This just one day after the web site leaked a ninth batch of emails belonging to john podesta. Now, included in the release are transcripts from hillarys paid speeches to Goldman Sachs which showcase her rather cozy relationship with some of wall streets biggest players. The leaked emails also show the campaigns disappointment that the San Bernardino terrorists were muslim and not a white guy. Plus, the fbi releasing 100 pages of Hillary Clintons emails which show the state department trying to engage in a little quid pro quo, shall we say, with the fbi over her email scandal. We have a whole lot going on right now, and blake burman is here to break it all down. Hey, blake. Reporter hi there, trish. Yeah, the latest notes from the fbis investigation suggest that a Top State Department member, the undersecretary, Patrick Kennedy, tried to use his position to get the fbi to change the classification of one of clintons emails. Quoting directly here from the fbi notes, it says the following the agent, whose name has been redacted, indicated he had been contacted by Patrick Kennedy, undersecretary of state, who had asked his assistance in altering the emails classification in exchange for a quid pro quo. That agents name has been redacted and advised in exchange for marking the email unclassifieded, state would allow the fbi to place more agents in countries where they are presently forbidden. Now, the notes go on to say at a later meeting kennedy lobbied for 15 minutes to have the fbi change that marking. The marking was not changed. Republicans at the topmost levels this afternoon are rebuking kennedy with congressman Jason Chaffetz and def van nunez devon nunez urging the president and secretary of state to remove kennedy from his position. Just moments ago press secretary josh earnest was asked about this, and he argued that the state department and fbi have already weighed in. Both the state department and the fbi indicated the purported arrangement that is being flaunted around by Congressional Republicans is not true. And heres the other thing, the fbi did take a look into it. There were investigators who were taking a look at this situation, and they didnt choose to prosecute anybody. Reporter so the white house brushing this off this afternoon, trish. Separately, the wikileaks rollout of clintonrelated emails has stopped at least for this day with wikileaks tweeting Julian AssangesInternet Access has been cut off. Ironically, in one released over the weekend, clinton talks of the value of someone running for Public Office who has a successful business background. Trish . Trish blake burman, thank you very much. Joining me right now is trump economic adviser steve moore along with rollive radio host progressive radio host chris hahn. They basically want Patrick Kennedy to resign because he was floating the idea, hey, you do this for us, well do that for you. This is the quid pro quo. Steve, i go back to any business, if a ceo caught an employee doing Something Like that, the employee should be fired. Why wont the president in this particular case say, hey, yeah, maybe we should suspend this guy for just a little while because what he did was wrong . Well, look, that would be fine, but i think theres a bigger story here which is that this is part of what were now finding out from these wikileaks stories which is a vast coverup. And, you know, its so interesting if you look im old enough to remember the watergate era. It wasnt the breakin, it was the coverup that was the undoing of Richard Nixon. And what were finding out drip by drip every day including this latest or report was there was a concerted effort to cover up what happened and even engage in what i would describe is as, is, you know, obstruction of justice. Trish chris hahn, how do you respond to that . Because the white house, you know, isnt having any of this. Theyre basically shoving off Jason Chaffetzs concerns saying hes trying to make this political. To me, its not even political. You know, youve got the undersecretary of state there trying to make a deal with the fbi. Doesnt seem right. Well, look, you know, im glad that steve brought up watergate, because the wikileaks thing reminds me of watergate on a massive scale, and we dont even know if that information is correct. As for what may or may not happen between the undersecretary and fbi, Government Agencies do a lot of horse trading. Maybe this was right, maybe this wasnt right. I think theres been some investigation of this by the fbi and others, and i think weve gotten to the bottom of it. I dont think there was anything wrong with what they did. Trish you dont think there was anything wrong with what Patrick Kennedy was proposing, to have an email reclassified so it wouldnt be leaked into the Public Domain . I think that emails get reclassified all the time trish and if you do this for us, well do this for you . Well put those fbi agents in these overseas missions youve been wanting to get in . Again, we dont have confirmation. This is speculation on something put out there by who knows who. So i dont know what were talking about, but i will say this, trish, horse trading happens in government all the time trish yeah, and maybe this is perhaps why the American Public is so fed up exactly. Trish with government. To say this kind of stuff happens all the time, i mean, look, theres just no accountability, it seems. I think thats right, trish. Trish you have an administration that wants to shove everything under the rug because, god forbid, it reflect poorly on them. Let me move on to this wikileaks issue saying potentially a state actor, wikileaks is blaming a state actor. Whats your thought on that, steve moore . Well, let me address this issue about whether theyre accurate or not. Look, i agree, we should make sure that these are actual emails and that they werent things that were fabricated. I completely agree with that. They need to be authenticated