Were going to ask me how i was going to spend my birthday. Yeah, they didnt really want to ask that what reporters really wanted to know not like last year. The show starts right now. We are all back together again. It is so nice to see you, anna, clayton. Nice to see you; welcome back. Rick got hurt last week. We showed you the video. We were teasing it all morning long he we were going to be inline skating, but at the end of the show rick had a disaster and he is still recovering. More dangerous show than people realize. It almost got really dangerous yesterday on the floor of the house of representatives. A lot of rolling back and forth. Have you watched the political theater unfolding in washington, arguably one of the worst congresses in modern American History. The 114th congress. The do Nothing Congress as its being labeled right now. Members of congress were coming back it to washington trying to get Speaker Boehner to actually hold a vote on the house floor on immigration. They made it a little bit more this immigration bill. Tom making a speech on the floor on friday. Listen in the background as Speaker Pelosi gets so fired up about what he is saying that she starts yelling at him. Listen. You know something that i find quite interesting about the other side . Under the leadership of the former speaker and under the leadership of their former leader, when in 2009 and 2010, they had the house, the senate, and the white house, and they knew this problem existed, they didnt have the strength to go after it back then, but now were trying to make a political issue out of it now it is true. I did the research on it. You might want to try it you might want to try it, madam leader. Do the research on it do the research. Did i it thats one thing that you dont do. Of course, she doesnt have a microphone on so dont get to hear her yelling at him. Her spokeswoman is says that she was trying to remind the congressman marino, hey, we had the wherewithal to pass the dream act until comprehensive bipartisan Immigration Reform as she says. But, and she also, her spokesperson also said that the congressman apologized to pelosi, the congressman now saying no, i didnt apologize and i dont intend to. Here is what you missed on the rest of it, the actual interruption and the chase down. Apparently i missed the right nerve. New york is recognized. There she is. Just wait main. She is unleashed. Now, you can tell that pelosi is mad, obviously so mad that she is chasing him with her finger the stuff of which nightmares are made, at least for me. The point here is that her dog barks. She is mad because what he said is fundamentally true in its essence. Weigh are finding out now, no one is pretending anymore. The Democratic Partys leadership is flat out for illegal immigration. They are have come out of the closet on that question in the last two weeks. They get mad when you play it out because the truth does hurt. She says pretty hurtful things to him on a personal level calling him insignificant any cant as as as he was driving home yesterday he wrote this on twitter, representative pelosi called me an insignificant person on the floor of the house. I will ponder that for a while driving to williamsport, tonight. Of course, i will be driving myself with no staff or security. Im just a country lawyer who worked in a bakery until he was 30 so maybe im not significant enough to question the former speaker. So he is not going to be flying back to his district in a military jet at public speak like pelosi did when she was speaker . Massive security revenue that pushes other people out of the way so she can get the best parking space . I live there. I watch this. Its shocking. When they shut the whole streets down. Its unbelievable so she can get to lunch . Those were the fireworks that you saw on the floor there last night. They did come up with a vote the house passed. 694 supplemental bill to try to help out the border with more National Guard troops on the ground, with helping the humanitarian crisis as far as shelter and taking care of these kids while they are there and getting them back swiftly. But, is this going to matter anyway . The senate is on vacation already. So, john boehner has come forward and said the president needs to put politics aside, call the senate back and do something about this. But just before this vote even happened yesterday, the president called a press conference and said this. Without Additional Resources and help from congress, were just not going to have the resources we need to fully solve the problem. That means while they are out on vacation, im going to have to make some tough choices to meet the challenge, with or without congress. The president also in that same press conference said that, look, this is just a ceremonial vote in the first place. Speaker boehner didnt want to actually hold the vote in the first place. The president saying this is just ceremony. They know im not going to pass it they know i will veto this bill as it a cross our desk. 600 million Border Security paul tri sum. It wasnt for Border Security. He wanted to pay off the countries who are using the United States as a relief valve to solve the problems in central america. They are happy to send a lot of their people here at our expense. But the core problem be is the amnesty that the president offered to immigrants under the age of 18. Once you get here, you are fine, they said. They responded irrationally as people do to incentives. They came here. That remains unchanged. Im going to offer amnesty to everybody unilaterally. Thats what theyre discussing at the white house. Publicly saying yesterday at the podium this is hypothetical because of republicans because now they are suing me for using executive action. Now they are demanding that i use executive action to stop the border flowed i think this is another example of the separation of powers being challenged by this white house, the executive branch has way more power than the founders expected and thats scary. Talk about a perfect example of this principle in action. The cia has admitted that its operatives. Of course cia under the executive branch under the control of the white house. Spied on members of the United States senate. They used fake ideas to log into an email exchange to an online classified exchange between congress and the cia. And spy on senators. It is so amazing. Its unbelievable. Senate Intelligence Committee members, two democrats coming out yesterday saying its time for the cia director john brennan to step down. That he has lost the confidence. Mark udall led the charge calling for the resignation. Is he out of florida. Then had you martin line democratic also calling for him to resign that they have lost confidence in the leader. But then you had the white house really coming out pretty quickly. I wonder if this is going to come back to bite them in the rear. Josh ernest came out and said we have full confidence in our cia director john brennan and then you also, Dianne Feinstein who is on the senate Intelligence Committee, one of the chair women on the subIntelligence Committee coming out and saying this is great. This was fantastic, honest, good first step, honest told us they were spying. The white house defended them. He works for them. This is the president s personal intelligence gathering agency. Thats the cia is it gathers intel for the president. They are spying on the congress . Why would the president be against that . I mean, this is the kind of thing that you would think republicans would be up in arms about. Maybe they will be and it wont be a moment too soon. Not just something thats illegal. Its unconstitutional violating the separation of powers there. You know, they are supposed to be investigating them. How can they do that if they are being spied on in the first place. While the president was giving this press conference and asked about this very subject, he changed the subject to himself. You know, he has come to be known as the president who likes the applause, he said why dont ask you me about my birthday. Listen to this. [several people speaking] i thought you guys were going to ask me how i was going to spend my birthday. [shouting] what happened to the happy birthday thing . Happy birthday. Democrats have called for the resignation i will address two points. I will. Hold on, guys. Come on. Oh, you you are asking me hard questions. I want to talk about my birthday. Last year he got away with that he actually got away with that last year. Last year . The last five years. They worship him like a god and all of a sudden the act has worn thin and theyre annoyed. Who likes to remind people like children, right . Hey my birthday is coming up. My birthday is coming up. You have seen my birthday list . They have loved him from the beginning, the press corps has just petted him and loved him and adored him. Given him a pass on everything and he has always had contempt for them. Doctor, thanks a lot for joining us this morning. Do the rest of us have something to fear now that ebola will be in the continental United States . Its a very good question. I think that really, it all depends on the precautions that they are taking down at emery and the other hospitals that are going to be receiving these patients. In general the risk should be pretty low. The precautions that they are taking in terms of transporting the patients are such that the transmission rate is really low. Is there any chance that somebody may have contracted it from there then, boarded a plane, come here and not displaying any symptoms or incould incubation period that we audited to be concerned about that we are not paying attention to at the moment . Right, sure. So the incubation period is around anywhere from 5 to 121 days so, while it is possible that somebody could contract it there, board a plane and come here, the chances that it would spread are very slim. Its likely before this outbreak is done that we will probably see cases here in the u. S. Other than the two that are being transported here but the chance of them spreading past that is extremely small. We have heard about ebola for years. What exactly is it . What does it do . Ebola is a virus. A member of the members of the jury are merge members of the