessarily about donald trump, but to persuade people to actually get out there and vote, brianna. All right. He keeping trying there in North Carolina. Michelle kaczynski, youre following that story for us. Thanks. 62 million is how many girls around the world are not in school. At sundays president ial debate amid the sniping and bickering between the two candidates, there were moments where actual policy was discussed. You might have missed them in you blinked. One of those moment was on ta s taxes. I will tell you, Hillary Clinton is raising your taxes. You can look at me. Shes raising your taxes really high, and what thats going to do is a disaster for the country. Now, heres what i want to do. I have said nobody who makes less than 250,000 a year, and thats the vast majority of americans as you know will have their taxes raised, because i think weve got to go where the money is. Well, while clinton and trump have more specifics on their tax plans and Cristina Alesci is here to walk us through this. Give us the main points, what we need to know, the main point is, when trump was talking he was talking to the wealthy for the most part. About increasing the taxes. If youre voting with your pocketbook, pay close attention to this, because the two plans are very different. Clintons plan is more complex and trumps is more simple, but it leaves many questions unanswered. Look, very high level here, trump will cut taxes for everyone. But the disproportionate benefit will accrue to the wealthy and clintons plan will cut taxes a little for low to midincome american, probably not that much, but the wealthy will get hit with the bulk of her increases. Now, on Corporate Taxes, trump will cut the Corporate Tax rate to 15 . Clinton doesnt touch it, but will try and close those loopholes, Like Companies keeping cash offshore. Lets take a close are look at the numbers. With trump, the averages tax cut about 2,900. Youve got to figure the ranges here. The extremes. The highest income earners will get a 1. 1 Million Dollar reduction in their tax bill. Under clintons plan, the highest earners there see an increase by 800,000. What is the collective impact of all of this brianna . Trumps proposal would reduce tax revenue by 6. 2 trillion dollars over ten years. Clinton would raise it by 1. 4 trillion. Now, trumps team is taking issue with some of these estimates. Especially the revenue estimate we just showed you saying it doesnt count the economic benefit that Companies Instead of paying tax will save that money, spend it on hiring more people, making investments, but critics say, look, when you raise debt, when you reduce revenue like that, youre probably going to raise debt and Interest Rates will rise, and problemably negate the positive impacts you just talked about. Bottom line, its really hard to see how trumps plan would help the average person day one, brianna. Okay. And then what about say, him . She a wealthy person. You talked about how the wealthy will benefit from this. So if he was looking at his own tax bill, you know, how do we think that would sort of what would that look like under his plan . Yeah. An excellent question. Talking about that billion dollar loss that the New York Times broke, you know, for the past week and a half. Talking about his ability to take losses, to offset future income, or other benefits, Real Estate Developers get, there doesnt seem to be anything in his plan for limit or restrict his ability to do that. Trumps plan, though, here are the thing it does benefit him in one very big way. Eliminates the estate tax. So he could pass his wealth to his children without them getting hit with a big tax bill. Clintons plan leaves the estate tax in place, and she wants to expand it so that it hits more wealthy people. So yeah. There is a big diverge, on that front and people get very upset about the estate tax, because they think, oh, ive worked all of this time, and my kids are going to get taxed on all of this hardearned income. The reality is, only. 02 of people pay the estate tax, paid the estate tax last year. It only hits the very wealthy, brianna. Good point. Thank you for that report. Coming up, well talk about down ticket destruction. Is that going to happen . Paul ryan is racing to save republican majorities in the house, and the senate, while trump taunts him on twitter. Donald trump says the shackles are off and hes free to campaign the way he wants to. What does that mean in the home stretch from the president ial campaign has gotten pretty down and dirty . Lets talk about it. Gloria borger, ryan lizza and mateo gold. Okay. Donald trump is saying that hes one, unshackled and going to do things the way he wants to and also putting the Clinton Campaign, seems like, on notice. Saying if more tapes go out hell go after them in basically a nastier way. Wheres this headed . I think hes a candidate who doesnt know where to attack first. Right . He spent the entire morning tweeting about paul ryan and john mccain. Let me remind you, are republicans. Rather than Hillary Clinton. It might be it might be more lucrative for him if he were going to actually campaign against his political opponent. Then he raises the specter of more tapes, and im going to get even worse if there are more tapes. I mean, this sounds like somebody hoop just sort of up against the wall, and punching anywhere, indiscriminately, because he knows hes hes on the ropes here. And if he were to be president , he would want a republican congress. You think . So why is he hitting an endangered republican senator . Because i think he takes things personally and he cant not, you know, fight back when he feels offended, but there just seems to be no for a brief period, from midaugust until shortly before the first debate, there seemed to be a strategy on the Trump Campaign. They seemed to recognize that identify demographics he needed to do well with, and seemed to have a message that would appeal to those demographics. Basically, politic 101. Basically College Educated whites. Hit romneys number among College Educated whites, he had a chance to win this race. A game plan. All has gone out the window since the last two debates. This idea unshackled and trump being trump means he going back, playing to the same 40 hed had in the country and no longer a campaign about addition. And so clear, as you say, really just speaking to his base. Something that theres a sort of amplification effect we see that his information that hes getting, that hes using to process this strategy are the people at his rallies. The screaming fans. All signs that tell him hes on the right track, and you know, my colleague bob acosta reported sitting in trump tower with steve bannon, tweetings in a bubble surrounded by people reinforcing what he should be doing, and why republican strategists are worried and anxious because she not helping the rest of the ticket. There is an article in the washington journal poll giving a lot of republicans pause thinking about separating from donald trump. That is, twothirds of registered republicans believe that republican candidates should continue to support donald trump. So what theyre trying to do is not anger the base of the party. Thats who that number represents. While attracting these higher educated white voters, particularly College