[camera shutters] pres. Biden thank you all for your patience. Secretary, thank you. Before we begin, i would like to speak briefly about todays jobs report. It has just been issued. We received more good news. In august, the economy created 315,000 new jobs. The great americans job machine continues to come back, American Workers are back to work earning more, and building an economy from the bottom up and the middle out. With todays news, we have now created nearly 10 million new jobs since i took office. Nearly 10 million jobs. The fastest growth in all of american history. In august, we also saw the share of americans working on our economy went up. Economists call that labor force partition participation rate. Working age women are now, for the first time, back at work at rates not seen since before the pandemic. Wages are up, unemployment remains near a 50 year low, and yesterday, we got data that showed manufacturing orders were up but Cost Increases and supply chain items were beginning to ease. The week before that, we got data showing price increase may be beginning to ease as well. The bottom line is jobs are up, wages are up, people are back to work, and we are seeing signs inflation may be im not overpromising may be beginning to ease. Couple that with gas prices have now fallen 80 straight days, the fastest decline in over a decade. And the price at the pump is now 1. 20 a gallon less than at the beginning of the summer. Some really good news into the labor day weekend, we are also seeing Something Else critical to the backbone of the american economy. Manufacturing. Manufacturing is roaring back. Since i took office, the economy created 660,000 manufacturing jobs, the strongest manufacturing coverage since the 1950s. Just last week, we have seen Major American Companies from first solar to corning to macron and macron to announced micron, announced they were spend millions of dollars in america. We see major comedies like toyota and honda announced they are choosing america to invest in builds. None of this is happening by accident. These investments and this recovery are direct result of my economic plan. Some people gave up on american manufacturing, not me. Not the secretary. Not the american people. Make it in america is no longer just a slogan, it is a reality in my administration. Im committed to building an economy from the bottom up and middle out. You heard me say that 1000 times but that is what is happening. That is what we are here to talk about today. A big part of the American Rescue plan i signed a month after i got in office, we were facing a once in a century pandemic, historic joblessness, businesses struggling to stay open, Remote Learning for children, but thanks to the American Rescue plan, we have come a long way. We got vaccine shots in arms, we help people who needed it the most, we kept teachers in classroom, cops on the beat, firefighters on the job because the local communities did not have the money to pay for that. As a result, covid no longer controls our lives. More americans are working than ever, businesses are growing, schools are open, and today we are celebrating a Signature Program within the American Rescue plan that will help communities that need it most. Look, it is called the build back better regional challenge. It is centered around a vision that, as our economy modernizes and recovers, and Sciences Technology accelerate and change the nature and on how we manufacture, we want workers and Small Businesses leading the transition, make sure they are part of it, not just shoved to the side. Instead of fearing the transition to leave them behind. We will help them that retrained and many other things. Think of the 55yearold Small Businessman making a single screw this is true for combustible engines for cars for decades. He and his workers are worried. Why . Because we moved to hightech electric vehicles. We will help businesses with training in technology to help them make parts for electric vehicles and lead the transition to a Clean Energy Economy so they are not left behind. This is about investing in them, believing in them, helping them transition to a new world. They can do these jobs, just like they did the ones they had before. This is about jobs in their communities, for them, not having to leave or not having to go on unemployment as new enterprises are created in the communities. They should not have to leave. They should be the ones to be able to fill in for those jobs. So we design this program while thinking about people and places in really important way. I know i have you on the screen, 21 different communities, this American Rescue plan program invests 1 billion to create jobs and opportunities for people in places where they live and where they worked their entire lives so they dont have to leave. I know when folks hear big numbers, they do not think it is for them, but this is for them. This is for them. Over 500 coalitions applied for the grants from Community Organizations to philanthropy to a labor union and colleges, university, all working together from every part of america. That kind of interest is a testament to the need and enthusiasm for this type of investment. I take a look at this as a transition investment. Im so proud to announce 21 awardees on the screen here who each received between 25 25 million jobs to 60 mil jobs to turn their plans into action. Secretary raimondo said i guess i was not supposed to start this off was i . Come to think of it, i was supposed to let her speak first. These projects will result in 100,000 jobs, created or saved, over 7 billion in additional private Sector Investment in these communities. We want you to continue having good jobs in your communities so you dont have to leave, so your people in your communities are not displaced. The winners are all here. Up on the screen. Theyre going to empower communities in pennsylvania, West Virginia joad joe, is that you . Is that joe matthew . Im here with you. Pres. Biden you are one of the guys that started