jury are hem are pretty much Central Africa until now. These two workers will be at elm morery in death rate n africa is so high because of lack of access to care and certain practices that they do there. They are sometimes reusing needles. The practices involve handling the body without any protective equipment and it can be transmitted even after death. So here they are going to be in complete isolation, essentially physical bubble own air supply those the virus is not transmitted through the air. Everyone is going to be wearing protective equipment to cover their skin, their eyes, their mouth so, that none of the bodily fluids that do transmit the virus can be transported to healthcare workers. The Research Done at emery, you know, during this process is they are trying to nurse these people back to health. Any other Communicable Diseases that we have Going Forward . Thats a good question. The protective equipment that they are going to be using the and the methods they are going to be using to protect patients are are useful for a variety of different viruses and certainly if there are outbreaks of other diseases patients need to be transported to the u. That means while they are out on vacation, im going to have to make some tough choices to meet the challenge. With or without congress. So is he overreaching . Here to debate it Jim PinkertonFox News Contributor and Ellen Rattner chief for fox news service. Good morning. Good morning. Im going to start with you. You know, passing 694milliondollar spending bill through the house is not going to mean anything unless it gets through the house senate. The president is going to issue executive order and give amnesty to 5 or 6 Million People. The the Washington Post makes that very clear. The president is in a rogue territory now of unconstitutional action. I think its a great challenge to the republican party, of course, and to the integrity of the constitution and to the United States. Jim, Everybody Knows that the president is not going to issue amnesty to five or 6 Million People. He is, and needs to take action that congress has not managed to take even though we are paying them to do it. Finally they took some yesterday. It really has taken a long while and it should have not have taken until yesterday to pass. The president has got to take action. Ellen, according to that article if you look at it yes, 11 million undocumented residents here at the moment. Significant portion of them possibly could be given amnesty. Do these folks have family members in the United States . Are they law abiding Illegal Immigrants . I mean, isnt that kind of an oxymoron in the first place illegal immigrant here illegally how can they be law abiding. If you are 7 or 8 years old and grown up in the United States. How are you supposed to say well, im an illegal immigrant. I mean, this country is built on immigration. And but the point is the president has to do something because congress isnt doing a thing. The coming is divided. Very clear. Look, the president doesnt want a compromise. He has never wanted to sit down with republicans on their. He wants to take executive action and frankly, its the democrats in the Obama White House talking about impeachment all the time. They bring it up every occasion. The president do something so brave and courageous that those mean republicans are going to impeach him. Msnbc mentions impeachment four times more often than fox does. Msnbc being the mouth piece for the white house. They want to provoke a constitutional crisis they think this will help motivate their base in november. They are clearly provoke ago crisis here and i think they going to get one. I dont think they are demoralized at all. Impeachment or not the democrats are raising a lot of money right now because people are afraid of a do Nothing Congress. Ellen and jim. Thank you for your time. Liberating not to hear the constant chime of a new message. I deleted twitter and instagram entirely. [gasp] of course, nobody even noticed i was gone. Brings up one of the many reasons why some of us are scared town plug. Will anyone care if we just vanish . I cared. Where is joanna. Here to tell us what happened during her tech timeout week is tech columnist for the wall street journal is joanna stern. Im here. I didnt vanish. I love your writing and the stuff you put out social media and we have been friends for years. How difficult was it as a tech columnist unplug leave me alone for the week . I didnt go cold turkey. I dont know if i could do it i was thinking i might be shaking and break out in sweats and end up in a want who. I didnt go cold turkey i set up limits for myself. The whole point for me is to stop doing this aimless. Mindless looking at twitter and facebook and instagram. I felt like if im going to do a eviction. I want to do a vacation from that kind of stuff as well. We found recent studies that have actually shown that kids are better at disconnecting. That adults are the ones who are just constantly mindlessly scrolling through our devices but kids are actually looking now at their parents saying wait a second, why cant you put down your device . Were the ones with the problem. Its not the kids. Exactly. Thats what i actually did. I set Parental Controls on myself. I decided to use the tech i was using to set up barriers for myself. So i said, okay, im only going to use my phone 30 minutes in the morning because we all know that 30 minutes can quickly turn into two hours of looking at stuff. I said im going to set to t. For 30 minutes and downloaded parental control apps and set them for myself. Instead of completely getting rid of the technology, you used the technology to limit yourself. Yes. First setting up these timers what kind of apps did you use for that. I used the technology against myself. Rose up. Inside some of the devices you can set timers for 30 minutes . Use serrie on your iphone. I better get offline. Point out two alps one called time lock in the app. Store and another one called moment actually tracks how long you are using your phone. Try moment to see how much time you are actually wasting. Disabled notifications. All those dinging and pings bothering you. How did you do that . Went into the settings, took those off. At first i was lake why is my phone not telling me i have a email or a tweet. Very nerveracking at first then i sort of liked the silence it was good to live without it i also deleted instagram and twitter one whole day. I lived to tell the story. Thats unbelievable. I love this idea, too. You brought back some of the analog, watches and clock radios. You actually listened to the radio . I didnt go that far, right . The radio did wake me up in the morning though. Because the idea that i always had my phone right by the side of my bed and its the first thing i pick up in the morning. I hear the alarm and then the alarm turns to email and all those other apps brought out the sony dream machine clock radio. Used that in the morning. Read an actual book. Just decided not going to use my kindle or kindle app. On my ipad. Use a real paper book with pages i dont have to swipe. Bottom line for us for the week. Can people do this at home . Is it that simple. I think it is if i can do it, someone who is constantly on my phone. People should say i should have it glued to my hand. If i can do it i think people can do it. Better off for it you actually enjoyed your vacation. I did. I got a tan. Joanna stern watch all her videos and writings at the wall street journal. Get back online. Good to see you. Bass pro, you will see it in a minute. There it is is look at that. Like i said, you never know what you are going to get here. A fox news alert. We have been talking about it for a while now. A deadly ebola virus about to arrive on u. S. Soil, the first of two infected aid workers in liberia reportedly arrive today at the air base in that let tax georgia. New details this is not a military evacuation going on. A private gulf stream medevac plane that can only take one of the infected patients at a time. Maybe you were out of seeing a movie. You probably werent focused on what congress was doing. The dog and pony show down in washington, d. C. The house of representatives finally managed to pass a 694milliondollar border bill but not without some big drama unfolding. Republicans have been furious lately that democrats have been calling them out saying you are not doing anything. You are not doing anything. Thats when com thoma marino took to the floor. You know what i find quite interesting about the other side . Under the leadership of the former speaker and under the leadership of their former leader, when in 2009 and 2010, they had the house, the senate, and the white house, and they knew this problem existed, they didnt have the strength to go after it back then, but now were trying to make a political issue out of it now. It is true. I did the research on it you might want to try it you might want to try it, madam leader. Do the research on it do the research. I did it. Thats one thing that you dont do. So he pointed the finger and said you didnt do your research on this. Yes, this is something that you guys should have done a couple of years ago. It really struck a nerve with her. Right . She comes out wagging her finger, chases him down, completely becomes unhinged. Watch how it unfolds. Apparently i hit the right nerve. New york is recognized. That, of course, nancy pelosi at the bottom of your screen crossing the aisle to wag her finger and to say that fasted the dream act and done other things. Hard to hear her was interrupting her. Thats a nightmare scenario nancy pelosi chasing you across the floor of the house of representatives. Dream act offering amnesty to Illegal Immigrants under 18 is one of the reasons that we are having this surge at the border right now. By the way, this has been going on since 2008 bln going on for 50 years but dream act exacerbated made it it the law of the land people show up get a court date and never have to leave at that point. That has been inducement for illegal immigration ever since. Two lines to change that law. Leadership from the president could change that law. Thats he sh extreme. The president said yesterday, you are extremist if you do that. You are