Compromising. But how far will the gop go . Candidate republican senator pat roberts fresh off his reelection win on that with me now. Senator, good to have you. Congratulations. Thank you, neil. I appreciate that very much. Right now, what do you make of what the likes of rush and other conservatives are saying dont negotiate, dont blink, do not budge. You say what . I say its up to the president to indicate certainly a lot more than hes indicated today. He seems to think the election well, he seems to think he won the election with the people who didnt vote. And then of all things comes out of the shoot saying basically hes got a pass by execive order. He had another executive order, amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. I think thats just, as our leader said some days ago, thats like waiving a red flag in front of a bull. But there are those of white house think that we can there are a lot of things we can do. We can open up the pipeline. We can repeal the medical device tax. We could get after that Corporate Tax rate. There are a lot of things under the banner of tax reform we can do if we dont repeal obamacare, we can replace it with a lot more market oriented principle, preserve the patient doctor relationsh relationship. This laundry list goes way down the line. Regulatory reform, 2 trillion sitting on the sidelines waiting because people dont know about the next regulation that could actually harm their business plans. So theres a lot of things we could do if, in fact, the president is wanting to do that. I guess what i got to read when talking about Mitch Mcconnell, theres only so much you cant do, even with the pickups you had, youre not at 60 votes and other problems, from Mitch Mcconnell. Well, it would take 60 votes in the senate. No one thinks were going hit 60 republicans. It would take a president ial signature. No one thinks were going to get that. The question is what can you do about it . I would like to put the Senate Democrats in the position of voting on the most unpopular parts of this law and see if we can put it on the president s desk and make him take real ownership. So what hes saying is sort of what you did just now, sir, and that is go ahead and bit by bit shove it in the president s face but not ignore the president as some conservatives or maybe people like Rush Limbaugh advocate. What do you think . Well, i dont know about shoving anything in anybodys face. I dont think you get anything done by doing that. Just place it before them. Go ahead. We can put it on a plate and offer it to him, you you know. But there are so many things we could do, regardless if its president obama. It just makes sense. Like what . What do you think is doable right now . The fig notwithstanding. Thats predictable in any election. Democrats are certainly experiencing their fair share of that. This gets disproportionate attention. Let me ask you about what do you think is doable . Keystone first and foremost, is that doable . Its doable because it has so many ramifications. If we, in fact, export our Energy Products to europe they become less dependent with regards to russia that takes the ace card out of Vladimir Putins deck. It helps to stabilize the world. At the last republican lovein, its been over a year ago, which i was present, he said he would make that decision within three months. Here it is now a year and some. All we have to do, hes got five environmental studies that says there are no drastic environmental impacts at all. So turn on the pipeline. All right. So lets say thats the most likely thing to change on and move on quickly. Youre right, when i heard the president s press conference and Everything Else has been coming out of him, first of all, he does not take my responsibility or claim he had anything to do with the route the democrats experienced and so im thinking that maybe,nd aim and im no psychologist, hes not going to change his posture any time soon. What do republicans do to respond . Wi responding is one thing. In kansas, his Approval Rating is 31 he said weeks before the election that this was a referendum on his policy, his program, his legacy. His name was on the ballot. Thats probably in part why i won so big with 11 . No doubt but hes not changing despite that. He doesnt see anythi connectio because of that. I know. I think what im asking, if thats the case, if hes in another world its very hard for your worlds to mesh, right . It may be very hard but that doesnt mean that we cant try. But im not talking so much about what we should do to please the president. Im talking about shining the spotlight on the 360 bills where the good bills went to die in the senate and working with the house and working with the senate and working with democrats in the senate on the bills that we could pass. And then if the president wish toes just shove them aside he can but i think he does so at our risk. And our risk. Were at a tipping point, we have to start working together, but we can do it with good con z serve tive programs that everyone knows is going to work on behalf of the business community. Farmers and rmpanchers, for instance. Get ahold of the epa and say calm down on some of these things that are foolish. I dont think there are any spectrum of our populous thats been