this idea with me talking about what needed to be happening in West Virginia. They will empower communities in pennsylvania, West Virginia, louisiana, to lead our nations transition to clean energy. They will empower small manufacturers in michigan, north carolina, el paso, texas, hoping the modernized to become a supply chain for cutting edge technologies, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, advanced space. They will empower workers in fresno, california. A printer ships that lead to good paying jobs and they will support entrepreneurship and Small Business creation from native American Communities in montana and to tulsas greenwood neighborhood, once touted as a these projects will uplift underserved communities and include them as key parts of americas economic recovery for the 21st century. Where people have been left behind in the past or could not have been lifted out of anything before, they will be part of this recovery. They will be the ones who will be leading the way, they are the ones getting retrained for these jobs. Take the project in georgia. I recently signed a number of laws that will bring manufacturing jobs back to america to make sure the future is made in america. Think of everything from electric vehicles to semiconductor chips. Georgia tech, one of the Great Research universities, is a leader in understanding how Artificial Intelligence can be used to strengthen almost any industry. To me folks, in black communities or rule communities in georgia, cannot afford access to the knowledge and research to be able to capture those jobs, to be trained for them. They cannot take advantage of all of that technology that can make them make all the difference for them. Georgia tech partnered with hbcus like fort valley state and local Community Colleges. With this grant, they will take this technology on the road. With mobile training studios. That is basically how take van traveling into underserved areas across georgia to train a whole new generation of workers. Technology experts will provide workers who are interested in four to six week handson training that can make all of the difference in their employment. Think of a Poultry Farmer who might never have had a chance to learn how to artificial how Artificial Technology can help manage inventory or improve the safety and quality while increasing productivity. Think of the familyown paper manufacturer i could never have afforded trying out cutting edge technologies. But now they will be able to. They will be able to grow their businesses. They can do it without ever leaving their home or families. This is a game changer. Take the projections the project in manchester, New Hampshire. I heard so much from the delegation in New Hampshire anyway i wont get into it but this is one of the things they have been pushing for a long time, both senators and congressmen. Their goal is nothing short of becoming a global at the center and the next generation of advanced medicine. But to do it, they need worldclass labs for Clinical Trials that would attract the most innovative biomedicine companies to locate and create jobs in New Hampshire. I have to say senators sheen and congressman pappas, i hear you. I know have been i know i have been talking about this for a long time and we finally got it. And we will bring struggling communities along in the process. Because of this grant, manchester will revitalize what was once one of the largest textile plants in the world. Right now, 100,000 squarefoot mills, the building is empty in iowa but not for long because of this grant, the coalition of city leaders and Community Organizations will transform that mill into a modern marvel. It will house advanced science labs to conduct groundbreaking Clinical Trials. It will be the place to test biotechnologies and treatments that will save lives and the governor, republican governor is working on it there as well. For Small Businesses and entrepreneurs in the manchester area, at least the it means opportunity, jobs you can raise your family in manchester and not have to move. Because of this American Rescue plan grant, they will have access to cuttingedge technology and labs that could have never been afforded before. It will allow them to compete with anyone anywhere in the world and make sure the supply chain for these new medicines advances medical advances are built here in america. It matters. As you probably know, i could go on and on and speak about each community here but time wont permit. I applaud every community that received a grant and that applied you are the reason why im so optimistic about the future of this country. I mean it. Heard me say it many times before, america is the only nation in the world that can be defined by a simple word, possibilities. Nothing but possibilities here. That is what this is all about. I want to thank you and i will do what i should have done to begin with, turn it over to the secretary to begin this but we have already gone by it, so madam secretary, the floor is yours. Thank you, mr. President i think the fact the president jumped in right away is a testament to how excited he is about this project. He is fired up and he is committed to it and that is because he knows. He knows we have to be investing in every community in america to help with the transition. Let me fill in a few blanks about how the program will work and then we will have a discussion with a handful of the 21 awardees. First of all, congratulations. If you are one of the 21 here, you are the cream of the crop, your applications were fantastic , and congratulations to each and everyone of your the president and i are so proud of you and thrilled to be able to work with you. I have to thank you, mr. President , for your leadership. Everybody should know that this was the president s idea. As he said, the American Rescue plan was passed 17 months ago, 3 billion of that came to the Commerce Department to do Economic Development and we decided to put 1 billion into this build back better regional