a hater if you do that they are basically out of the closet in favor of illegal immigration because it helps them. Helps donors because it brings cheap labor. A hurt dog bites. You saw that from nancy pelosi and probably her people knew that this video was going to be making headlines, right . They came forward her spokesperson said that marino had apologized and she accepted is the apology. He came forward and said no i didnt apologize. During that exchange there mrs. Pelosi said some very hurtful thing. He she called me insignificant person on the floor of the house. I will ponder that for a while driving to williamsport tonight. Of course, i will be driving myself with no staff or security. And i am just a country lawyer who worked in a bakery until he was 30. Maybe im not significant enough to question the former speaker. Ouch. Whoa. All right. Also in washington amazing week in washington, washington. You heard executive branch, the white house is getting too powerful. It you if you are looking for example of that. Look no further than this. The cia has admitted to spying on members of members of congress. Congressman investigating war on terror. Cia actors assumed fake identity and spied on members of the senate. John brennan has apologized for that there are calls in white house. The white house not surprisingly is defending him. He works for obama. Intelligence gatherer so he supports him. People that called for the democrats calling for his resignation. Mark udall was furious, computers his own computers had been gone through by the cia. A democrat calling for him to resign. Probably come down for the more senior democrats to call for his resignation like Patrick Leahy on the committee. Isnt this a trend here in the nsa is supposed to be spying on foreigners. The other countries are supposed to be the focus of our intelligence gathering efforts. Not american citizens. They are spying on you and me and now members of congress . Talk about a perversion. How can we have this type of intrusion. President obama yesterday was trying to address this in front of the press conference yesterday. Listen. In the immediate aftermath of 9 11, we did some things that were wrong we did a whole lot of things that were right. But we tortured some folks. We did things that were contrary to our values. Just some folks. Just some people we rounded up having breakfast at cracker barrel. Just some folks. What is that . Who talks like that . Is this guy really the president . We tortured some folks. What are you talking about . A couple of other democrats Dianne Feinstein and mentioned the White House Press secretary josh earnest coming out. We are thankful that he came forward. This is honest, this is good stuff. Fixing things. And he has our full confidence. Of course he does. Is he spying on your adversaries in the congress. On the other hand, we had liz cheney on Sean Hannity Show last night. She reacted saying this is despicable. You have got crises around the world and he is expending more time, more energy, more passion, more aggressive activity and targeting and going after patriots, heroes, cia officers and others who kept us safe after 9 11. He is he lying about what they did. He is slandering them. He went to cairo and did it in 20099. Today he did it from the podium of the oval office. S it a disgrace. Its despicable. He says he could have killed usama bin laden just before the september 11th terror attacks but he didnt. We know this because the new audio recorded on september 10th, 2001, surfaced just this week. Im just saying, you know, if i was usama bin laden, he is a very smart guy. I spent a lot of time thinking about him and i nearly got him once with. [ laughter ] i nearly got him. And i could have gotten i could have killed him, but i would have had to destroy a little town called kandahar in afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children and then i would have been no better than him, and so i didnt do it. Wow. Former cia officer Gary Bernsten led the agency. Gary, thanks for coming on. Good morning, tucker. They have lied about this for years. To me, to anyone who has ever asked turned down an opportunity to kill bin laden and now we know the truth. Are you shocked by this . Well, im not shocked at all. They had more than half a dozen opportunities to kill bin laden. Mike schurr, who ran that part of the Counter Terrorism center gave him many opportunities. I ran the branch that was the hezbollah branch there. And similarly, you know, bill clinton knew that the iranian government tried to kill 300 people at towers in 1996 and suppress that as well. It was a trend it wasnt just the al qaeda things. It was al qaeda and hezbollah and it was iran. This administration would not hold people to account and it it was afraid to act. Again, they have lied about it vigorously ever since. What do you make of the former president s formulation if i had caused civilian casualties, killing bin laden, i would have been no better than he. What do you think of that . I think its a ridiculous statement. They always want to limit casualties. We want to target specifically. We dont want innocences to die. In that particular case he was talking about. Which mr. Schurr and the Bin Laden Group teed up for him. There wouldnt have been civilian casualties. He was in an isolated area. So unfortunate. Consistent with the way the Clinton Administration operated during that period of time. Is anybody going to ask Hillary Clinton who is basically running for president on her husbands achievements while president , she is pretty open on b. That ask her about this . Is this a decision that you agree with Hillary Clinton . Would you do this again . Do you think its a fair question to ask her . In the end we paid a very very high price for. This we had 3,000 people dead. Do you think the Obama Administration is learning anything from this mistake . I dont think they are learning its important to talk about the clinton situation because its a reflection of what is happening right now. Isis has over a billion dollars. It has land massed three times the size of lebanon. It has a thousand safned its people that are foreign passports. A number of them have american passports. The Obama Administration needs to look at that and recognize that this is going to happen again if we do not act to defend our interests. Its unbelievable. New show explores how far parents can go basically thousand overbearing some of them can be in raising their children. Here is a clip. Take a drink of your lemonade. Tears are not going to help. You do you want to be called a baby. You are hurting fetal. We will put him in therapy if we have to. Like exposing someone to ebola. I feel sorry for them. Spoiled brat. This isnt normal. This isnt normal. New show extreme parenting aired on bravo it follow as group of families as sort of all have extreme versions of the way they think that parenting should unfold. For instance. A woman who breast feeds her school aged child. And refuses to it vaccinate. Crazy and refuses to vaccinate the kids also. Like the mom on game of threatens to who is like brees feeding 10yearold. Family who is very adventurous and want to teach their kids to be minute minimal lists. They dont live in a home but in their cars. I kind of like the minimalists. I think parents ought to have a lot of latitude. Obviously an awful lot of latitude in deciding how to raise their children just because something is unpopular doesnt mean its wrong or bad. On the other hand, i usually would stop Breast Feeding by 7. I do. The cut off is 7. Traditional on that. Kids 12 is tooled. Some too old. The gay couple in los angeles who they refuse to like leave their toddler ching sighted even for like a second. Just constantly hovering over their child. What are the shrink bills piling up here in the future . Its an interesting question. Thinking about this because, you know, a little bit later in the show we have the story about the mom in port saint lucy florida let her 7yearold wander off to the park she regularly lets him do that some mom saw the kid walking to the park and said where is she mom . She has been charged with neglect. 4,000 bond she had to post. Put her in handcuffs. For letting your kid walk to the park . I mean, look, america its so funny. As we become more. Having kids without being married is the ultimate negligence in my opinion. We seem to be more tight about kids. Overbearing way bad for them. Having watched a lot of kids grow up since im 45 now, you can tell who is going to screw up. Little kids with bad parents not going to turn out well it doesnt. Judgmental about the way. You see every outing that everybody goes on and every time somebody gets potty trained the whole world knows about it it child is is so different. So maybe these extreme parenting methods actually work. I had a friend in high school who when she would get in trouble her dad would make her do duck waddles and pushups and crazy things around the house. Whats the secret sneaking into an old nfl stadium. Wear a tie and pretend you work there a brave 49ers fan taking this photo outside of candle stick park. He said quote its like heaven. Anna. All right, tucker, thanks. Baltimore ravens star ray rice finally apologizing to his wife publicly five months after he was charged with assault. Seen as you see in this video dragging her out of an elevator in casino in atlantic city. One thing that i wanted to do today was, you know, apologize to my wife. And, you know, i just replay over in over in my head thats not me. My actions were excusable. He was suspended for two games but some say that is not enough. Randal hill joins us. Morning. Because this has been in headlines for quite a while we have gone down the road and talked about Domestic Violence and how terrible that is no matter how you slice it lets talk now about does the punishment fit the socalled crime or what allegedly happened here . Two games is, that too lien jent . No. I dont know what actually happened inside that elevator. So, you know, maybe the nfl has some other clues as to whats going on. I mean, you are talking to a pure investigator because im a federal agent and also a former Police Officer. But bottom line is, if you can deduce from what ray rice said, and