picked on so much than our farmers and ranchers. We may have to take the appropriation bills and take their money away. That may be the only way we really get this done. Sorry to jump on you, sir, but do you sense the next two years are going to be heated and messy or what . It doesnt have to be heated and messy. All we have to do is present good, common sense conservative ideas and principles and issue where we can work and get this country going again. Youre right. Get our country back. We can get rid of a lot of unnecessary regulations. Just common sense things that we can attract quite a few democrats to do and lay them down one by one on the president s desk. Well watch it closely. Senator roberts, again, congratulations. Thanks, neil. Senator pat roberts. Is it hammer time . You heard what the senator had to say. Tom delay on what his party should do now and why he thinks rush is right. Take no prisoners is the order of the day. 8 00 p. M. Fox business network. Meanwhile, two states republican victory is about to trigger some major changes in the United States senate. We always know with the focus on Mitch Mcconnell that the majority leader changes but what about all those committees . Big changes coming there. Who knows them better than the fox news senior capitol hill producer who has been looking through more of the crucial committees. Lets begin with Armed Services. There could be a big turn there. Big turn there. John mccain is expected to become the chairman. A lot of contentious issues, house the military is dealing with isis, possibly an authorization vote sometime in the next couple of months to codify the mission. Also dont forget, neil, that we have military troops in west africa dealing with ebola and that comes through the Armed Services portfolio as well. So john mccain, a lot of focus there. Hes going to be the new chairman of the Armed Services committee. Financial service, thats going to be very important. The Financial Issues that are front and center right now. Finance committee is going to be huge because youre going to have orrin hatch, the new chairman, republican of utah, most senior republican in the senate, now the president pro tem, third in line to the presidency. The reason being is that the republicans have talked for years about trying to do entitlement reform, tax reform, paul ryan the ways and Means Committee in the house of representatives. If they dont get this done with the Republican House and republican senate, then theyre in trouble. The other thing with the finance committee is also dealing with obamacare. There are a lot of policy implications in the finance committee and thats going to fall in orrin hatchs wheelhouse. Lets move on to one of the underrated but crucial committees, appropriations. Yeah, approach operations is going to be big, too, because you heard senator roberts say why not just cut off all the money. That was the path that the republicans went a year ago and the government shut down again over obamacare. They wanted to pull the money from obamacare and thats going to fall within the appropriations realm. Richard shelby of alabama will be the chairman there and that will be dicey if you have certain Republican Forces trying to defund portions of the affordabaffor affordable kaaffor Affordable Care act. Mitch mcconnell said yesterday there will be no shutdown. But if they Start Playing with money that could be a battle royale. Or if democrats are building, republicans will dos that. Shelby is on record saying that last shut down he wasnt for that and was against b the likes offed the cruz and others tush that. Well have to see. The Budget Committee. The Budget Committee is going to be chaired by his fellow alabaman. Jeff sessions. Thats going to be important on obamawe care. Its called reconciliation. Reconciliation is one way that republicans or democrats or whomever is in the majority is a way to get around the 60vote threshold. It takes a supermajority to get a lot of things done in the senate. When it comes to the tax reform, when it comes to entitlement reform, peeling off parts of obamacare or at least republicans from their perspective overturning the entire law theyre not going to get close to 60 regardless of what the majority winds up being but reconciliation has special rule, limited debate, limited amendments and you can do that through budget process. Thats why Jeff Sessions is going to be critical. He ran unopposed. Yes, he did. All right. Thank you very much, chad. You are scary smart, young man. No one dee new orleans wes it better. In the meantime, another controversy the president pushed to and soon were told make millions of illegals, well, stay here permanently. When you play with matches, you take the risk of burning herself. Hes going to burn himself if he continues to go down this path. Ok, whys that . A million bucks oh no. Geico. Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on Car Insurance. The president who still has the capacity to act on his own using his executive authority to solve many of the problems associated with our broken relation systems and president is sdermed to move forward on that before the end of the year. I made clear to the president that if he acts unilaterally on his own, outside of his authority, he will poison the well and there will be no chance for Immigration Reform moving in this congress. Its as simple as that. Well, it looks like the president is still moving forward h with his plan on executive order that were told could delay deportations for millions of illegals already here. Former u. S. Attorney general michael mccasey on that. I dont even want to get into what some have told me is an impeachable offense. Ill leave that for smarter people to debate. Political content. The issue i want to get in to here is how it poisons the well. It would invariably to do that. It certainly doesnt make it easier. If youre trying to be conciliatory and youre trying to work with people, as he said he wants to, then telling them that im going to do what i plan to do before you got here and over what i know to be your wishes and the laws of this country is not the way to do it. On this measure alone, if youre talking about Immigration Reform and you are making very clear to republicans youre still going to executive order, the only way i can see it going to an attorney general is if there was some quid pro quo. More troops to the border. I dont know. Something that would ease some concern that hes addressing at least the border issue. Would that be good enough or is that not good enough . Obviously thats something up to the house and the senate. But i think people have said, republicans have said that if you first fix the border, then we can talk about what the what we do with the people who are already here. Everybody concedes that nobody is going to be in the mood to deport 12 million or 15 million, however many people however many millions there are. Thats noted in cards. Some other arrangement has to be made. But a lot of people dont want it made until the border is secure to prevent more from coming . What i think is going on and youre mores a stult astute in hes almost goeding republicans. Go ahead and do this impeachment talking. You didnt do that, some did. And make fools of yourself. Well, i think that if they went ahead if anybody went ahead with impeachment it would be a foolish thing to do because hes got two years left in his term and it would take an enormous amount of time and effort to make a lot of people very angry and then what do you get at the end . You get joe biden. Thats what a baseball coach of mine aquintance once called a long run for a short slide. Democrats and republicans here think they can find common ground. A move like that would almost make her any mood, any other talk of compromise null and void. Look at two years and nothing . Well, i think you would be looking at two years of bills coming to his desk in a steady par weighed and what, veto, veto, veto . If thats what he wants to be but its going to be held up to a bright light, laws dooley passed by congress enacted that could solve everything from the pipeline to immigration to taxes, all sorts of other issues that are now pending. And if its veto, veto, veto, then do you think americans will get the idea that up until now theyve been deemed and the press and party know few understand the system enough to know they had 380 various measures approved in the house. They went to the senate. They stayed in an inbox on harry re reids desk and didnt get much farther than now. Will americans, do you think, appreciate that process and then say, well, its the president who is blocking this . I think the people of this country are really very astute. They will get that in a heartbeat. Particularly when its happening over and over and again. Its impossible to keep that message from getting through. Attorney general, thank you very much. In the meantime, still playing the race card, even though the race is over, why would this guy just say, is this guy ready to wrangle . Not to be focusing, again, on my moderate my goal was to finally get in shape. To severe chronic plaque psoriasis. So i finally made a decision to talk to my dermatologist about humira. Humira works inside my body to target and help block a specific source of inflammation that contributes to my symptoms. In clinical trials, most adults with moderate to Severe Plaque Psoriasis saw 75 skin clearance on humira. And the majority of people were clear or almost clear in just 4 months. Humira can lower your ability to fight infections, including tuberculosis. Serious, sometimes fatal infections and cancers, including lymphoma, have happened; as have blood, liver, and nervous system problems, serious allergic reactions, and new or worsening heart failure. Before treatment, get tested for tb. Tell your doctor if youve been to areas where certain fungal infections are common, and if youve had tb, hepatitis b, are prone to infections, or have flulike symptoms or sores. Dont start humira if you have an infection. Set a new goal today. Ask your dermatologist about humira. Because with humira clearer skin is possible. Rangel race, the new york democrat Charlie Rangel claiming that some democrats still believe in slavery. Hes not backing down, doubling down. Used to call themselves dixie crats, slave holding states, frustrated with the emancipation proclamation, republicans and then tea party people. And these are the people that are trying to frustrate people from voting, changing the Voting Rights that we fought