before we make broad generalizations about hillarys behavior. But i would simply go back to this point that its every one of these pieces of evidence suggests there was a concerted effort by the, by Hillary Clinton and her team of politicos to try to hide the evidence here. And and that is, look, if you do that as you trish weve been down that path, and i think, you know, there is a concern that thats exactly what was happening. But now, you know, Julian Assange is saying that a state actor is shutting him down. Yeah. Trish you know, could this be, chris, the democrats have said this is russia at work in terms of the hacking and that assange is effect ifively working with the russians on this one, so with that in mind, could we be the ones that are shutting it down . Or maybe it was the russians shutting it down, because theyve been financing this guy for so many months, and Hillary Clintons up 12 points in the polls, they dont see theyre getting any return on their investment, so theyre shutting him down. T1 lines, quite frankly, are very expensive. Look, we dont know anything about what where Julian Assange is getting this information from. We do know that the russians have been implicit in trying to get into the democratic servers and influence our election, and i think its unpatriotic for anybody to take those seriously. Chris, that being the case, why is it that the left never, you know, objected when Julian Assange had all this evidence that he brought forward against republicans . I mean, theres a double standard here. Oh, i absolutely objected to it, and i think Many Democrats did as well. I never saw that. I think this is a direct attempt to influence our election. Right now i want to turn to donald trump because he once again has taken to twitter warning this election is rigged. He said, and i quote of course there is large scale voter fraud on and before election day. Why do Republican Leaders deny what is going on . So naive. He goes on to say the election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing crooked hillary but also at many polling places, sad. This after the weekend making similar claims at his rallies. Watch. Instead of being held accountable, hillary is running for president in what looks like to many people a totally rigged election. Were going to make history together. Remember, its a rigged system. Its a rigged election. When the media does what theyre doing now, thats rigging the system, folks. Its rigging the system. The election is rigged. Its rigged like youve never seen before. Theyre rigging the system. These are very dishonest people. Trish you got it . Rigged. Is he laying the groundwork here for his potential loss, or is he just trying torally his pace . His running mate, mike pence, trying to explain trumps comments. Here he is. We will absolutely accept the results of the election. Look, the American People will speak in an election that will culminate on november the 8th. But the American People are tired of the obvious bias in the national media. Thats where this sense of a rigged election goes here. Trish all right. The premise though that i can tell you is theres very, very little Election Fraud in america. Its a very sacred thing. Hes not the only one on the ballot. There are congressmen, senators, governors, secretaries of state that oversee this. Its not like some magic thing in the dnc or the rnc that can make all this happen. Theres county clerks, they watch this very closely. Theres really no evidence that theres been any broad voter fraud in the past, maybe sometimes a City Council Race somewhere along the line, but never at the president ial level. And i know you talked to me about newt gingrh trish let me play that for the viewers, because Newt Gingrich would disagree with you, and id like to get your response to what he said here. You look at philadelphia, you look at st. Louis, you look at chicago, i mean, again, im old enough i remember when Richard Nixon had the election stolen in 1960, and no serious historian doubts that illinois and texas were stolen. So to suggest that we have, that you dont have theft in philadelphia is to deny reality. Trish so are you denying reality . Do you think that no. I think thats 1960. Im the same age as newt, in fact, i might be a little older. In 1960 Richard Nixon, basically a lot of people thought at that point in time, texas was lost by about 7,000 votes, johnson had been notorious for voter fraud. He got elected by a few votes the first time. Illinois had always been a place that was violated, and there was just a couple thousand vote margin there, so that election may have been stolen. At the end of the day, Richard Nixon made a decision not to go in there, he didnt want a recount, he thought it would be damaging to the thought to the process of american democracy. We have to be careful here throwing these charges out that the election has been rigged. Weve elected 44 men president in the history of our country, weve never basically lost an election by war or anything else, and i think saying democracys not working because the election trish undermines the process. Youre damaging the process. Trish how can you still support him . Im supporting him because hes my candidate, and i will at the end of the day. I think hes wrong on this particular issue, and i will say this over and over again. And i think that newt, basically, as a historian understands that nixon did what he thought was in the best interests of the country. Came back eight years later and got elected to the presidency. Theres very little voter fraud in america today. Trish all right. Maybe hes talking about Something Else which is the media, because the media is very stacked against him. But its, again, its a bias. Its not a rigging. Its a bias that basically its not like all the editors in america had a big meeting in washington, d. C. And said lets go out and get donald trump. Historically, much of the Mainstream