that was all the evidence that was there, i dont think that the punishment fit the crime. I think there should have been more game suspension and definitely some outreach to Domestic Violence issues. But, you know, stephen a. Smith got it wrong. I mean, he absolutely got it wrong. He should have explained a little bit more as to what he really meant. Bottom line is, no one should touch anyone. A woman, a true woman doesnt touch a man and a truman definitely does not hit a woman. As you say, if it is indeed too lenient. I mean, he lost ray rice lost a little over half a Million Dollars for the suspensions here which blows my mind that these players are making this much money in the first place. What type of story does this really paint about professional athletes and their inconvincibility. Thats the wave that they seem to the young people who look up to them. Its absolutely a travesty and reminds me of the jayz situation. Its sending a bad message. Domestic violence is an issue and goes both ways. Definitely shouldnt put your hands on a a woman. As a woman you shouldnt have to put your hands on man. True individuals who are trying to develop a relationship, you know, should get along, should talk about things. We even had classes when i was in the nfl, if there is a Domestic Violence issue, make sure you call the police because of the sword definitely works both ways. Randal hill, former nfl player, thanks so much for your time today. Thank you. 48 manipulates after the hour. First the irs targeted Tea Party Groups. Now churches . Just conservative churches. A florida mom arrested for letting her 7yearold son walk to the park alone. Down in port st. Lucie, florida. Now shes facing charges for child neglect. I let him go up there and play. I give him a cell phone so i can check on him regularly and he can call me if theres any emergency. They had me in handcuffs and told him after he took him out of the cop car, to go to his room. He said mommy im sorry, i wanted to go to the park. Were seeing more and more parents being turned into criminals because other people dont like the way they are parenting. Some even facing prison time. Is that fair . First of all, shes handcuffed, handcuffed for neglect. First of all, what is neglect. Was that too far . Was it too far . You know what is neglect, mom crying to mommy im sorry i went to play. Is the child being put in some form of harm. Whether its not getting enough food, education, physical neglect. It doesnt seem like any of the evidence here that the mom was doing anything wrong. It seems like the damage to the child was done when he to see his mother in handcuffs. Port st. Lucie, florida, not exactly the crime capital of the world. He wants to go to the park. Another mom sees him walking by himself to the park. Says where is your mom. On the stupid parenting meter this comes between putting your child in front of the drapes with a pack of matches and park the suv out. You cant let a 7yearold walk to the park. Bad people can get in. I respectfully and vehemently disagree. It was normal. Heres the difference. The crime rate in brooklyn, new york was through the roof. We had all kinds of freedom at a young age. Nowadays yes, i know what john is saying parents allow children said criminal act . Somebody put in handcuffs and liberty taken away . You cant legally let your 7yearold sit in your house alone at that age. States have guidelines. In florida its 12. You cant leave a child in the safety of your own home under the age of 12. How do you push him out the door and let him walk half a mile to a park. Hes going somewhere he knows. Hes been there before. How many children its a very low crime area. How many children have been killed in an automobile. How many children are killed choking while eating a food. Its because adults are behind the wheel. If you want to tell me the mom should have gotten a talking to. Putting handcuffs in her like she robbed someone. Theres a test one should pass before you procreate. I dont i i ever thanked a cop who pulled me over. Weve been talking about it for a while. Deadly ebola virus is set to arrive on american soil at any moment. He captioned the pic, short sleeve button downs are coming back but health care has always been in style. Governor huckabee is here. Who did you think that was . I thought it was tucker carlson. He had thats duave, debonair look. I thought that was tucker. Governor youre here on an interesting morning. Theres a lot of news in washington. We thought there would be in the summer doldrums. Yesterday a flury of activity on capitol hill. Members of the house of representatives where Speaker Boehner wasnt going to hold a vote, rushing back to the capitol please hold a vote. They pass this border bill in the house. Going to hand it over to the senate but then crickets in the senate because harry reid and the senate had gone home. The biggest i think point of amazement is president obama goes to the podium in the White House Press room, surprise announcement on friday that way its hard to react to it. He goes there and basically says i may have to go it alone because Congress Wont act. Congress cant act when his democratic leader harry reid disappears and takes the senate with him. The house is in business. They pass a bill. But obama has said its still their fault even though they passed something and even though hes like a dictator and says if they dont pass exactly what i want i wont sign it. I wish being an executive it was so easy you tell people in the legislature what you wanted and they fold over like a cheap tent in a windstorm. He doesnt Want Congress to act. No. He gets a lot out of whipping the department base into a friendy and saying the republicans are bigots because they are not for Immigration Reform. And then bringing in amnesty. He knows he cant do it. I dont think he can get through that the senate even with democrats in charge. I dont think company. A large part of that is because theres a rising anger among the American People as they see the flood of these immigrants coming in. No attempt to heck them out. Just open the borders, let them come. Spreading them all over the country. You got democratic governors who are unhappy about it. This is blowing up in his face like a cigar. On the republican side why is there disunity among republicans. What are you hearing from the republicans you talk to. You know, frankly theres a big difference between the republicans who want cheap labor and republicans who want to make sure that there are jobs for a lot of working class americans. That is not only a philosophical division. Theres a lot who say we want cheap workers. We want to make sure business can have the highest profits they can and they do that by cheap labor. Thats not a good long term idea because it keeps a lot of americans who would go to work out of work because a lot of americans are not going to work for nothing. If you work under the table youll get paid less. I want to switch gears and talk about americas top spy, cia director john brennan. There have been calls for him to step down. A couple of Democratic Senators saying this probe thats come out and shows that you are essentially spying on us and they are saying hey its time to go, hes apologized for this. What do you say . Apologies are fine. Its like if you kmat crime, im so sorry. Doesnt mean youre off the hook. I want to be careful not to call john brennan a criminal. But when you violate the separation of powers as was violated by having the executive branch spy on the legislative branch thats a serious breach of the Constitutional Trust that should exist. John brennan should go. You had two democrats who say that. God bless them for having the integrity of really their own constitutional principles to say that. But he ought to be glad that all hes being asked to do is walk the plank rather than, you know, to be cuffed and stuffed over this. But heres why im confused. The cia spies on senators. Yeah. Thats beyond dispute and only two of them call for his resignation. Why the impulse to defend that. Its indefensible. Same reasoning you have democrats who defend what the president does by completely running the country by executive order as if hes a monarch rather than a president. Would you call him a liar. Lets look at some video from march. Is john brennan a liar. When the facts come out on this a lot of people who are claiming that theres been this tremendous spying and monitoring and hacking will be proved wrong. So was he lying or does he simply not know . If he doesnt know how does the cia director not know what members of the cia are doing the senate. I can believe he didnt know that. If he didnt know that then he still has responsibility for it happening under his watch. Either he lied or didnt know. Hes either dishonest or incompetent. Either case he should have to go. If youre incompetent you should be fired. If youre not being honest and lost your integrity you got to be fired. Either way john brennan needs be relieved of duty. Video came out of former president bill clinton a day before september 11th that rattled our nation saying that he a clear shot at Osama Bin Laden and didnt take it. Listen to this. Im just saying, you know, if i was Osama Bin Laden, hes a very smart guy. Ive spent a lot of time thinking about him. And i nearly got him once. I nearly got him. And i could have got him, i could have killed him, but i would have to destroy a little town called kandahar in afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children and then i would have been no better than him. And so i didnt do it. The most silly thing about that when you hear the laughter in the background. I realize this is before 9 11. Theres an irony there. I dont blame bill clinton for that. I dont even blame the audience for that. Think about how they must have felt when a few hours later they were watching as every american was the twin towers fall and thinking a few hours ago i was chuckling about this guy and now look what he was capable of doing. It makes clinton look bad but lets be fair to him and, you know, im going to be stretching myself out here. But nobody predicted the magnitude of 9 11. Nobody. George bushs administration had been in power now for nine months. Did they have a shot at