We are showing a lot of wearable devices that came out in 2014. A lot that were announced in partnership with ces last year. We are showcasing a lot of products that came from the make it wearable challenge. So the challenge in october and we announced three winners and the grand prize winner won 500,000 for the project. Host this was a wearable contest . And they had to use an intel product. Yes. Host what was the winner . Guest a flying grown. You wear it on your wrirs wrist and it flies off, takes a picture of you and comes back to you like a boom a rang. It was a cool product. All of them were shocked. Our ceo had them and we are involved in the final. Host this years contest, what do you have this year . I am the community manager. I get people excited about our projects which is easy. Host how does this work . We heard a little about what it is but demonstrate it. This is a flying camera you wear. This is just a prototype the final product is more beautiful, smaller and easier to wear. But the prototype works. We demonstrated it live last night and i that was very exciting. What happens is you will be going throughout your day, if there is something you want to capture, you take it off the wrist, it will expand and be as easy as gesturing. You will toss it. It is smart enough to know the direction you toss it and the pressure. If it is gentle it will go further away. It will compose a photo, take a photo and come back. Host it will shoot video . It will do a photo, burst of photos or a short video. Host who came up the idea . The founder is a couple where she is a physics student and they missed their daughters first stepped and thought they need something that would allow them to capture this moment. Another one of the companys exhibiting at International Ces is called parrot based in paris. What does it do . How long have you been around . Guest 20 years. Five years we have been doing drones for the consumer market. The brand new one you can see there. It is a small saucer safe and secure. So you have a front camera. It is 180 degree field and what is great is you can take your share or you can recall the video. And it is nad and it sends you a 180 degree lens. Just when you are doing something you move the window regarding the center and you have the most stable video with the drone. Host you said you are doing this for the consumer market. For people that like to play video games . This is not for business or anything . Not for business. Just people who like to fly and they go do it. And here with the video you can have the video recording of what you are doing even if you are skiing or having fun with friends or family. And also we have the sky controller. That is the remote control. So you can have a small wifi and go up to two kilometers in the air with that. And the Safety Control is precise. And the battery and connection are good. So it is a great experience. You put your gloves on and it is flying and a great experience. Host if you want to download the video that you shot from the drone does it do that automatically . Guest you have the video on there drone and you can download it wifi to tablet or smart phone or cuonnect the dren by the usb. Drone host what is the price tag . Guest we were doing the smart phone devices like car keys head phones, and so we wanted to go to toys and so we said okay we wanted to do a car but we said it is not working so we did this. Guest this is one of the best innovations throughout ces. It is usually, this gets your stuff from the car. We are on the back and we design it to be integrated fully to any car. It has the possibility of gps navigation to get digital and analog channels to get audio in and out we improved the integration into the car as it is for the connectors and information from the car and bring it to the driver. Guest yes, and if you have a window phone that is not a big deal because we have blue tooth and wifi. You can be fully connected to four phone just keep it in your pocket. And you can use the Voice Recognition features. Host so this is the product. Guest this is the product. As you can see on the apple phone and on the this is an example of the upright navigation. This extends to the phone and grabs all of the information from the phone to the head unit. Host okay. Guest or if you want to listen to music just get the information from your music and who is playing here. Host this is built into the car . Guest everything is built into the car. We have a mode that is an android 5 as well. It grabs all of the information from the car as i was saying to get you a full understanding. It can give you notes on the way you brake, use your gasoline and history of previous drives. Or if you have a value that impairs you. How does this unit know you have a flat tire . How does it sense that . Guest information is provided by the car and the car is say that it cant read information, we grab it throughout the connector and bring it to the driver. And i was telling you we are also in compliance with android. It is the same way as the apple car play. Host there is the android. Guest this is the nexus five. You can chose to use the application from the phone or the onboard navigation system. You are the one that decides. Host are you able to perhaps monitor your house through this device . Guest it started because a man wanted to take pictures of him and a friend surfing and it evolved into this. Host cameras are old school arent they . Well cell phones . Guest these are more proactive. If you want to get high quality footage you can take great photos and video. Host so we are looking at this smallcamera. What is the technology . Guest we have the ability of 1080 which is incredible for a small camera and this one is the four silver and it is amazing quality but has an integrated led skin so you can scan up the shoot and review the footage from the camera. Host this is still and video . Guest yes. Host and how does everything in here get to the the tv screen . Guest there is a few ways. We have a gopro app you can use from the wifi through the camera. You can send to smart phones or mobile device where you can offload and control the content from there. You have a gopro studio so if you connect the camera sd card thoo to the computer you can up load it to the studio and share it through the world. Host here in the display you have a dog wearing a camera and a little kid. Guest gopro is the most verse versetile camera. You can prop it to you are bike or child or dog. Host and the quality of the video here . We have this big camera we are shooting some of the display. How does it compare . Guest it is great. Pretty durable. 4k30 so breath taking amazing footage. I go to a local distributor so whether that is target or walmart walmart. I buy it, go on the mountain and i am like i want great shots, go and capture content, use gopro studio and share it on social media. And here is editing software. Jake would be able to give you a demo but you take content from the camera, offload it on the computer edit and trim and save an edited through the interface. We try to make it as easy as possible for our user. We created gopro through the template which is a preedited template where you can drag and drop the footage. Host what was your background before gopro . I was working by another company that was acquired by gopro and part of that was to develop an editing tool for gopro. We spent the last few years making the studio software. Host it looks complicated. It is not. It just has a big screen. It is easy. You have set two edits, set three export, and the first launch is aa tutorial and step one is where you go through the footage, add it to the conversion, convert the files into the kodak and once you do that the trimmed versions show up over here. And instead of the big long recordings you recorded to the camera you have this little highlight part you like. And from here you drag each one down in the story board and then you tell it to play that one. You can try special effects here. Instagram presets and you can upload the clip. And this is happening non de destructively. Host how much video can that little camera hold . Shooting at 30 frames per second in hd it would hold about four hours of content. The Higher Quality mode takes the time. If you have a bigger card you can shoot more and higher resolutions shorten the amount. Basically hd 1080 p30 is four hours. Host and the editing suite comes with the camera . It is a Free Download and it will work with gopro and other cameras that are random. If you have a camera that shoots in that format you might try it and see if it works. Host why wasnt this done before . Guest i think a lot of people wanted to do this but never found the right parts or that specific pieces. He found it worked hard to put it together, and here it is today. Has one of the lang est battery life on the market. It means two to two and a half days on one card which is huge for consumers. Host using the android operating system . Guest yes. Android. So the dual cameras are for a specific purpose and i will do a quick demonstration. I am take a picture and then show you the capabilities. You can get a unique perspective on the image. If you capture the Shutter Button it gives you the opportunity to change them or refocus the image so you can refocus what is in the background and put this out of focus and you can change it or whatever you would like to do. Not only can you do that but you can change the aperture on it. And you can bring it more out of focus to bring the focus into the area. Or you can lower it down. And that keeps everything in balance and focused. So very unique feature along with the great filters where the images and then the front camera is unique because it is an 8 mega pixel camera on the front giving full hd selfies or video calls.