Media has been against republican candidates. Ive run president ial campaigns in the past, theyve never been favoring. Favorable. You offset that, and people have won in spite of bad media. George w. Bush won two elections with bad media, george h. W. Bush and ronald reagan. You have other elements to a campaign. What trump does not have is he did not [inaudible] those elements to his campaign. Trish meaning . He didnt raise the money to have as Much Television as she has, he basically had fox and cnn and everything in the primary, but he didnt counter that. Even the surrogates he has out there are not matching what she has. The other part is when you make mistakes as he has and, of course, this is a firsttime candidate, many people do, they get highlighted. Howie, good to see you. Hey, trish. Trish you know, people are very quick to say this is Donald Trumps doing. He essentially has created this, this antagonistic environment right now thats lending itself to things like this. Whats wrong with going there . Its completely ludicrous as well as illogical. I know some people have taken issue with Donald Trumps rhetoric, but the notion that he is singlehandedly whipping up so much fear and loathing in the country that somebody on the other side decided to fire bomb one of his offices and be leave that kind of message seems very paisan in nature. And at the same time, i dont agree with trump tweeting that this were people, this was a person or persons supporting Hillary Clinton and the team contracts. We democrats. We dont know that. Maybe its some nut job. Trish is it a kind of political terrorism in your view . Oh, absolutely. We dont have to guess at that. Not only was a Trump Campaign and Republican Office destroyed in a way that could have hurt people, were glad there were no casualties, but that swastika sends a message. Sure, i mean, we dont know who did it, and it would be nice to know something about that persons motivation. But theres no question this was an act of political terrorism, i agree with the local official you cited. Trish that said, i mean, he certainly has gotten people riled up, right . Not that theres any excuse for blaming him, i agree with you on that. But he has excited the base, shall we say, in a way that, you know, is very passionate. Well, im sort of a stickler on this which is i dont think its fair be, whether its democrat or republican, to blame a candidate, a politician, an Office Holder for the actions of some unhinged or, you know, nut job of a person who may be acting completely on their own who doesnt have any ties to the candidate. In other words, that seems to me to be a form of political blame game i dont particularly like. Now, is it true you talked about this with ed rollins in talking about a rigged election system that trump is delivering kind of a dark message and are the media retaliating against him by accusing him of black helicopter stuff, conspiracy theories, politico preferred to him throwing a temper tantrum. Yeah, things are getting ratcheted up. There is no longer any pretense of fair fairness by much of the media, not all, but by many media outlets, and be trump responding in kind. But thats very different from violence. Trish yeah. No, i hear ya. But it is interesting to watch all of this. If i go, as i do every day, to the New York Times web site, to the Washington Posts web site, its like one after another of antitrump articles. You know, and then you look, for example, for stories on wikileaks and clintons email, and ive got to tell you, theyre harder to find. They really are. The sheer volume of stories about trump which are mostly negative stories about trump and many of them now about the womens allegations of Sexual Misconduct which he vehemently denies have pretty much blown everything off the screen including the daily and damaging disclosures by wikileaks of the Clinton Emails that clearly are embarrassing and collusion with the state department, coziness with certain journalists, were now learning. That should be a bigger story. But i do think we are seeing, you know, trump a story about trump and sex, obviously, you know, brings more ratings and clicks, but thats no excuse. Strategists on both sides of the aisle are already calling this election for Hillary Clinton. Some polls back up that theory, including this one out of monmouth this morning showing hillary with a 12point lead over trump and a new poll from the wall street journal has hillary leading by 11 points. Is she winning by a landslide, or is he getting some kind of comeback . Here we are two days to go before the final debate of all. Is it somewhere in between potentially . Steve moore, chris hahn back with me. I mean, steve, this stuff is all over the place. How come . I think because theres a lot of voters who are still look, hillary cant make the sale with voters, its that easy. People dont want to vote for hillary. Trump is not giving them a reason in the last couple weeks to vote for him, so i think theres a lot of fluctuation. Ive always believed, trish now, im biased, im a trump adviser trump can pull this thing within two or three points on election day he will win because i do believe theres an enthusiasm gap. Second of all, i think theres a silent trump voter who, frankly, has lied to pollsters. Trish chris, youre laughing and shaking your head, but we saw this with brexit. There were silent voters out there. People underestimated them. And you wonder if thats whats going to happen here. People are not admitting that theyre going to vote for donald trump. How else do you explain how these things are all over the place . Well, trish, if you judge by my facebook and twitter page, the Trump Supporters are very vocal and showing their true colors. But if you look trish hang on, chris. The point is were saying, you know, thats a microcosm of them. Right. Trish there are a lot of other people out there that maybe feel a certain amount of