Maryland, Kellyanne Conway willn be here tonight. Dr. Sebastian, and were goingn to be taking questions from this wonderful audience, how are you all doing . [cheers and applause] are you all happy with the last 30 days . How many of you are irredeemabl irredeemable, deplorable americans . How many cling to your god, your guns, your bible, and religion . How many have prayed to the high heavens that Barack Hussein obama is gone. [cheers and applause] how many think the media in this country is so fundamentally dishonestly corrupt . Are you ready to help stop americas precipitous decline . Are you excited about the opportunity to fix this country . I want to hear a loud applause, no applause. How happy are you with President Trumps first 30 days . [cheers and applause] this is a historic opportunity. For us to get this country together. I spent an entire year last year, this is how corrupt the media is. You go back to 2007, 2008, remember i was doing something called vetting barack obama, you remember that . If you werent watching, you have to leave. So im vetting obama, heres a guy that is a disciple, learns from communist frank marshallt davis, an acorn organizer, how does that qualify you to be a dogcatcher, i dont get it. He goes to the church of gd america, a year later when i broke the story, reverend rice did one interview during that election cycle, it was with me and he never showed up back on television again. Im very proud of that. [applause] imagine if donald trump, general donald j. Trump our president , if he started his political career in the home of anru unrepented terrorist part of ata group that bombed the pentagon, the capital, New York City Police Headquarters and on 9 11, 2001 all days was quoted as saying i wish we had done more in terms of terrorist activities. How many times, can anyone answer, how many times that are corrupt alt left media ever ask barack obama the question about his association with bill ayres . Wrong sorry. Not zero, one time. You want to know why because george stephanopoulos, clinton sycophant, i couldnt resist, he was on my radio show the day before he was hosting a debate. I fed him the question. He didnt even know who bill ayres was at the time. It wast donald trump, bill ayr, how many times do you think the american corrupt liberal leftist overpaid Media Outlets what have asked the question . This is hollywood, one of our guys. George w. Bush calls him that they are. Are good guys. We0 worked together 20 years, they are my friends. We have an opportunity but we have forces that are working very hard against us. Youve got the snowflake brigade, the paid protesters, those people that have Nothing Better to do, they dont work like the rest of us, so they goo to protest to protest. Youve got the democratic establishment, day one to talk about impeachment because their crybabies and whiners and they lost they cant admit it. And weve got the media with their corruption, basically declared war on President Trump, they want to do everything they can to do to hurt this opportunity to help this country. Then weve got republicans that have shown that they are weak and feckless and spineless and its time for them to get off their ass and do their job. [cheers and applause] thats was time for them to do. This is so important, what we complicated. We give out statistics every single day on the program, i repeated myself on purpose, not because i like to hear myself talk, we have 95 billion of our fellow americans out of the labor force, the lowest Labor Participation rates in the 70s. 50 Million People that are on food stamps, that is 13 million more than one barack obama became president. We have 8 million americans, our fellow friends, neighbors, relatives, they live in poverty, 15 million total, 8 million more since obama was president. We have the worst recovery since the 1940s, the lowest Home Ownership rate since in 51 years. Wn we have literally the only president that never in one year of his presidency reached 3 gdp growth, not one time, what is it that we want is conservatives . World conservative libertarian here right . We won the election, the snowflakes lost. What do we want to do . Its simple. We want to keep our country safe, we want to keep our country secure, thats not that hard. Is it really tough to vet people that are going to be guests coming into our house . Unlike the left in the media, im not willing to gamble with your life or the life of any other american. [cheers and applause] is it really we have an estimated 8 million illegal immigrants, ive been down tois the border 12 times, ive said this many times, ive been on helicopters, boats, allterrain vehicles, if you really want to left, look at me on horseback. Ive been to a drug warehouse is as big as this room, floor to ceiling drugs that were aimed to come to this country for your children, your friends, your relatives and poison our kids. Nobody seems to talk about that. I went to a security briefing with governor rick perry, 642,000 texans were victims of crime including rate and murder in some instances in a seven year period marked by illegal immigrants. Donald trump wants to bet refugees, i said thats fair, thats moral, and the right thing to do. [applauding] i dont think its too much to ask that if you want to come to our country that you obey our laws and sovereignty. I dont think thats too much to ask. Then you look at whats the rest of histh agenda . Obamacare, we didnt keep our doctors wouldnt keep our plans and we didnt say 2500 per family per year. He lied, yes, maam. In the eight years he was president , Health Care Costs for the average family in this country went up 5,400, that does not include a 2016, if you live in arizona, it just went up this year alone another 117 . On average it went up another 35 , aetna said its a spiral, the ceo of aetna. Humana just pulled out for 2018. I want republicans to show the backbone and keep the promise they have given in the last eight years, repeal and replace this thing. Health care savings accounts, free market competition, affordability, take it from job to job, will deal with preexisting conditions, we have to help the poor people one way or the other, were not going to let them die, we dont what they have in great britain, National Health service. The agenda is not hard. How about an economic plan . Isnt it great . How do donald trump talk them into not bringing plans to mexico . How did he keep Fiat Chrysler . You notice every company now e wants to meet with the president , im spending 7 trillion right now, they want the free publicity. Also they know that better times are ahead because if the president is able with the help of congress to fulfill his economic plan, think of what weve got. v weve got multinational corporations, trillions of dollars parked overseas, they want to bring the money back because theyre going to have to pay confiscatory taxes, he said will give you a 10 rate, bring the money back, build your factory here, invest in america. Build your Manufacturing Centers here and let the forgotten men and women in detroit, michigan, and milwaukee, wisconsin, and cleveland, ohio, philadelphia, pennsylvania, let them have opportunities that they have. America first. His economic plan is seven brackets to three, a 15 Corporate Tax rate which will ga from the highest in the industrialized world to one of the lowest. Incentivize corporations toze stay, build of those factories, and all those men and women in poverty out of the labor force on food stamps can now see the American Dream come back to them. I speak from very bluecollar roots. I spent 20 years of my life as a bluecollar worker come i wash dishes, i was a cook i was a busboy come i was a waiter, i was a bartender, not a really good time of my life. I didnt quite behave in those years, stop laughing, i heard you. [laughter] i know what goes on here at night, ive seen it. T. Then i worked in construction, i was a house painter, i hung wallpaper, i framed houses, i did roofing come i fell off a h roof three and half stories hit the ground, woke up i had common sense kick in and i was a conservative. True story. I was dangling like this, i clicked it back in and it was like a one and a million shot, the doctor told me. I did all the jobs and i will tell you right now, that they lying corrupt immediate thatig never vented obama, that neveror told you the truth about obama, the lying liberal media that never told you the truth about hillary, how bad were the Wikileaks Revelations that showed the media colluding with the campaign of Hillary Clintonh to try to undermine then candidit is the single most cort revealing moment of media bias, disinformation, propaganda distortion, and outright lies that they are willing to tell. They gave her the questions at cnn, i know. Fake news. Fake news of all the Media Outlets, which one was the worst . Cnn. I cant hear you. Heres my thing, i want to say at one point in order to bring our guest out. It is an honor to be back with you now, my third year in a row. [cheers and applause] i got to say this, the media is against our president , we have democrats against the present, we have freaky weird snowflakes against the president , and we even have weak republicans against the president. Rhinos. Yes. The only you cannot expect to vote in november and accomplish this agenda at the extreme vetting, this agenda, he kept his prague do not promise. Neil gorsuch, an originalist, on the court. Hes keeping his promise to repeal and replace health care, hes keeping his promise to build the wall, hes keeping his promise on building the military on saving the va and keeping the promise for great men and women that served this country. For him to be successful, hes going to need every one of you in this room to stay engaged, tm fight, to help to call, and to be active in the process, are you willing to do that . I cant hear you. Are you all willing to do that . Youre ready to have a good show today . Well take a break, coming up, were just getting things started at cpac 2017, Kellyanne Conways in the house, shes next. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security secretary john kelly are slated to meet with mexican president and enrique pena nieto. Relations between the two countries deteriorated after President Trump insisted mexico pay for a border wall. It mexico also against mr. Trumps forceful steps against illegal immigration. He has pledged to overhaul of the mexicanu. S. Trade relationship. Some people are allowed back to the san jose, california, homes. Earlier, several neighborhoods forced an evacuation from 14,000 people. Many even had to be rescued by boat. The region is finally drying out after many reigns. Let warning to continue through saturday morning. I am Jackie Bonnie is coming up back to hannity. For all your headlines log onto fox news. Com. Sean welcome back to hannity as we are broadcasting from the Gaylord National resort and Convention Center and for the first time in many years, the sitting president of the United States will be in attendance here at this conference this year. Joining us now is the counselor to the president and might i add the first woman in American History to ever be a Campaign Manager of a winning campaign. Lets welcome Kellyanne Conway. [cheers and applause] [chanting] sean i cant hear you whats new . Anything happening lately . Had an incredible first month with present action, president impact, donald j. Io trump. Sean weve known each other for over 20 years, probably 25, easily. Thats the birthdate of some of these kids. Sean i know. How many here are 20 years old or younger, i hate you. Ea i known you, i watched, i have a list here of everything the president has accomplished in 30 days. The list is extensive and a long and but for my show and may be one other show, nobody in thend media has talked about the incredible pace, speed, success of the president , why do you think that is . Some people talk about biased or fair coverage, like a fair coverage, my grievance is reallo full coverage, we want the complete story told. President trump has initiatedco about 23, 24 executive action since he got over the job a month ago. One of them has gotten all ofnc the attention. I think theres something called presumptive negativity. What is he saying, what are his advisors saying, it must be something wrong, it must be something negative. I just would ask people to give us a wide berth, focus on what hes doing. Hes keeping all of these Campaign Promises at a quick clip. He is never in a rush to do the wrong thing, his entire career which has been decidedly outside of politics, dealmaking, he absorbs information ive never seen a more brilliant communicator, a more natural connector, hes been the transactional guy his entire life. He absorbs the informationtr he needs, and he uses a cause of cancer. Hes been doing as president in the first month. The list is longth and growing weird just today he talked about not having a budget soon. He talked about obamacare replacement coming in the next few weeks. Rbc taxes will go handinhand with that. Weve got energy investment, trade deals being renegotiated. Hes had all these roundtable discussions that everybody can see. A realpi impact. Intel, 7 billion investment. Thats my point, there are such Great Stories to tell, facts and figures to put out there. Stories to tell that we just want to make sure are reaching people. I have a lot of faith in the wisdom of the american people,in they can pull the information themselves. So many people in the Mainstream Media dont like the president using twitter, too bad. Hes cutting out the middleman. Its the democratization of information, every one can see at the same time with the president of the United States just said. Sean this is another example of fake news, i have an article put out by cnn, shocking. [boos]e Kellyanne Conway sidelined from tv after flynn debacle, how many dates have even booked on the show court to mark you are never sidelined. Im not, somebodys trying td start trouble, about 5 of what what im asked to do in this white house counselor role is tv. I think thats about right because hes the president now. Hes his own best messenger. He held a press conference at 77 minutes, took 17 questions. You got that information for free all at the same time. Two days later, he was at a rally in florida, hes his own best messenger. We dont need to be out of there all the time. There are some people trying to get in my way up also gobbled up a lot of peoples tv w opportunities. On the outside, i believe, folks trying to use me as click bait and a headline, i am there to serve the president was there to serve the american people. I know very clearly what the portfolio includes, what im doing as part of the senior team and im comfortable with that. We are playing long ball, long haul. It wouldve been nice to havee been consulted on that, i dont think i have to exclude myself, because im out with four kids looking at houses and schools. A lot of my colleagues are trying to figure out how to be a mother of four kids, i assure you. Sean congratulations. [cheers and applause] i when i saw the headline i literally have a list that is now pages long of all the fake l news stories, i read the story today, thats impossible because she is booked my show. Not even worth arguing, it doesnt bother us. Some things are really, really small in the presidency and donald trump in the presidency and Vice President pence are really big theyre going to do things that impact peoples lives, all this all the statistics you see every signal night on every day on the radion i know the statistics are going to improve under the president and Vice President , thats why im here, thats why youre here. Its a future shared by all. Sean the key to any political success is keeping your promises and we see this unfolding and happening every day. I just think you have a lot ofur fierce opposition out there and this is real, this is organized. I would argue money is behind it. I would argue that probably obama is encouraging the protests, thats what he saidob publicly. Es yes, soros. I have to wonder what he might be doing, i have to wonder what he might be doing privately. If you are able to get americans back to work, and back out ofif poverty and also food stamps