challenge. It is because the president directed me to make investments in communities, to help communities revitalize themselves and get ready for the transitions in our economy. Because he fundamentally said people want to work where they live and they ought to be able to do that. That is what this is all about. We believe every single american , no matter where you live, ought to have an opportunity to have a highpaying family supporting job in that community. That is what this is about. Let me fill in some of the blanks about the approach. It is a novel approach. This is the First Time Ever the department of commerce has made such sizable investments in individual communities. When we started, to be honest, we were not sure. We were not sure if communities would apply and bring together coalitions and have the capacity to invest tens of millions of dollars. We got 529 submissions, we went from 529 down to 60 finalists, and from those finalists, we worked to get to the 21 who are with us today. So again, the fact you are among the 21, hats off to each of you. Heres what makes this interesting, everyone on the screen of the 21 will be receiving between 25 million and 65 million to address regional, economic challenges and to invest in rid of idolizing in revitalizing the economies of these communities. That is a lot of change, to make Big Investments and revitalize your communities. This was all bottoms up. We went to the community and said you tell us how to revitalize your community and you bring the Community Together, public sector, private sector, universities, philanthropy, get your Community Together and tell us what you would need to invest. As a result, this federal funding will be matched by more than 300 Million Dollars of local investment and would leverage support for over 450 private sector in 27 labor unions or worker organizations. We estimate that, together, this whole initiative will create or save over 100,000 jobs and over 7 billion of additional private investment will be catalyzed through each coalitions ef forts. As the president said, this is about growing industries crucial to our future, clean energy, biotechnology, advanced mobility. It is about saying to the Small Businesses and workers in these communities, we know the economy is transitioning. We are moving away from fossil fuels to clean energy. We are moving towards robotics, moving towards more digital economy, more technical economy. The point of it is no one will be left behind. Because we are going to retrain workers, we are going to retrain Small Businesses, and we are going to light up abandoned buildings that may have once trained coalminers and will train solar installers. Abandoned, manufacturing facilities that may have once made widgets will be lightened up for advanced manufacturing and solar panels. So the important point here and the president talks to us all the time about this is if you are out there in buffalo and you drive by every day an abandoned industrial building and you have a pit in your stomach wondering is there a place for me in new economy, or if you are someone who has worked for 30 years in one of the toyota companies and you only know how to work on a traditional auto car and you are worried you have the skills to transition to the electric field call economy, what were are saying is yes. Yes because we are going to retrain you, we are going to retrofit Small Businesses, we are going to do solar installations at industrial scale over abandoned coal mines, and we will make sure that, as we transition, everyone is included and trained in these and the Small Businesses are able to do this. I will end with a personal story that i talk to the president. When we were designing this program, i had my father in mind. Once upon a time, rhode island was a jewelry manufacturing capitol of the world. Everywhere you looked, jewelry manufacturing, low skill, but it was a good job. My that had one of those jobs, blow the watch until he is 56 years old, and his job and other jobs went to china. He was so often saying to us, we were just left behind. We were not retrained. He wanted to work and he could work and he said our leaders left us behind. So the what this is about as President Biden is committed to folks who have that anxiety, who work in manufacturing, who have worked in the coal industry, who worked in traditional Combustion Engine vehicles and they are feeling anxious and we are saying we are going to be there for you to make sure you are not left behind or left out and we will make investments in your community so you can work in the community where you and your family live. We are excited and honestly i am lucky i get to work for a boss who gets this, because he gets it. Every time we breathe him, he says dont to me how much money we are spending, tell me what are we doing for the people of america. That is why this is so exciting. With that, we want to hear from you. As the president said, if we have the time we would like to hear from everyone of you because everyone of you has put together a phenomenal application, but we do not have the time so we are going to hear from a couple of you and hope to have a freeflowing discussion. I want to begin by calling on the Detroit Regional Partnership foundation. Congratulations. You all are receiving 52. 