But hes doing it through the independents. 20 on that cnn poll, 20 lead independents over Hillary Clinton. Trump versus clinton has the lead. On the same weekend isis claims thousands of jihadists are in europe right now, trump wins on fighting terror up 6 in that as well. My point here is he has the enthusiasm, the engagement. He has the military advisers, generals who signed on to his Campaign Today and he has now also what seems to be a flip in the polls. Whenever you talk to somebody about trump, the first thing out of their mouth is how much they hate hillary. When you see whats going on, on that plane, arrogance of familiarity, that shes been around so long that she somehow is exempt from serious questions. Its like asking Mario Andretti how to change oil, all those questions are the assumption that youre not supposed to really challenge me. Its not all roses for donald trump. In some of the battleground states, juan, we see she continues to have a pretty good lead in some of those places. However, i would say we saw today the National Democratic Senatorial Committee is going to pull out of ohio, which looks like the republican rob portman is going to be able to win that state, which might be good for trump, too. The former governor, the democrat, doesnt seem to have it. They think hes going to win, that portman is going to win. Im surprised its still a race in so many other states for republicans. And, again, you just think, whoa, how much is trump hurting down ballot republicans . Because the Republican National committee is supporting donald trump . If they have gained ground anywhe anywhere, he has not built a campaign. Look at the Electoral College and plain states, often having senate races in them. Boy, those swing states right now look as though Hillary Clinton was asked about these poll numbers. This is what she had to say about them. I really pay no attention to polls. When theyre good for me and there have been a lot of them that have been good for me recently, i dont pay attention. When theyre not so good, i dont pay attention. Theres a variety of factors both for and against her that would suggest why this has tightened up. She has to do something. This is not going to be easy. Traditional Television Ads are not having the same effect as they have in the past. I wonder if the strategy is flawed. Ayotte, johnson, toomey, theyre staying away from trump, dont endorse trump. It becomes fodder for the democrats. Given these senate races, they dont flip the senate. So, i think that her ad was effective mostly because i dislike the tactics, whether youre trump or hillary, using their words to make their point and i think she did that pretty well.