him . I dont know. If they they didnt take it. Nobody thought something of the magnitude of 9 11 was possible. Because think about how shocked we were. This was not like well we saw this coming. No, we didnt. Thats the reason it was such a gut punch to this country. We didnt see it. Totally right and fair. Thank you for being fair. The thing that bothers me about what the former president said was the last line, the phoney moral equivalent between the United States and bin laden. If we encouraged civil casualties were no better than bin laden. Theres no symmetry between what bin laden did and we do. We put it in the form we have allow and sense of propriety. Sometimes people get killed. Its on the order to prevent hundreds thousands more to be killed. Was it a good thing . No. A necessary thing. History will say it was. Tucker asked it earlier of Gary Bernsten a former cia officer on the show about Hillary Clinton. If shes running on his coattails for many years and her accomplishments are his accomplishments really is it a fair question to ask her on the campaign trail about that incident . I think its a fair question but her answer should not be the sole reason by which people say ill vote for or against Hillary Clinton. She cant be responsible for everything her husband did any more he can be responsible for what she did. She has plenty to answer for during her tenure as secretary of state and that is a record that she cant say well that was my husbands decision. When were talking about benghazi, when were talking about the russian reset, when were talking about our failures in syria, our complete collapse with israel, our disaster with egypt. She owns that. She has to answer for that. It makes a lot of difference. This is a dangerous world were living in and it was made more dangerous by her policies and that of her boss, barack obama. Much more dangerous. Real quick 8 00 tonight the huckabee show will be on. Marsha blackburn will be on with us. She will share about the inside dealings of this immigration bill. And a guest who will tell me why ive been gun fair about the situation in gaza. Ill say lets see. Debate tonight on the huckabee show. That will be good. Thank you. Weits not justt wed be fabuilding jobs here,. Its helping our community. Siemens location here has just received a major order of wind turbines. It puts a huge smile on my face. Cause im like, this is what we do. the fact that iowa is leading the way in wind energy, im so proud, like, its just amazing. The irs has a new target, the pulpit. The agency could be coming to a church near you and you can thank the atheists for it. The group called freedom from religion organization. The irs has decided to keep a closer. I on nonprofit religious groups monitoring sermons and homilies for rngs content. Joining me now is former department of justice attorney Jay Christian adams. What is it about threat. Youve seen this in the last year time and time again, liberal politician, liberal groups asking the irs to crush organizations they dont agree with. What is that . Well, it goes way back in history. The left always goes after religion. They dont like religion. Its why the freedom from Religion Foundation is trying to convert theology inpolitics. They want irs to view any positions they take on theology such as abortion, homosexual marriage all these different issues they want them to convert the politics and say hey thats not theology thats political you shouldnt be talking like that. They want to use the irs as a weapon against christianity, against faith. The iron injuries of course, if you watch any Democratic Campaign particularly in the south, in urban areas on the ground, like on election day, its churches that in many cases are paid in every case pretty much to get out the vote. Identify seen it personally many times. Its not those churches that are organs of the Democratic Party that are coming under greater scrutiny . No. The freedom from religion hates what the conservative wing stands for. They hate the things that people who go to more traditional churches, against things such as abortion stand for. Thats what they want to stamp up and shut people up about. Tucker, its not just about democrat republican. This is about believer versus nonbeliever. This is about using the power of government to go after faith. Thats what its about. Sure theres going to be churches in the south that help democrats but its a much bigger and far more Dangerous Campaign they are on. So i want to play a sound bite from dan barker the copresident of freedom from Religion Foundation on why they struck this deal with the irs. Here it is. If churches can get away with that then they become a Political Action committee thats not accountable, people can start pouring money into churches for political reasons to mobilize the vote and thats just not what the nonprofit irs law was intended to do. Ahha. As distinct from the freedom from Religion Foundation which is, apparently not engaging in politics here. But this is basically an assault on people of faith. This is what i said. He adp mitts what i charged him with. What they want to do is use the power of government just like they did against the tea party, tucker. Its the same thing. They want to turn belief in constitutional principles, belief in god into a political thing. They say thats political. You cant think like that. They want to use the irs to go after people who express their faith from the pulpit and urge action. Thats the important part. They want people who believe to shut up. They dont want people who believe to do anything about their theology. Thats why this is such a Dangerous Development in this country. Jay christian adams, so much going on in the world. Im grateful youre paying attention to things like this because we would miss them otherwise. Coming up, the science is in. Who lies more, men or women . The result could surprise you. Not really going to surprise. We have it anyway. Plus the wild, wild west comes back to life with season four of hell on wheels. Its here live. The gulfstream medevac plane is privately chartered plane that can only take one of the infected patients at a time and they are going to extreme measures to ensure the safety of the crew during the transport. Now it is bringing back these two americans who went to africa to help and are now on their way home after becoming victims themselves. The reason we are bringing these patients back to our facility, is because we feel they deserve to have the highest level of care offered for their treatment. Reporter now the latest outbreak of ebola in africa is the largest and most deadly on record. The initial symptoms present themselves as something akin to the flu and get significantly worse from there but theres no established treatment for ebola. At the same time its impossible to get from casual contact even with someone who is infected. Military families are uniquely thankful for many things, the legacy of usaa Auto Insurance can be one of them. If youre a current or former military member or their family, get an Auto Insurance quote and see why 92 of our members plan to stay for life. A. Hey everybody thanks for sharing your saturday with us. A recent survey of Small Business owners found that 33 were unable to fill open positions because they couldnt identify any qualified applicants and 43 said those Unfilled Positions were keeping their businesses from growing. We have the founder of United States continued service. And john gilliam to tell us how vets can come back and fill these jobs. Jonathan, one of the things weve seen over the last few months weve begun to explore is the gap between companies who say they want to hire vets and vets finding those companies and you say in particular Small Businesses are having a tough time finding veterans to employ. Right. Lets start off with Big Companies and the banks and all these people that have veteran programs. The biggest mistake they are making they are bringing veterans on and retraining them. Instead of recruiting veterans that have a specific skill maybe in hr. Maybe they worked in the Hr Department in afghanistan or iraq. Let them utilize those skills. How is the situation now from what youre seeing. Youre traveling the country trying to match veterans with companies and jobs. If you look at the Unemployment Rate its about 6 . Thats more than 638,000 unemployed veterans right now and we got tens of thousands more coming home. Will this situation get worse or improve . I think it will get worse. That reason, with the Large Businesses and also with the smaller businesses that are very pinpointed in what they do, veterans that come back that can do those skills are more likely to not go to those companies because its a risk going a smaller company. At least they think it is. Weve seen now hagerstown companies fold because of the way the economy is. So i think theres a risk no matter where you go but you have to look at the main things for veterans, especially, when you come home you need to look for a place youre comfortable with, that will utilize the skill that the government spontaneity lot of money training you on. I talked to a lot of ceos out there, major companies, especially in the energy sector, health care sector, technology sector. They tell me i would love to hire veterans i cant find them and also they dont have the correct skills. Youre telling me many of these veterans do have the skills. So where is the disconnect . I just think that theres a lack of understanding on the part of the private and public sectors and i think that the military veterans are not set up properly when they leave the military. We go through a program thats a check the box program, worthless program. I went through it. Didnt do anything for me when i got out. Every department whether its navy, former navy s. E. A. L. , navy, army they got these departments and they are telling me that this is working and youre saying its not working. The Transition Assistance Program doesnt do anything to set them up mentally, physically. It doesnt teach these veterans youre good at Crisis Management or task orientation. Those people can be hired for those things. New gave me a lot more work to do for the rest of year. Thank you so much. Well be following United