and able to make us Energy Independent and give us a Better Health care system and secure the country through vetting and walls, to me, that would be so refreshing. My question is about congress. I talk about the speed of trump and at this pathetically slow speed of congress. I had speaker ryan on my show and ask him very pointed questions. When is this going to be done . He says legislatively into hundred basin is consulting with the white house, are you confident that it will all be done as you wanted and 200 days at the president wants . In my view, President Trump but sheer pace of action ups everyone elses game. He is setting the agenda, the content, the paste. You cant help when youre around him to want to even meett those expectations, i know thate speaker ryan and leader mcconnell and the other leaders in the house and senate are very hard at work and working very closely with the white house. Sean i dont trust a lot of them. How many of you trust them . I tell you one thing, causation and not coincidence that the electorate at times and divided government, they were so tired of the excuses of divided government for both sides. Even though we promise because we dont have the white house,de we cant do x and y because we promised even though they dont have the congress. They have most of the governorships, state legislators, thats not a mistake. E. Thats the electorate saying we actually want action and not impediments. Sean we have to take a break, stay with us, well come back as we continue from cpacpe 2017. It will take question from the crowd and conservative union, chairman Matthew Schlapp willl join us as we continue from cpac. Atatatt atatatt with e trade you see things your way. You have access to the right information at the right moment. And when you filter out the noise, its easy to turn your vision into action. Its your trade. E trade. Start trading today at etrade. Com sean welcome back to hannity, we are at sea pack 2017 and we continue, i want to stay on this issue. I did feel better after i interviewed paul ryan, and he promised me in 200 days, legislatively, things are going to get them. In fairness to them, weve got to deal with reconciliation because of the way the Health Care Bill was passed. Its got to pass, its got to be revenue neutral. Its got to be cbo scored. There are challenges to do it. The reality is i want the vetting, i want the economic plan that the president talked about, i want energy independence, i want it all. He said it legislatively into 200 days he thinks that could happen. This is the congress has been working on these issues for years. Look at repealing and replacing obamacare. Something preparing for we never had a chance because president obama was not going to repeal obamacare. Now you have secretary price who wasnt in congress all those years, you have director mulvaney who was in congress all these years, these are folks who are working with their former colleagues, and im very confident that legislation will be there. Sean how about general kelly . Hes been great. Or mad dog mattis. Rex tillerson state, we haveg 14 secretaries, the latest, talk about lethargic pace, a lot of obstruction in the air. In the end, hes put together a really brilliant, very conservative cabinet, men and women who have other things to do and other places to be who wish to serve at this point in time, this president. Sean i want to add one point and then will go to questions. I have watched you be attacked viciously and unfairly, weve seen that happen to the president. Even attacked his 10yearold son, theyve attacked his wife. Theyve attacked ivanka, theyve attacked jared, theyve attacked steve bannon, steve miller, theyve attacked anybody associated with the president and its my belief that the left has almost become totally and completely unhinged at this moment and cannot seem to accept the reality they lost, and your team won. [applauding] what id like to say is that america won i tell everyone its a victory, a lot of credit, we have an amazing team and no substitute for excellent quality in donald trump at mike pence, no question. Even if it wasnt your victory and your choice, it is your future, a future shared by all. The idea that you dont respect the office of the presidency in its current occupant, at least give him a chance to succeed. This was not the way i was raised. The attacks are one thing. I think when you work for President Trump, you take his lead and guidance, hes pretty impervious to his naysayers. Sean it means you do notot sleep ever. Its a mystery to me. Ive been so excited, ive been coming to cpac for 15, 20 years, on and off as a speaker. The one thing i talked about that came true for donald trump, for years, talked about the fiction of electability in the Republican Party they always asked us question who can win what work you can win, you can win, you cant win, sucking thes lifeblood out of our wouldbe nominees, and he replaced electability with electricity. He went back to the he said come with me, im not grassroots and said come with me. Im not building a traditional campaign, and building a movement. People felt like they were art part of that, even if you didnt support him at the beginning, people felt like they were ae part of it. Hes got all of that goodwill coming in with him of people who believe in him because of his message. He comes to washington owing no one anything. Thats why you will get a lot done. Sean