Lets begin with that brandnew audio of the mandalay maintenance man, he made a radio call for help here he was on the 30 secondfloor to repair a jammed fire exit when he got into the hallway near the room of killer, Stephen Paddock. He had already been shot in the leg told him to take cover. Potentially saving his life. At the beginning of the tape and again five seconds in, you will hear what sounds like rapid fire gunshots. Watch closely. Called the police. Someones firing a gun appear. Someones firing egg rifle appear the 32nd floor hallway. Its at the end of the hallway. I cant tell you what room. It looks like you follow fire down the hallway when i got close to the door. That audio comes amid new questions over the timeline. Police say a Security Guard was shot at 9 59 p. M. , a full 6 minutes before Stephen Paddock fired on the concert crowd. The shooting ended at 10 15 p. M. , although no one knows why because police didnt arrive until 10 17 p. M. , 8 minutes after the Security Guard it was shot. Hgms disputed that timeline saying we cannot be certain about the most recent timeline that has been communicated publicly and we believe what is currently being expressed a not be accurate. Mgm is among those being sued by 21yearold woman who was shot and injured. This alleges that improperly monitor and frequent the hotel and didnt respond quickly enough to the shooting. The suit also includes the concert promoter and manufacturers of bump stock devices to allow semiautomatic weapons to fire at nearly the rate of an automatic. Weve also learned that Stephen Paddock arrived at Mandalay Bay Hotel for three days earlier than police first thought. During the first days, he stayed in a room paid for by the hotel. Paddock then moved into a corner suite that he paid for where the shooting took place. Police say the autopsy shows that Stephen Paddock had no brain abnormalities. Despite early reports the contrary, paddock say his girlfriend had no concerns about his mental health. Now we know that he was in the hallway, was shot, it was a blaze of gunfire that came out of there, and at that 6 minutes later, the shooting began. He called his security people and we just heard the phone call to 911 from the guy in the hallway who also called. Those calls went out and a 6 minutes later, which is an eternity in this situation, the firing began. What do you make of all that . They are trying to suggest that the hotel didnt do what they were supposed to. If the facts are and i dont think they are that the hotel found out about the shooting, did nothing, and then its a viable lawsuit. Thats not what im hearing happened. They mustve called a Law Enforcement and the question is, what does the Law Enforcement do and why did it take so long for them to get there. Could this have been preventable . Where i take the greatest exception is the plaintiff lawyer suggesting that hotel employees, including but not limited to housekeepers, should have done something more. This is where we part company.