States continued service. Well be in springfield, missouri this weekend if anybody wants to come out and train with us. Jonathan great to have you on the show. Ill send it over to you. Good job. Coming up on fox and Friends Weekend the top dog at cia caught spying on congress and democrats are calling for his resignation. Why is the white house standing by their man . A Washington State grandmother got a ticket for speeding. But instead of being angry at the cops, she actually sent a thank you note . Are you kidding me . Tanna balmer was on her way to see old faithful with her grandkids when she was stopped. When it came time to pay the fine, she slipped in this note. Officer mike nielson made it a good experience for my grandchildren by talking with them calmly and giving them stickers, he didnt leave me out and i got my very own sticker shock. Joining us now is that grandmother and her two grandkids. Good morning, guys. Thanks for being with us. Good morning. Good morning. So tanna, youre in the car, headed to Yellowstone National park. Its 75mileperhour speed limit, youre going 95 miles per hour, all of a sudden you see blue lights, tell us how it plays out. Okay, im had actually just looked at my speedometer and was like wow, i got a little high here. So we pulled over and the Police Officer walked up. And all of a sudden my little 4yearold, payson, she was a little nervous and worried i was going to go to jail. And i opened all the windows and he started talking to them. He put everybody at ease, he had a great attitude. Asked us where were going. And went back to the car. And got stickers and brought them little stickers and badges and so he was kind of good for them because it just calmed them down. And it probably calmed you down, too. Youre trying to set a good example for your grandkids and you get caught speeding. Im sure it was inadvertent, anyway. Taylen, you said the officer had Good Customer Service, is that right . Yes. Why did he have Good Customer Service . Because he was really kind. What did he give you . Stickers and badges. Stickers and badgers. Aw. And tina, i guess you own a restaurant and so theyve grown up around that. They said that you should actually hire this guy because of his Good Customer Service. Who do you think other Police Officers could learn from this guy who stopped you . Well i think that you know, theres so much bad publicity right now. And if you do something wrong, as a Police Officer, theres good and bad. The good ones out there are unappreciated. And i think it just maybe realize that when you pull somebody over, your attitude right away sets the tone. It certainly does. Well, thank you so much. And your grandkids are adorable. We appreciate your time today. Okay. No more speeding. Thank you. No. Cruise control is my new best friend. 56 minutes after the hour. Bye, kids, its called extreme parenting. Kids being punished by doing pushups and other physical activities. Is it necessary or does it go too far . We take a closer look. Then the president s press conference not turning out the way hed hoped. I thought that you guys were going to ask me how i was going to spend my birthday. Wheres my birthday cake. Reporters were really asking about what they really wanted to know. Straight ahead. Hey, everybody, good morning, today is saturday, the 2nd of august, 2014. The house manages to pass a border bill. But nancy pelosi apparently not happy with this. Apparently i hit the right nerve. What that congressman said to get her to cross the aisle. Literally. There she goes. At high speed. The top dog in the c. I. A. Caught spying on congress and lying about it. Now even democrats are calling for his resignation. So why is the white house standing by him . Well have details on the breaking story, coming up. And did you set your tivo, tucker, for this new show on extreme parenting . Its turning heads. Take a drink of your lemonade. Tears are not going to help you. Do you want to be called a baby . Put him in therapy if we have to. Wow. Is this the kind of parenting necessary . Or does it go too far . Fox friends hour four starts right now. Wake up, everyone. Good morning, its 9 01 on the east coast. Clayton and i framing the wonderful anna kooiman. Book ends. Were the trim. Were the crown moulding. Exactly. Welcome, thank you for watching fox friends this morning. Hopefully you were out enjoying your friday night. Were paying attention to what drama was unfolding in washington last night. There was drama after much back and forth, the house representatives did pass a bill, a border bill, appropriating 694 million for Border Security. This is billions less than the president asked for. It also was unilateral. The you state senate was not in washington last night. They were already on a fiveweek recess. But the bill is passed. And you should have seen the reaction. Senator, congressman tom marino, republican of pennsylvania, said this. Watch. You know something, that i find quite interesting about the other side . Under the leadership of the former speaker, and under the leadership of their former leader, when in 2009 and 2010, they had the house, the senate and the white house and they knew this problem existed, they didnt have the strength to go after it back then. But now are trying to make a political issue out of it now. I did the research on it you might want to try it. You might want to try it madam leader. Do the research on it. Do the research. I did it. Thats one thing that you dont do. Nancy pelosi off camera and off microphone. Yelling, she was upset about what the congressman from pennsylvania was saying about her leadership. Republicans have been criticized recently for not taking action on immigration and democrats have the opportunity when they ran the house of representatives to do the very same thing. But she was wagging her finger and ran across the aisle. While he was speaking. This does not happen in the house. The house can be a rowdy place, but this is not england. People dont do stuff like this. This is what crazy people do. She basically said, hey, listen, you know, we passed the dream act, we tried to do some comprehensive Immigration Reform. Its not our fault and its yalls fault essentially. A spokesperson on her side has said that monroe, or marino has come forward and apologized for doing this. Said i didnt apologize and i had no intention of doing so. And in fact during this exchange, that was offmike, pelosi said something nasty according to marino. He took to twitter and said representative pelosi called me an insignificant person on the floor of the house. Ill ponder that for a while driving to williamsport tonight. Of course, ill be driving myself. With no staff or security. And im just a country lawyer who worked in a bakery until he was 30. So maybe im not significant enough to question the former speaker. So really, if the accusations are true that she said he was an insignificant person, thats below the belt. Hes a member of congress. Yeah, a member of congress. Thats what you go to when you have no other argument, right . You start hitting below the belt . You start well, it hurts because its true. Heres the true part. This has been going on for a long time. It didnt start actually in this administration, weve had a border problem for 50 years, its intensified for years, 08 antichild trafficking law passed, an incentive for people to come here and its accelerated since president offered amnesty to underage illegal aliens an inducement for people to come here. The Democratic Party has done nothing about it because it benefits them. Thats all true, thats what congressman marino said. A hurt dog barks, she was angry. And republicans didnt do anything about it, either, when george w. Bush, republicans and his own party fought against them. This goes back to jfk. But heres whats changed. All of a sudden theres a recognition and wait a second, wages have stalled. The average middle class person has less money now, a family than it had 45 years ago. Thats a problem. The dissolution, the destruction of the middle class under the Obama Administration has accelerated. People are aware of it, theyre upset about it and immigration only speeds it. Many americans are probably upset about the dissolution of the lines between the branches of government this morning. In fact, a couple members of congress, senators on the senate Intelligence Committee fired up and asking for the resignation of c. I. A. Director john brennan, when it was revealed this week that in fact they were spying on members of the senate. Managed to go into their computers and watch exactly what these senators were saying and doing in their email accounts. Which is of course a violation of separation of church and state state executive power. And the separation of state, what am i trying to say . The separation of powers between the branches of government. That the executive branch could be spying on members of the legislative branch. And lying about it publicly. John brennan of course back in march saying absolutely not. If this were to come to light this would be a major problem, but it didnt happen. And whats interesting is the people calling for his resignation, the first two to come forward are democrats, senator mark udall from colorado said we have no choice but to call for the resignation of c. I. A. Director john brennan and senator Martin Hendricks from new mexico basically came up and said the same thing. Other people have asked for him to apologize, which hes apologized. Governor Mike Huckabee on the show said an apology is not enough. Listen. When you so violate the separation of powers as was violated by having the executive branch spy on the legislative branch, that is a serious breach of the Constitutional Trust that should exist. John brennan should go. You have at least two democrats who say that. God bless them for having the integrity. Of really their own constitutional principles to say that. So just keep in mind, this grows out of this scandal in an, and it is a scandal. The president s personal intelligencegathering agency was spying on congress . The president is on at loggerheads with . Thats the definition of a scandal. The congress is investigating, issuing a report in days on c. I. A. Enhanced interrogation techniques