pressure not to say that theyre voting for trump that may actually be voting for him. Lets just look at the example of the republican primaries. Late deciders did not break for donald trump. That will not happen in this election. And if he has another poor debate performance on wednesday or if another videotape or audiotape leaks, i think steve would agree that the Republican Party would rather donald trump spend the rest of the good weather playing golf than campaigning for president no, he loves campaigning. [laughter] trish by the way, steve is one of his economic advisers i know. Trish steves in this for real, so i dont think he would agree with any of that, but you go ahead, steve. Look, i will say this for chris point, the one area that worries me in terms of what happens on election day is theres no question hillary has a much better kind of machine. The democrats are much better at the game of politics about turning out voters. So thats going to neutralize a little bit, i think, these silent trump voters. But this is why you asked the question about the debate. If trump can really hit hillary hard on the fact and he got a little bit of this in the last debate, you cant trust a single word she says. All she does is talk, but theres never any action from the democrats. They have talked about balancing the budget for 25 years, securing the border, getting jobs back, helping the middle class, and they never do it. Trish to that point, you think about some of these quotes that have come out via wikileaks. Here she is talking about wall street or talking in one of her wall street speeches, this is at the Goldman Sachs summit back in 2013, and she says, gentlemen, theres a big disconnect and a lot of confusion right now, so im not interested in turning the clock back or pointing fingers. Shes talking about 08 and whether or not shes going to go after those big banks, i am interested in figuring out how we can chart a better way forward. You know, thats an example. And then, you know, there are other examples as well, chris, where she basically says shes not for an increase in the minimum wage. And she goes on to say part of the problem with the political situation too is that we have such a bias against people who are less successful and or have complicated lives. Shes basically saying to those bankers, i understand you, im on your side, and yet, you know, when shes out in the public sphere, we hear something very, very different. So that oohs that trust issue. How does she overcome it . You know, its hard when youve been in the public eye for 30 years not to have a position on every single issue thats ever come up. And what shes got to point at is, look, my opinions have evolved just like trish yeah, but this is 2013. I mean, its not like it was ten years ago. You know, if you want to look at every single word that she said, youre going to find multiple views on a variety of positions. Donald trump has had multiple views on a variety of positions in the last 18 months trish so is she for or against wall street . Heres the point, trish trish is she foror against . She is for wall street as it can help improve the lives of everyday americans. She was a senator from new york, and in new york we understand the value of wall street, but we dont want to see wall street be able to do whatever it wants and cause a financial meltdown trish okay, steve. Absolutely shes for it. I think the reason these emails are so devastating to hillary, its not that shes changed her mind on issues which, youre right, she has a different position every day. Its that she tells what this is indicating, trish, is shes telling one group of people, her donors, one thing, and then the next day telling the voters another thing. Trish i get it. Yeah, its like tell we what i want to hear, essentially. Yeah. Trish shes programming for her audience, whoever that audience may be. And one of the things weve also learned in some of those Podesta Emails is her own staff often didnt really know what she stood for or where she was on issues. Andso that, you know, makes it once again an issue of how do you trust her, what does she really think, and this will come into question, of course, likely in the debate as well i doubt it. I think that, i think trish chris. This election is not about her anymore. [laughter] well, weve got to make it about her and the economy trish, we havent talked about that for weeks. Trish i know, the economy its the economy, stupid, indeed. Fbi director james comey blasting the liberal narrative that theres an epidemic in our country right now where Police Officers are unfairly targeting black people. He says theres absolutely no proof this is the case. This is the director of the fbi. Maybe president obama should listen to one. Watch. Americans believe that because those are the videos that they see. Over and over and over again. Each video becomes further proof of an epidemic nationwide police brutality. Americans actually have no idea whether the number of black people or brown people or white people being shot by police is up, down or sideways. They have no idea of these things because we have no idea of these things. Trish comey says this false narrative is actually making it much harder for cops to do their jobs. This is something that heather mac donald, the author of war on cops, has been saying forever. Heather, now, finally, the fbi actually coming out and i was joking, did he not get the memo . Because this administration has basically been saying the opposite of what we just heard from james comey. Well, comey is a hero. This is actually the third time, trish, that he has warned about the false narrative, and every time he gets slapped down by president obama whos unwilling to admit that proactive policing saves lives. And comey this time is now warning not just about the fact that crime is going up in this country because officers are backing off of proactive policing, hes also warning