2 million, which is incredible. We would like to hear from you and i would like to call on maureen. Just tell us about how are you going to invest the 52 million, what are the products are doing, and what does this mean for the Small Businesses in the supply chain in detroits auto Manufacturing Industry . Good morning. Thank you, madam secretary, and good morning, mr. President. We are thrilled to join you here today from detroit, the global epicenter of mobility. I want to introduce two of our partners who are with me today. Quinton master junior who is the ceo of the michigan economic corporation, matt stabler, the ceo of tech down detroit we have a large group of over 140 partners joining us virtually and to Work Together for the successful application. We are honored the eva has recognized the detroit region is leading the transformation from internal Combustion Engine to electric vehicle. Jim is the answer to a build back better regional challenge. This grant will fund 60 projects that will help the region and country maintain its Global Automotive leadership. Jim will support workers, start a businesses, and small to Mediumsized Companies that they adapted to new hightech advancement in the industry. Gem offers the opportunity to create a National Model for equitable Economic Growth. We are ready to help secure the nations advanced mobility leadership for generations to come. Thank you again. We also wanted to invite you, mr. President and madam secretary, in two weeks to join us in detroit at the north American International auto show where we can show you in person how we are leading the way. Pres. Biden i will be there. Awesome. Pres. Biden i am a car guy. As you kind of noticed. Hey, look. I drive the cabinet crazy and my staff crazy by asking them to give concrete examples that if you walked up to somebody in a corner and said they could completely understand it. One of the things that this is p biden i believe and have been saying for some time that the next 10 to 15 years, more is going to change in terms of technology and innovation then has happened in the last 75 years. I mean that sincerely. Things are going to change so rapidly. That is good if we are going to compete in the world, but it is scary as hell for someone we were talking on the way over to this building about how there is hundreds of Small Companies supplying small parts to internal Combustion Engines, and he would give me the example of a bowl one Company Provides that will not be useful in an electric vehicle. So what were going to do is train that company and ownership of the company what parts they can contribute to to make that vehicle. I will give you a concrete example. Remember we were having the great difficulty we still have difficulty in the supply chain items coming from asia. And the shipping the vast majority of it comes through the parts in san diego and los angeles and those sports. The ports were asking for help across the country for new technologies, new cranes, new movements, more robotics. I said ok, we will do it on one condition, that the people you have on the job now at the port are the people you train. You give them the opportunity to man the new machinery, not a joke. One of the things i think what was so important about what we are talking about, all of we are talking about, is think about all of the people who have been breaking their neck and doing well doing things that matter who are going to become obsolete because of how things are changing, whether it is the transition into climate environment or whether it is manufacturing or medicine, whatever it is. So when you say youre going to provide indepth assessment and assistance at 65 firms to a supply chain transformation center, that can sound pretty abstract to a lot of people. Give me an example of what you mean for a company and workers in this supply chain transformation center. What are you talking about . Absolutely, mr. President. In our region, because you are important here a few years ago in helping us make a transformation, we need to do it again. We have a talented workforce and supply chain but we need to get them the skills and tools they need. One example is the company and community in the detroit region, barren industries, they are a casting company. But the need help in making sure they can produce the right parts with the right technology at the right speed with the right talent. So they have been receiving assistance on marketing, on cyber security, un on production techniques, so they can make the transition as rapidly as the oems are making it and they can say an important part of that is supply chain. That also includes making sure their employees have the upscaling they need so that they can be successful and included in staying here in our region to do the jobs. One of the things i love about what maureen and her team is doing is that, so often, we focus on the big three automakers, which is important for all the obvious reasons. But what they are doing is focused on the whole work of small suppliers. The hundreds if not thousands of small, familyowned suppliers to the big three. In making sure that, as maureen said, they have the new materials, new technology, new training so they can continue to service as we move toward evs. I give you a lot of credit for getting into the supply chain. Pres. Biden last thing i will say and we have been talking about this for a long time, going through two of the major american automobile plants for a long time, for an extended period of time, there was a lot of concern with the uaw about robotics. And how that would displace workers when in fact being able to teach those folks how to use those robots and increase productivity, it does not displace them it is what is really happening. It is all about you can maintain the workforce, you can maintain increase the productivity, remain competitive internationally, and still get a lot done. At any rate, as my grandfather used to say with the good grace of god, i will see you at the auto show. Absolutely. Sec. Raimondo this is a perfect segue. I would love to turn it over to stephanie from the southwestern pennsylvania new economy coalition. You all will be receiving 62. 