Todays attack killed four people, including three americans with dual citizenship, and also a british israeli as well. Palestinians have launched several attacks, including running over mrunz at train stations and, of course, todays attack. Now, this is just the latest in a string of attacks and palestinian officials have condemned it, but israeli officials are Holding Palestinians responsible for the attack and the insightment. One of the big issues is whether theres much that can be done to stop them. Israeli police say these are individual attacks, that they arent appearing to be linked in any way. Back here at home huge vote in the senate a few hours from now on the Keystone Pipeline project. What exactly are we talking about . Take a look. We want to show you this. Heres how the pipeline is currently built. It runs from fuel city, nebraska, down to curbing, oklahoma. Theres an additional 485 miles between curbing and texas. Those segments pick up roughly 40 of the project. So here is the proposed extension called the keystone xl. It takes a more direct route. Its going to run between alberta, canada, and steel city. Part of that between canada and nebraska is what is left. If completed, it will be fewer than 1,200 miles long. Now, in this final one, you can see the current pipeline compared to whats being suggested to be built. Environmental reviewers on the project say it will have little affect on Greenhouse Gas emissions. Its said to create 40,000 jobs. President obama has implied that even if it sweeks by in the senate, it wont make it past his desk. House Speaker John Boehner slamming him today and getting in a jab on obama care advisor Jonathan Gruber too. A Keystone Pipeline veto would send a signal that this president has no interest in listening to the American People. President obama will have a test for not only bipartisan cooperation, but also how much he is listening to the voters and nonvoters that he said i wanted to listen to . Well, not only are they not illegal, but Congress Passed a law in the 198 0z signed by president reagan called the equal axis act to make sure that Christian Clubs would be allowed. The Supreme Court has already enforced that before in the mergens decision back in the 1990s. This is well settled law they have to allow the Christian Club. When they allow the Animal Rights club and recycling club, they have to allow the Christian Club as well. You didnt want to give up your fight. No. All right. I mean, now that i know that its not illegal, i mean, i dont see why they would say no. Do you have to have an amalgamation of all religions to make a club . Everybody gets to decide how they want to do their club. If you want to have a multifaith club, you are allowed to do that. If you want to have a Christian Club or islamic club or a jewish club, you are allowed to do that. Were going to hold this schools feet to the fire, and theyre going to allow this club. Theyre either going to do it in the nice way by simply saying yes, or were going to have to go to the courthouse and theyll have to have the law applied to them, and people can learn more about the case as it goes on at liberty institute. As it is required, the proper procedures must be followed and implemented before the club can be formally recognized. Theyve since 1943 the Supreme Court has recognized that kids have First Amendment rights when they walk into the schoolhouse to be able to have their faith and to be able to either refrain from certain activities or to be able to do certain things. They point to the president s 2006 comments when he was a senator calling gruber one of the brightest minds and saying he borrowed from him liberally. House Speaker John Boehner used him to challenge president obama not to veto a keystone xl peopleline bill, and mccarthy suggested gruber shows the administration is misleading voters. Disspelling a longheld belief by many doctors and patients. Should we all kiss our aspirin goodbye . Dr. Kevin campbell, practicing cardiologist and assistant professor of medicine at the university of north carolina. Should we kiss it goodbye . Absolutely not. The study looked at patients who have never had heart attacks or strokes before, so primary prevention of events. In these patients without many risk factors, it did not seem to make a difference. However, in patients who have had a heart attack or stroke, we know that its significantly reduces secondary events or subsequent events in heart attack and stroke patients. Okay. So this is a study over five years. This is a big study, right . It really is. So what theyre saying is its just people who have not had a heart attack before that it makes no difference . Thats exactly right. We call it primary prevention. Patients that have maybe one risk factor. Pretty health where i group of patients. It was 14,000 patients in japan. And they didnt show any difference at all. Theres other studies out there that in patients with multiple risks, it actually can provide a benefit, so, you know, theres a lot of study left to be done. Okay. For people watching right now, what should they do . So you talk to your doctor. You find out if the risk of taking aspirin, such as bleeding from the gi track outweigh the benefits that you might achieve, and you really want to individualize your treatment. If you have heart attack or stroke, you definitely need to be on an aspirin. If you have not, i think you need to assess risk and discuss it with your physician. Okay. Now, a scary new study claims an ingredient found in some antibacterial soap and toothpaste even may be doing more harm than good. Well, they may get rid of the germs, right, but at the same time they could be damaging your liver.