the nation that recruiting has basically come to a halt. Trish nobody wants to take that chance. Nobody wants to become a Police Officer and immediately be deemed a racist by the highest office of the land and to face the rue nation of your career if ruination of your career. And were lowering standards. Comey is absolutely right about this. Black lives are being taken, but more importantly, what president obama and Hillary Clinton have been saying about police and the criminal Justice System for the last two years undercuts the very legitimacy of our civilization. Trish irresponsible. You look at the wikileaks emails, and theres apparently one in which podesta is suggesting, hillarys campaign manager, that, in fact, it would be better if the San Bernardino terrorist had been a white man which, you know, if, in fact, these emails are proven to be true, it really seems, heather, as though they are looking at everything through a political lens. In other words, theyre looking at every particular be situation in terms of how it can be exploited politically which tells me that when it comes to these police incidents, they are also doing exactly that. Its all politics . Well, its politics, but its also identity politics. Its also looking at things through a racial lens. And, again, fbi comey has been just fabulous in pushing back against this and saying everything the public thinks it knows about Police Shootings and race from the liberal media, from black lives matter movement, its all false. Reverse it, and you get the truth. Trish so there have been studies on this. I mean, there was the harvard study, for example, that actually looked at this on a numbersbynumbers basis and found, actually, blacks arent being killed in a disproportionate number. That was only one of four studies that have come out this year alone. This is kind of mind blowing, trish, because it works so against the false narrative that weve all been brainwashed about. But, in fact, officers take longer to decide to shoot an armed black suspect than an armed white suspect, and theyre less likely to shoot unarmed blacks than whites. The policing today is driven by crime, and unless were willing to have an honest discussion about the astronomical rates of victimization in inner city communities, were going finish. Trish people dont want to have that conversation because, to your point, identity politics, you just make excuses. Maybe if the government would just, you know, give a little more money or hand out a little bit more, then somehow the crime would disappear . Weve spent trillions on inner city reclamation. Policing is the best solution short of fathers, twoparent families raising young black males and young white males, i mean, families breaking down. Led coalition is advancing towards iraqs second largest city which was seized by the terror group back this june 2014. The operation is being touted as a, quote, decisive moment in the campaign to defeat isis. Fourstar retired general and fox news military analyst general jack keane joins me now with his thoughts on how its going right now. General, good to see you. Whats your assessment of what we know thus far . Well, pretty much going as planned, trish. This is phase one, and by that i mean the kurds, the peshmerga, theyre encircling the city, taking towns and villages in the north and the east portion of mosul. The iraqi army and the sunni tribal force and some of the members of the shia militia are coming in from the south and doing the very same thing. Isis is trying to stop some of that by inflicting casualties using truck suicide bombs, but our forces have are expecting that. This phase will be successful, and then the second and decisive phase will be the iraqi army led by their counterterrorism unit that was so successful in fallujah and also in ramadi assisted by the sunni tribal force will enter be the city center and take the city block by block. And this will certainly be the toughest part of the operation. Trish okay. So give me a sense of timing. How long do you think you say this first part of the mission will be successful. How long will it take, in your view, general . We dont know for sure, but it should take a few weeks to complete the encirclement and take the tow and cities and then stage themselves with logistics, infrastructure and other things that they need to complete the fight. Trish okay. Inside the city there are two variables that we dont have the answers to. One is will isis actually defend the city. They have not truly defended a city since they lost kobani on the Syrian Border because the losses were staggering to them. What they have done is fought for a while and then permitted the majority of forces to exit. The iraqi army is leaving the western part of the city open for that very thing, inviting them at some point under pressure to exit. The second thing, trish, is the people themselves. They welcomed isis because the disunity and separation they had from the maliki government, but under the tyranny of isis these last twoplus years, life has been really harsh. We dont know how many of the sunnies will support isis. We think most of them will not, but that also is a variable that could lengthen the campaign. Trish general, let me just ask you, look, its been a couple years. Why has it taken us this long to respond like this . Because we started out with 300 advisers. We are now over 6500 and some other enabling capabilities. We refused to put together a Campaign Plan from beginning which our military has the capability to do and say what will it take to retake the territory lost. What is the size of the force we need, how many advisers and trainers and what other enablers to we need to do that. We said from the outset, thats probably about 10,000 forces. And the administration refuse to come to refused to come to grips with that, and theyve made 11 incremental changes since that first one of 900 advice e 300 advisers.