during the war on terror. President obama came out yesterday and addressed this. We havent read, the rest of the country hasnt read the report, its not public yet. He has read it and he characterized it in one of the weirdest ways ive ever heard. In the immediate aftermath of 9 11 we did some things that were wrong. We did a whole lot of things that were right. But we tortured some folks. We did some things that were contrary to our values. We tortured some folks. We kind of kidnapped people. Waiting in line at cracker barrel. You know what i mean . Kind of hanging out in front of the 7eleven. We tortured some folks. Is that what happened . We tortured some folks . It was slightly more complex than that members of the taliban, al qaeda that we had interrogated. Meanwhile, yesterday the press corps wasnt having the president s birthday rolling out. The president didnt want to answer questions that the reporters were asking him. Remember last year when the president brought up the birthday anecdote and members of the press corps bit on his question and said yeah, where are you going on your birthday . How are you celebrating your birthday . The president tried that again yesterday and the press corps didnt go along with it this time. I thought that you guys were aski going to ask me how i was going to spend my birthday . What happened to the happy birthday thing . I will, i will address two points, ill address hold on, guys, come on. Did you hear the one question . I dont know if you heard it loud enough. Democrats called for the resignation of john brennan, he cut them off and said im not going to address that point. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. This is a guy who had won the Nobel Peace Prize before he had done everything. He was worshipped and adored by the messiah by the White House Press corps for years. They loved him in ways that are legal still in some states. And yet apparently the bloom is off the rose. They dont love him any more. Its taken a while. Even the Mainstream Media asking the tough questions and the president isnt used to if. What flavor of birthday cake are you getting me, vanilla or chocolate . Well be all over it. We have other stories making headlines. Fox news alert. Ebola virus, the first of two infected aid workers will arrive today at Dobbins Reserve air base in marietta, georgia then theyll be brought to Emory University hospital and kept in strict isolation for treatment. Hospital says theyll receive the second aid work anywhere a few days. The irs has a new target the pulpit. The agency could be coming to a church near you. After striking a deal with m from Religion Foundation settling a lawsuit with the troubled agency, giving it the power to keep a closer eye on nonprofit religious groups. Legal editor of pj media, Jay Christian adams, said this about the issue earlier on fox friends they want to turn belief in constitutional principles, belief in god, into a political thing. They say, well thats political. You cant think like that. And they want to use the irs to go after people who express their faith from the pulpit and urge action. According to the settlement, the group can reinstitute its lawsuit against the irs, if it believes the agency isnt doing enough to crack down on churches. And no thrills for riders on six flags nitro roller coaster. It lost power while approaching an incline. And the people that were on board were forced to walk down the track thats 230 feet tall. Fortunately nobody was hurt. The new jersey theme park shutting the roller coaster down to fix it no word on what caused the power failure. And what happens when you deny a baby deer his belly rub . A work crew in kentucky just found out. We found this baby deer and were moving it out of the way so it doesnt get smashed bay tree. We started rubbing its belly and now when we go to put it down, it starts freaking out until we start rubbing its belly again. Its calm. Well the crew shooting the video while trying to move some nearby trees. The little deer loving the attention so much he didnt want them to leave. What a good boy now he cant dot rest of his job for the rest of the week, hes got to take care of a deer. Lets go to janice dean who is outside. Any more elk on the plaza this morning, janice . For now well enjoy the fact that it is not raining out here. Whats your Favorite Channel . Fox very nice. Back inside. Thank you, janice. Remember when the president said there wasnt even a smidgen of corruption at the irs . Well newly released emails prove otherwise. Bigtime. Lois learner calling conservatives crazies, and other things we cant say on television. Well let you guess, coming up. And secret service agenting breaking protocol. Why they just gave actor Bradley Cooper a free pass. You want to save money on Car Insurance . No problem. You want to save money on rv insurance . No problem. You want to save money on motorcycle insurance . No problem. You want to find a place to park all these things . Fuggedaboud it. This is new york. Hey little guy, wake up aw, come off it mate geico. Saving people money on more than just Car Insurance. Smells so good. Umh. Whats happening over there . Corn oh yeah, thats the x4 platinum. The worlds most social grill. Social grill . Did he just take a selfie . Oh yeah. Send photo. Watch, hes gonna light it with an app. Oh, gas. Yeah kebob, one serving. Get off your gas and grill with kingsford charcoal. Do you remember when president obama said this about the irs . There were some boneheaded decisions out of a but no mass corruption . Not even mass corruption. Not even a smidgen of corruption. Okay. Well how is this for not even a smidgen of corruption . New emails catch lois learner of the irs ranting about republicans. Calling them crazy. And a whole bunch of other words that we unfortunately cannot say on television, but you can guess. Now there are renewed calls of the Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to look into irs targeting of conservatives which obviously took place. One of those pushing for a special prosecutor is jordan seculo, the executive director of the American Center for law and justice, thank you for joining us. To the extent you can, keeping in mind this is a morning tv show with children watching, tell us what weve learned from these emails . The level of vitriol that lois learner had for conservatives, the complete this statement, through her official irs email shes namecalling, comparing conservatives to terrorists, saying we dont need to worry about alien terrorists, because weve got our own crazies that bring us down and using the colorful language we cant discuss on the air. But people can kind of figure that out. The idea that this was happening a few days after the 2012 president ial election and during the targeting, the continued targeting of the groups like the ones we represent, that have been still stalled and silenced by the irs. What a bigot this is like a nightmare scenario, you would have someone like this in a position of power in the irs. You should hear the whacko wing of the gop. The u. S. Is through, too many foreigners sucking the teat, time to hunker down, buy ammo and food. And prepare for the end. The right wing radio shows are scary to listen to, from learner. Great, maybe we are through if there are that many aholes. Thats unbelievable. Im talking about the host of the shows, the callers are rabid says unknown. Learner says, we dont need to worry about alien terrorists, its our own crazies that will take us down. This raises again the question, that here we have proof that this woman had animus against groups that they targeted. Why cant the congress do something about this . Why is this woman living in a multimilliondollar house in d. C. , not punished at all, when we know all this . Well this is why were calling for and want this pressure for a special counsel. And the reason is congress doesnt have prosecutorial powers, they cant bring lois learner to court. They can file the contempt orders and things like that for testimony. But ultimately they cant fully conduct this investigation the way the fbi or doj could and we know the reason why, tucker, they arent. There is a conflict of interest. We know that from previous lois learner emails that the department of justice contacted lois learner. The head of their election law division, about bringing as they put together, piecedtogether lawsuits, lois learners own words, asked by the doj to piece together lawsuits against conservative groups that they say were filing false claims, the false claims act. So criminal charges against groups is what they were working on with the doj and the fec. The conflicts of interest are the reason why the ability to appoint a special counsel exists, its been done by previous administrations and the bush administration. But its going to take a lot of pressure to get there. Because its up to attorney general holder. Its really the only way that she could see justice. Our civil case, we can get to the truth. We can get more facts, we can get discovery. She will not go to jail because of that. What a horrifying abuse of power. Jordan, thanks for all you do. Thanks for coming on this morning, appreciate it. A new show about extreme parenting is getting the attention of a lot of people. Watch. Take a drink of your lemonade. Extreme guide to parenting is a new reality show documenting the nontraditional ways that some parents choose to raise their kids, like this. Take a look. Take a drink of your lemon e lemonade. Tears are not going to help you. Youre hurting my feelings. Well put him in therapy if we have to. I feel sorry for them. Youre being a spoiled brat. This isnt normal. This isnt normal. Beating their kids with baseballs . We want to know does this show go too far . Here to weigh in is author of dan gets a minivan and parenting expert sam ettis. Nice to see all three of you. Dan, we see some dads there acting kind of crazy in the show. Does the show go too far . Extreme parenting. Its further proof that having kids turns you into a crazy person. Theres a balance, right . Rachel. Do we need to have this extreme version of parenting where were controlling our kids, hovering over. The show highlight as couple. A los angeles gay couple who will not let their