7 million. I would love to hear stephanie talk a little bit more about that. To put this into perspective and pick up on the point you made, which was about robotics. Carnegie Mellon University in pittsburgh is, as we all know, a world leader in robotics. And a lot of jobs have been created around cmu. But if you are living in a Coal Community or rule community outside of Rural Community outside of pittsburgh, you might wonder how do i fit in . How do i get a job with robotics . Pres. Biden talk to the county executive. Thats what you do. [laughter] sec. Raimondo exactly. That is what these guys are doing. We will turn it over to stephanie and the team and maybe tell us about what you are doing. Share. Thank you, madam secretary. Mr. President , im joined by several of your friends, the county executive, president of carnegie Mellon University, and my colleague and chief equity officer on the project. What i want to start off by saying is thank you for your vision and iq much, matt of thank you much, madam secretary, in making it a reality. What we have loved about this project as we get to do what youve done in pittsburgh, collaborate and bring together what you had, 200 partners, and offices. First to make words into actions to deliver on your vision. So through this amazing challenge, we are able to do what you said, which is to focus those 3000 manufacturers that are in counties like indiana, fayette, greene, and washington and mary that with the over 100 Robotics Companies that help carnegie Mellon University and many other folks to put them together to create this job and technology. We are doing that in a way and it is building programs for people. This is about people first. 14,000 workers, 750 companies. That will fuel an entire new economy for us that will be about southwestern pa and not just the United States but globally redefining how we do business and how we keep jobs at home in our community as you described. Sec. Raimondo thank you. One of the things i love about this is, a lot of people when they hear robotics or they hear autonomous technologies they hear im about to lose my job. What stephanie and the team are doing is saying the opposite. This will create Job Opportunities for you, including in your rule community Rural Community, not just in cmu. I appreciate that question. [indiscernible] i can start by telling you the data, which as we know that for everyone job that may be displaced with robotics, technology and a company is creating at least 1. 5 and sometimes more. What is more important and that we understand is, when companies are growing and scaling in our midst, those hundred companies i talked about, many have upwards of 1000 employees and those are middle skill jobs. Those are jobs where people are tinkering and building sensors and using the skills you described like your father had. That is exactly what we are trying to do today and were doing it for light energy, light agriculture, light health care, this is an incredible opportunity. When we know more when you talk to the workers, they are more fulfilled, they are enjoying their ability to use creative skills to customize sensors, to repair robots, to work in partnership with entrepreneurs in creating technology. It is a more fulfilling job, a higher wage job, it keeps them in our communities and allows them to have family sustaining jobs where they were born and where they want to stay. Pres. Biden i had the honor of you showing me around carnegie mellon. It is a great university, for real. Are you working with smaller outfits like the Community Colleges in the region . Talk to me about this sort of coordination between the Great National University Like yours and a Community College in the community. First of all, thank you for your leadership. It is good to be with you. There are two aspects i want to highlight. On the one hand, what we are trying to do is create bodies in automation to smaller and medium size enterprise. The Digital Transformation taking place is having Ripple Effect across many sectors of our economy. So we are building those technologies and know how to agriculture, to consumption, to energy, to health care care, to manufacturing, to transportation. That element will uses those skills and technologies as small to make them more competitive extremely important. It is extreme import for the nation because we have been in a global war so that is one element. The second element has to do with resetting the workforce and in this case, we are working with Community Colleges, working on personal development, working on various ways we can bring along the workers and train them and train them for the jobs. Its extremely important to recognize as we adapt these new that as we adapt the new technology. Especially in our poor, urban areas and as the madam secretary alluded to, what we are committed to. Thank you for the opportunity. How does this play out on the political scene . As a county executive, what are you going to be able to tell folks about what is happening with this 62 billion . What we can tell people, President Biden continues to invest in people and jobs and in our future. Congratulations on another great job report. 10 million jobs is unbelievable, a lot of them have been created in southwestern pennsylvania. As they have mentioned, it is not just from a robotics, Software Engineer in pittsburgh. It is the manufacturing facilities that are transitioning and the type of training throughout our Community College, but families. I know we talked about this all the time and it is important. It is about hope, and the future for the next generation who are out there wondering, what is going to happened . The changes in the next 15 years, this does not leave people behind. We appreciate that very much and are looking forward to seeing you on labor day. We guarantee good weather, mr. President. Pres. Biden do you have anything you would like to add about what is going on in the community . What is important about this, as he spoke to mr. President , often, people think robotics and ai are leaving people behind. We are being intentional demographically within our communities, people of color, women and in our Rural Communities about how we connect people to inclusive pathways, but connecting them to Business Development opportunities in the robotics and ai industry which traditionally they may have not have at access had access to. We are intentional in making this an economy for all. Pres. Biden one of the things, if i may, having been a significant consumer of health care and having family members who