Educated women that they would like to get, and so theyre trying to figure out how to do this, and its not easy. The more angry trump gets. Isnt he working against that, mateo . Look at if paul ryan by just saying, having a call and saying were going to focus on the he could come out and say im outraged, denounce him. He didnt to that. Right . Sort of saying, look, we have to focus on the down ballot races and is teams maybe thrown in the towel on a donald trump presidency, but if hes sort of if donald trump is hitting him, the base is against paul ryan and sort of splitting, seems, this electorate. This is a schism that is really perilous for the party postelection. Several strategists posted, similar to trump once he goes away. He almost cant win on either side now. Hes getting blamed for continuing to endorse him and for not supporting him on the trail. This is not going aaway. The base going away. The issued tapped into, none goes away. A media infrastructure supports trump if not trumpism and this fight goes on. Its a nasty divorce. A really nasty divorce, and its going to continue to be litigated one way or another after this election. I mean, when you step back and you think what we are looking at. We are looking at a partys president ial nominee in a major fight with the speaker of the house, and leading republicans, i think a third of republicans in the senate now have shgoodbye to him. This is going to continue. Theyll be some i think some Common Ground among the establishment and the trump wing after the election. If Hillary Clinton is the president. Sure. There will be, you know, a common enemy and they will fight her together. So i want to ask you guys about something that dr. Ben carson said. Trying to get the sound ready. I dont think we have it. Ill paraphrase or quote him, actuallys he said he basically said what donald trump said in that tape was locker room talk. I questioned, was surprised id never heard Something Like that. He said maybe thats the problem. Yeah. Which i the problem . The problem youre not spending enough time perhaps i am naive. I was on the Boys Golf Team in high school and never heard talk like this. Quite a lot of talk, but nothing certainly that even drifted into that kind of territory. When you hear his surrogates making this defense, mateo, these kinds of defenses what do you think . I think whats remarkable is that were now having the debate about what constitute Sexual Assault from what the candidate for the republican nomination is saying. I mean, this is something that is now the center of this president ial campaign, and an argument you hear not just from trump surrogates but at the rally. I hear if all the time. A normalization, finding alarming. This idea accept as part of the normal discourse. And as if you are a part of some elite that somehow doesnt understand that this language occurs, or that you are overplaying it, because you call it something predatory. Or naive. Or thatty are naive, which, of course, youre not, and that you dont understand it for what it is, which is by calling it locker room, youre calling it harmless. Youre saying, its banter. Its nothing. Its harmless. Well, its not harmless. Its harmful. Nobody denies that there are people out there who say terrible things. Anyone on the internet knows. Sure. An egg account on twit ker say the most disgusting things. Ive never had that happen. Really . Whats so strange about this, the argument from trump and the campaign is that this is just normal. Its not normal. You only see this in a sort of worst reaches of american life. Its not normal and it shouldnt be normal. Thank you all so much. Coming up, donald trump riles up a crowd with the wrong information. The story, after the break. Geico motorcycle, great rates for great rides. I we worked with pg eof to save energy because wenie. Wanted to help the school. They would put these signs on the door to let the teacher know you didnt cut off the light. The teachers, they would call us the energy patrol. So they would be like, here they come, turn off your lights those three young ladies were teaching the whole school about energy efficiency. We actually saved 50,000. And thats just one school, two semesters, three girls. Together, were building a better california. Just this morning, wikileaks released its third installment from the hacked emails of john podesta and so far the messages from provided by a look into the inner workings of the clinton camp. While its disconcerting that they were hacked, its worrying they may be misconstrued and taken out of context. Chief National Correspondent shim sciutto with me. I want to put up a tweet from donald trump. This is what he would like to focus on. He says i hope people are looking at the disgraceful behavior of Hillary Clinton as exposed by wikileaks. She is unfit to run. So there is stuff in these emails that the Clinton Campaign should answer for. It seems like what theyre doing is casting doubt on whether theyre real. If they were fake i would think they would say they were fake. But a russian news outlet totally misrepresented one of these emails and donald trump read it. This was interest iing. Campaign officials have been concerned for some time. First of all just about hackin of the system and then you have documents put out there but also the concern and this is straight out of the russian in fact the soviet playbook, you release documents, 100 of them are authentic and one is not. You sneak in something thats been doctored to look worse than what it is. Thats been a real concern. But what happened this weekend is probably either the clumsiest attempt at that or just an outright mistake. Lets have been to what donald trump said. So blumenthal writes a quote. I have to tell you this. One important point has been universally acknowledged by the nine previous reports about benghazi, this is sidney blumenthal, the only one she was talking to. She wasnt talking to ambassador stevens even though 600 calls, probably desperation. The attack was almost certainly preventable are, benghazi. Clinton was in charge of the state department and it failed to protect the United States personnel at an american consulate in libya. He meant benghazi. If the gop wants to raise that as a talking point against her, it is legitimate. In other words, hes now admitting they could have done something about benghazi. This just came out a little while ago. Now, the trouble with that is that those words were not Sidney Blumenthals to Hillary Clinton, they were, in fact, cut and pasted from a newsweek article written by curt ike iken wald. Sidney blumenthal cut and pasted . Cut and pasted to share with other members of the clinton staff. Hes been following this story closely, he said these words sound familiar, let me look at my copy, that was something i wrote years ago describing this. It was not snooblumenthals assessment. And nothing from the Trump Campaign . Not on that. To be fair, as you say, as this be happening, wikileaks is release rag whole host of other communications that appear to be authentic, the question is, how damaging are they and what do they reveal . Jim sciutto, thank you so much for that report. We appreciate it. Thats it for me. Ill be back at 5 00 eastern on the situation room for our International Viewers amanpour is next.