thats why people need to stay engaged. Whats your name . Im ashley from franklin massachusetts. Im here with turning point usa [cheers and applause] my question is how do we as conservative women take down the identity and gender politics of the left . Sean i think shes addressing me. Go right ahead. He heard gender and got all excited. I think you start out by recognizing t this past electio, women comprise the majority of the electorate, and the female candidate did not win. That means that many people in the electorate looked past gender identity and look as a country, i would think most americans would say id like toe have a female of president , just not that one. Just not that one. [laughter] it wasnt a hypothetical, was hillary. With that came a lot of baggage and a majority of americans even major media polls didnt trust her and didnt much like her, i think that female candidates can often benefit as seeming as great negotiators can mustst consensus builders, fresh and new to politics, theres a reason you never heard the term the old girls network, there isnt one. Women are often seen as less corruptible, more ethical, et cetera. She was just not confused with any of that. Look. Its a great question because people are somewhat entranced be gender. If you share my gender, thats interesting, let me take a look. Theyy really want you to share their issue set, their ideology, their faith in the future. Thats what we really vote on and care. About. We are very proud of the electorate for looking past that and looking toward who shared their values and vision for the future. Sean one quick question, and we have to take a break. Tracy marlon, florida. Swing state voter, thank youu florida. Thanks for being a woman of integrity. [cheers and applause] what would you recommend to women wanted to start the career path in politics now and having the desire to helpr President Trump administration make America Great again . Thank you, we accept all comers in terms of people who would like to serve and help this administration, so give me a call, i mean that, look me up, give me a call. In terms of start again politics, i think one thingg everybody regardless of their gender has to realize right now is the old saying you have to have the fire in your belly is true, but now you also haveir to have the bile in your throats. Theres a lot to swallow in todays politics, a lot of negativity, a lot of venom. To look past that and really focus on the issues and ideas that motivate you. I think for women starting out in politics, i would say do what you do regardless of industry, except the word now more than often than you would say a spirit people are asking to volunteer and help out or come to something on the weekend, just do it. Dont say no, i dont think opportunities knocks twice. E learn the fundamentals, get with the grassroots. Learn how to organize how to write a press release. How to engage with folks door to door. Theres no substitute, look what happened in the selection. Had we not had the grassroots, not had the candidate in h donald trump who refuse to have, did not need as much money and much personality as Hillary Clinton had, going out there and talking about substance and issues, thank you that would be my recommendation. Thank you for your willingness to serve. Sean i just want to say one thing because weve been friends for so many years. Are you proud of how hard shes been working . [cheers and applause] kelly and, thank so much. Thank you. This bill and one back, dr. Sebastian gorka will join us and matt schlapp will join us on the cpac stage one we continue ive found a permanent escape from monotony. Together, we are perfectly balanced, our senses awake, our hearts racing as one. I know this is sudden, but they say if you love something. Set it free. See you around, giulia sorry, just getting a quote on motorcycle insurance from progressive. Yeah . Yeah, they have safe rider discounts, and with total loss coverage, i get a new bike if mines totaled. But hows their Customer Service . Great. 24 7. Just like here. Meat loaf [dings bell] just like here. Anybody got a pack. That needs leadin . Serving all your motorcycle insurance needs. Now, thats progressive. Sean welcome back to hannity were at cpac 2017, Deputy Assistant to the president , dr. Sebastian gore to, give a warm cpac welcome. There he is. [cheers and w applause] they even attacked you two. I forgot to mention you on the list. Me i must be doing something right. Sean you wrote a book, i forget the exact title, how to defeat isis . I read the book, we looked at goes toalone, and it the issue of extreme vetting. Chattanooga, pulls my club orlando, boston bombing, San Bernardino, fort hood, and i can keep going. We got france and belgium, and it donald trump was right about sweden. You see the impact, radical islamic terrorism, isnt it unbelievable our last president didnt saysm it . I ask you, how is this war when a boat when the fbi tells us there are thousand ongoing investigations right now, in america, in all 5050 states . The only way you can win any war is when youik are allowed to tak truthfully about who the enemy w is. Imagine if we were ready to storm the beaches of normandy, okay . I say to all the guys and itchy eyes, are you ready . Oh, by the way, when you hit the beachheads, just remember, dont say the word nazi because you could offend a german. You would have been courtmartialed if you wouldve said