child out of their sight, not for one afternoon. And obviously that concern is identifiable and relatable. Its when you take it to to that extreme. Extremes dont work, in relationships, in weight loss, in parenting. There needs to be a balance and theyve missed that healthy balance. How do you create a confident child . . The way to do it . What are your goals, if your goals are to create a confident resilient child, its probably not going to be from any of these extreme parenting techniques. I would argue in many ways, were all extreme parents, this is more like nutso parenting. How far do you go, dan . What kind of punishment . You have this discussion about what kind of in the show theres pushups and situps and making their kids do all sorts of extreme im, i want to start my own show, lowimpact parenting. After watching this. I try to be strict. We all try to exert some kind of control, right . Especially at first when youre new at this whole parenting thing. Then you realize, you know what, its not like training a puppy. Thats what i thought it would be like. You say sit, theyre going to sit. You say stay, theyre going to stay. We had this debate earlier on the show. Dan, in your book you sort of address the reluctant father as you get a minivan and become this reluctant parent. This idea that back when we were growing up, we could walk to the park. We saw a story this week of that 7yearold and in port st. Lucie, florida, the mom gets handcuffed for neglect. Here he is, he walked down the street to the local park and if you know anything about port st. Lucie, its a quiet, sleepy little town. That story breaks my heart a little bit. Theres another one with a mom who had a shift at mcdonalds and brought her 9yearold daughter to the playground and had a similar incident. I think its sad. We have to parent to type. Part of the problem with extreme parenting, these parents are not necessarily parenting to type. Theyre saying one size fits all. This is the way im parenting, regardless of who my child is. Do you say, rachel . I completely agree. They parent to whats working for them as opposed to working for the benefit of the child. Whats in the best interest of the children to make them healthy, happy and confident and any sort of extreme is not going to result in that. Dan do you think the show will be a success . I do. I think the whole point of reality shows is to show something completely unrealistic. So, yeah, its going to be huge. People are going to be tuning in to the drama do see all of these crazy parents. Dan, rachel and sam, great to see all of you this morning. We want to know your thoughts on this. Email us. Can you find us on twitter as well. Weigh in on the debate. Straight ahead, fox news alert. The idf now conducting a massive search for the soldier, as the Southern Gaza town of rafa is pummeled by air strikes. For more on the missing israeli soldier, we go live to john huddy at the israeli gaza border for us this morning. Whats the latest . The search continues, as you mentioned for Second Lieutenant guldin. A military official says he was abducted by hamas militants yesterday when both he and other Ground Forces were ambushed near as you mentioned, the Southern Gaza town of rafa. Now this happened about an hour and a half into that 72hour ceasefire. Which as we know, fell apart. Now, in a twist to all this, hamass military wing is saying it doesnt know what happened to the missing soldier. That hamas believes that he was killed along with other militants during israels heavy artillery strikes in that area. And we saw some of the artillery firing its cannons directed towards the rafa area. So the search continues for the missing soldier. As it does, the israeli army is now saying its nearing completion of the main goal of destroying hamass crossborder network of tunnels. Thats been a primary objective since day one of operations. And once thats completed, an idf spokesperson, Israeli Defense spokesperson said Ground Troops can focus on completing the operation. Weve heard talk about expanding ground operation. But what were hearing is that highranking Israeli Military and government officials are saying once the tunnel operation is completed. That Ground Troops are going to start being pulled out of gaza. I can tell you from our location here on the ground, looking at the northern part of the gaza strip behind me, its been quiet. Theres been some outgoing israeli mortar fire. Weve seen some explosions in the distance. Kent brantley, one of two americans infected with the ebola virus in africa is on a plane back to the United States. Hell arrive in marietta georgia today before being moved into quarantine in Emory University hospital in atlanta. One of two americans infected while working for the samaritans purse in africa. Should we be concerned here . Dr. Tony fausi, the director of the National Institute of allergy and Infectious Diseases says not so fast. We have the kind of Health Care System and the ability to isolate and use the kind of containments that we do, that is extremely unlikely, very unlikely that we would even have the conditions for their being an outbreak. The American Public should not be concerned about there being an outbreak in the United States. Because of our health care conditions. You heard dr. Fauci. Dr. Mark siegel conducted the exclusive interview and joins us now. Doc, what can you tell us this morning about what we can expect here when he arrives . Dr. Fauci was very reassuring, he said the virus is not mutating, its not like the flu. Weve got a very stable virus, we can predict its pattern. He differentiated between africa and here. He said in west africa, very porous borders, populated areas, very poor health infrastructure. Here, super infrastructure. Health infrastructure. If it does spread here at all, he is 100 confident it can be contained. Fauci also talked about vaccines, lets watch. There are a number of vaccine candidates that are now being tested and they are at various stages of development. By the end of january, of we will know whether or not in fact it is safe and we believe it will be. And whether in fact it does induce the kind of appropriate immune response that were looking for. Clayton, he answered your question. Also about how, whether we have do worry about brantley coming here. Dr. Brantley coming here or nurse rightbull and he says the risks are very, very small. And dr. Tom friedan, who i spoke to, head of the cdc said they use the same containment areas, they do it the same way they did for sars, back in 2003, which was an airborne virus, so this virus is very hard to spread. Theyre going to contain it it is not going to spread. Now fauci talked to me about how, the courage that these doctors showed out there in the field and how we owe it to them that theyre heroes, that we owe them the honor. Lets take a look. I think theyre very courageous. Theyre people to be admired. They take their job and their oath as a physician and a healer and a Health Care Provider to take care of people even under extraordinary circumstances. You know, we had that kind of experience, myself personally, in the very early years of the hiv aids pandemic, when we had no idea what it was, how it was transmitted or anything like that its what you do. Its your job as a physician. It sounds like if you practice responsible medicine, you can contain ebola. What if it mutates . You said i was convinced it wasnt mutating could it in the future. The flu virus is one thats changing genetic material all the time. Its in disguise, it comes to a costume party. It looks different than the last time you saw it thats the flu. Ebola has been very steady there are a few trastrains, they are changing. Since 1976, it was discovered on a river in africa, ebola river. It has not changed. The problem is the lack of health care and infrastructure. Were pouring all kinds of aid there. Fauci is hopeful it can be contained in africa. Its not going to be spread here. Everybody, check your phone bill and check it closely, because the cell phone provider may be cramming extra charges into the bill. How do you find out if you are being charged extra and how can you stop it . Joining us now is venture beat news harrison weber. How are you . Very well, thank you. What is cramming . Cramming is what happens and it is a term for the hidden fees that sneak on to the cell phone bill. And where are we getting hit the hard snes. Text messages and Long Distance calls. Okay. And how are we, how are they getting our phone numbers, and are we putting our numbers into the reservation site or buying the shoes online or how are we targeted . Well, it is mainly if you enter the number on any website that is not secured or at a coffee shop and not at the home internet, and anything can happen and it is easy to target different people and take a number. And it ends up hurting our wallet wallets, and we may not realize it. You have tips for us and the first sts to print your bill. How does this help . Well, a lot of people dont look at the bill at all. They look at the summary and not looking at the itemized list, and it is often that the hidden fees are all of the way at the end. And sometimes this may be 50 cents or a couple of dollars or even higher. Yes, up to 10. And usually stays be low 10 so it can be recurring, so it can cost you hundreds. So anything over 10 would cost a red flag, but it is making money. And also you say to look for Company Names that you dont recognize. On the bill, you will see different charges like the data plan and Different Things like perhaps, you dont have a unlimited text messaging or perhaps you do and then a company name or something that just doesnt, and something that you have never signed for it. Normally those red flags are what you look for first. And yeah, you wont notice on the smart phones, so printing it out will help. And you say to look for terms like stikic or flirting tips. Well, some people do sign up for these things, but normally it is not the case. And if you have seen suspicious text message, it is Something Like this before. And sometimes it is no a texts message, but it ends up on the bill. And sometimes look for premium calls that you did not make. Yes. Thank you, hairsrrison weber. Thank you for having me.