needed Serious Health care, one of the things that i think in health care, most docs will tell you that when people get a diagnosis that is dire, they need a navigator. They need someone to help them no wind to go to what appointment, what the appointments are for, just explain what is going on. It seems to me we need navigators. I am wondering how you are doing that. Lets say there is someone we are doing this on a local pittsburgh television station, someone listens in and says, i would like how are you reaching out to the community, and do we have essentially whatever you want to call them, navigators. Say, look, here is the way you can get into this, here is what you do. Or, are people going into those Small Businesses that are going to be eventually displaced because technology is going to be surpassed, have you thought about that . Absolutely. Thank you, that is the spirit of what we were talking about earlier. We have five projects that are woven together, each with incredible organizations that you will see on the ground. The money is going to neighborhoods and communities so they can use the organizations that know their people, that know where the businesses are, that nowhere no if people are ready for Entrepreneurial Office duty. For example, it starts with our Manufacturing Business partner sure. They know where the manufacturers are and understand readiness without technology. They will come together in a manufacturing hub with entrepreneurs who can create them a product they can employ. We have our reaccelerator entity that is creating a new model of startup factories in major spaces throughout the community where we can identify opportunities to create new technologies that will be deployed into those colonies. Our workforce ecosystem and aside, what will be connected by a web of workforce and other Community Organizations including labor unions and others, can bring the curriculum partnerships for workers for those jobs. What we are relying on, partners who know how to navigate and no where the businesses and people are to make sure they have a marriage that can propel this opportunity. Pres. Biden things i have raised with you guys and everyone who is part of this grant effort, i think it is useful think about it. 25 years ago, 30 years ago, almost every high school had a shop, classes where you will learn to look work with your hands, just to get a sense. I really think we should be i do not have a program, but i think we should be talking about a little bit about how we let High School Students know how things are changing and what may be available down the road. I know we are i know why am taking this longer than i should, a guy has been talking about transition a long time with me, joe manchin. He lives, breeds and eats West Virginia. Joe, how is this going to help, if it is, the West Virginia transition to a strengthened, totally new economy . You and i have spoken many times about this when you first came into office. How West Virginians thought they were left behind. My wonderful state and the people of my state have worked hard and are proud, they have done the heavy lifting for years and years and years. They can never complain. As things started changing, there was nothing left for them. 21 of our most affected counties in southern West Virginia, this is based around that. It is pumping into an area that we call the appalachian climate technology, or act coalition, which is led by he has been a tremendous help. It is basically reinventing, being able to meet the needs of those who transition to make sure we can provide services. That is what they have been doing for quite some time. This announcement, this rescue plan continues to pay benefits for West Virginia. Also, your cochair of appalachian regional commission, who i know very well, is very, very proud that appalachia has so much consideration. You are the first person mr. President , and most capable and with your most capable secretary and friend, directing it to the people who need it the most, i think what we are here to say is thank you. These 21 counties have made projects, on the panel, i have my dear friend, mayor charleston, steve williams, a colleague of mine, and the Western Union hub director that works directly with these projects, they can explain in detail what this is going to allow us to do. Weve got 62. 8 Million Dollars, one of the top awards. The need is there, i can guarantee investments will be made. You can spend money, but you can invest money. We will give you a return on this. We will give the taxpayers of the United States a return on investment in West Virginia. A reward based to the people who have done the heavy lifting, we will continue to transition our Inflation Reduction Act, this segues right into that because now, it is going to allow them to start focusing on a complete, new way of delivering the energy this country is going to need. We talked about the cars, i said, you wouldnt have a car if we if it wasnt for the coal you needed to produce. As the transition goes on, the investments being made, the 48 seat tax credit 48 c tax credit will help diversify and attract more business. I cannot tell you how much this means, mr. President. I am so proud to be part of this and so proud of what has done with the American Rescue plan, and what the Inflation Reduction Act is going to do. So many people do not know how much in there is going to transition their lives and transfer them into an economy that is going to give them a lot of stability. We are. Proud. Pres. Biden i would love to talk to everyone of you, but i am getting a signed they are going to cut [laughter] we could do this all day. Pres. Biden let me conclude by saying this. This is not going to waste money, what we are talking about each of you doing. It is going to grow the economies. It is going to keep us in a position where we are the most advanced economy in the world, and when we bring along the people who have made this country. I joke, i know i shouldnt get political let me put it this way.