that, thats the last eight years. Sean heres my fear. If you go back to the 9 11 commission report, it said and i didnt agree with all of it, onh thing ive agree with, they were at war with us, we werent at war with them, thats a direct quote. The problem is we had all these indicators, the Embassy Bombings in tanzania and kenya, the crowbar towers, the uss cole, the trade center bombing, all these indicators. Are we going to look back now because of eight years going back to pre9 11 defined set, a week to cite chattanooga, the pulse nightclub and fort hood in San Bernardino and say we had no idea it was coming . N is it matter of if not when . M they want to hit us big. Lets look at history, a man called usama bin laden twice but before 9 11 in 1996 and 1998 h openly declared war in the event states. Sean and we didnt pay attention. Right. I teach a course int understanding, theres a quote i use from a holocaust survivor to open the course. This is a man whod seen his whole family destroyed in world war ii, his wife and children die in death camps and labor camps and somebody asked him a really fast how question they said to this old man, so what is your one takehome, you lived through all of this horror, whats one thing you would recommend people understand about world war ii and the holocaust . He said oh thats easy. When a group of people repeatedly say they want to kill you, sooner or later, you should take them seriously. Sean heres my question we only have a minute left. So the president comes forward with extreme vetting executive order, were going to get a new one either late this week or early next week, were rewriting which i think is the right thing to do in light of the fact that they want judge shopping, the most liberal circuit in the country. G why do you think i do not c understand any reluctance or resistance that we vet people ateo our guests into our countr, and why are so many people on the left willing to gamble with the lives of all these people here, and all these people watching at home . Two questions, what is the logical critique to saying we want to make our immigration policies . Whats the logic . Do we just want to make them more efficient . What is the argument against that . How about this . When you go to sleep at night i dont care whether you live in the south side or here in georgetown, when we go to bed at night, do you lock the front door . . Sean then i put my gun nexti to my bed and i go to sleeplaus] if you do that, surely the border is our front door. Surely we have control as to who enters our house, this is the house of america, the idea that we dont control it is crazy. [cheers and applause] sean i think dr. Gorka and i have become really Close Friends and i think were really lucky to understand the nature of evil in our time which is a clear and present danger of our country working with the administration, god bless you. Coming up, American Conservative Union match lap joins us on the cpac stage as we continue, hannity on the road. alarms wheres the car . Itll be here in three. Uh, four minutes. Are you kidding me . No, looks like he took a wrong turn. Dont worry, this guys got like a fourstar rating, were good. His name is randy. Thats like one of the most trustworthy names ordering a getaway car with an app . Are you randy . Thats me awesome surprising. Whats not surprising . How much money erin saved by switching to geico. Everybody comfortable with the air temp . I could go a little cooler. Ok. Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more. Sean welcome back to hannity as we continue on the road, we kick off tomorrow, the person responsible for putting w this big event together, American Conservative Union chairman matt schlapp, good to see you. We go back, a few years ago here, how many of the candidates on the stage . Three or four. We had 17 candidates, i remember saying from this stage the people assembled we would hear from the president of the from the president of the United States. Sean i asked the audience tw say at some of youre going toou be frustrated your guys didnte win, but will you unite around the candidate, we still havee these snowflake never trumper whiners, complainers, you think its for the movement . I think it has. Conservatives have never won so much at the ballot box. Never been a position to have the white house, senate, and the house. We have got a chance that Ronald Reagan didnt even have. Ronald reagan is the last president to come to cpac in his first year. It was a generation ago, weve got the chance on the agenda, we cannot squander it. Sean tell me what part of any, the only area of disagreement some conservatives could have with President Trump venting his conservatives, repeal and replacing his conservative, his economic plant is right out of reagan, building a Strong National defense taking care of our vets. Energy independence, what partor of that is not conservative . How about neil gorsuch, how about the most conservative cabinet in the last 50 yearsne according to our own ratings . He is really starting off in the right way and i think conservatives feel respect, i think its good to be a great partnership. I think it has been already. Are you all happy with what hes put together a quick lets give it up for our good friend, thank you, we appreciate you being with us, when we come back from a very important question of the day and a lot of football throwing, thats straightahead.
