Of course, for all americans, its education, health care is big. Climate change is , you know, people are really concerned about climate change. Wherever we are, just talking to americans, which makes it so interesting for me and for joe. Shannon and you have been youve taken some unique positions on education and really encouraging people, especially when it comes to community college. I think sometimes gets lost in the shuffle. But what role do you think they can play for us . They can play a huge role. And its for those students who, you know, may just want to certificate program, may just want a twoyear degree, or its sort of a springboard into a fouryear college, so we are hoping we are fighting for Free Community college and we started that in the obamait biden administration. So students can take two years and then seamlessly go a fouryear college, and that will help them with student debt. Shannon how do you deal with the incoming critiques, the attacks, whether its on social media, traditional media, wherever it comes at you, how do you do just that and keep going with your message . Because i can imagine i think its easier to be attacked yourself and to have people go after those that you love, how about for you . I think we are pretty resilient family. Weve been through a lot of tragedy and loss and i think that that has made us pretty resilient. You know, theres really nothing worse than losing a child, and so honestly you can handle anything. Shannon puts Everything Else in perspective. It does. Shannon i read Something Interesting in what you talked about your faith, which is very important to both of you and how that was shaken after bos deat. I so strongly believed he was going to live and i kept praying and praying, i felt that my prayers were unanswered. And so for years, i couldnt go to church, i couldnt pray and then we were on the campaign trail this past summer and we went into a church and we were sitting there in the front pew and a woman came up to me, one of the parishioners, and she put her hands a man she said jill, i want to be your prayer partner postcode. And i thought, prayer partner . I had never heard of that. It was at that moment that i felt like there was a path to my recovering my faith and since then shes kept in touch with me. Shannon you are here to do an event you come as you talked about, you give people your email address, you stay in touch with as many people who want to talk. How much of it is about making that connection for people . I think its everything. I think really politics is relationships. I think that they feel that they want to be connected to the candidate, and so thats why so many people come up to me and come up for joe and ask us questions when we go to different towns and areas. And they want to know us. Shannon you all the partners in this. We are partners. Shannon did he really propose five times . He did. But you have to remember i dont know whether you know, but joes wife and daughter were killed before i met him, so when joe asked me to marry him, it just wasnt, you know, my heart that was on the line, i had to go little boys who had already lost one mommy and dashed to tragedy, and i had to make absolutely 100 sure that this marriage was going to work. They could never lose another mom through a divorce. And i loved them so much that i had to make sure it would work. Shannon one last thing. With all this time and crazy schedule that you keep, what keeps you going on the campaign trail . I think is exercise. I try to do some form of exercise every day. Ive found, you know, where to go to take bart class, or i go out and run or cycle. It just creates balance in my life. And i think its so important that women especially find that balance. Whether it is true faith, prayer, meditation, through exercise, whatever it is where you can find peace, you know, that inner peace and balance.