so hard for. They all come from the south, and they all have these feelings about superiority. And thats true whether you are picking cotton or whether youre president of the United States. Where do you go with that . To real estate developer, friend of the president don peebles who say you dont go anywhere with that and for the party that kind of talk is not helpful. Good to have you back. I always think on the comments like that, whether youre on the right or the left, set both the right and the left in the country back. What do you think . I think Charlie Rangel who is a friend and i supported over the years including his last election just got emotional here. Look, hes right about one thing. When there was during the civil rights movement, those who obstructed the progress of civil rights, they werent republicans, they were democrats. It was George Wallace who stood in front of the university of alabama denying africanamericans to gain access to an education there. It was bull conner who was obstructing civil rights. It was ross bennett, they were democrats. So to classify republicans in the south as being racist on a blanket basis is really just its unproductive and it distracts from the real discussion. The real discussion democrats should be talking about and theyre uncomfortable talking about it right now is this loss of the American Dream for africanamericans. This loss of opportunity. And so instead of talking about what theyve done for the last four years, last eight years, or the last 12 years for africanamericans in terms of providing access to equal access to opportunity, equal access to education, they want to go down memory lane to reproductive rights and now were going all of the way back to 1960s for civil rights. Its off base. Age in an election where we had africanamericans elected in unprecedented fashion in the senate and in the house, we still play this game. Not just Charlie Rangel. Im wonder whether we will still say such africanamericans on the right portrayed as all but uncle toms. When republicans have to take that, simply having minorities in their ranks, as token, token minorities, how does that help democrats . Well, look, i dont think first of all, it doesnt help democrats. And i think the Democratic Party and democrats around the country should get the message loud and clear, that their message is not resonating with africanamericans. That is why they lost many of these elections. That is why they lost the govern governors seat in the state of maryland. Im sorry. They come back at you, don, and say, well, with africanamericans it resonates because 94 , 95 of them still vote with democrats. You say that could slip away as well. Explain. By the way, the reality is its 90 plus percent that showed up and voted. Most did not show up and vote because theyre not engaged because it dont feel that those who they have a choice to vote for are going to serve their interest and change their life in terms of giving access to opportunity. The reality is that sounds like democrats are taking them for granted. They are, and have been for quite some time. The reality is that its a presumption, by the way, its the only ethnic group in this country that is taken for granted in terms of one party. You know, hispanicamericans are multiparty, you know, jewishamerican, ish riscish. When it comes to africanamericans the party does so little for us and they expect so much. Its about time they started earning our support and i think the message needs to be heard loud and clear, that africanamericans are disappointed, that with the direction that the nation is taking them in terms of opportunities. You know, the American Dream for most africanamericans is essentially inaccessible right now. And that is a real problem. And thats a national problem. We need to get beyond these partisan politics here and talk about, you know, what we need to do to move the country forward. As i said before, neil, it was Richard Nixon, of all people, Richard Nixon in 1970 created the first office of minority business in the federal government. He wasnt a racist if he was promoting africanamericans. Very good point. But you know the president better than i do. I get a sense the comments he has made since the midterms and in that press conference yesterday that he doesnt think hes the problem or his programs or economy, the couplery is the problem, that its almost anybody, everybody else. Now, look, i dont think its a right left issues. They say that he is divorced from this. Some say divorced from reality. Which do you think . Do you think he just says, an inability to take responsibility, to take blame . What . Well, i think, first of all, that, one, lets be clear. I cant i know that the president and the president that i know and i support does not think the way what we heard in terms of congressman rangels view. Im not talking about that. Its the same president don, this is the same president , elections have consequences when he won. There are no big deal when he or his party dont win. Thats kind of weird. Well, i think hes going to look, a new reality is setting in and its going to take a little bit of time for reality to set in for all the Democratic Party. In fact, the fact is now that there is going to have to be comp my miplmy mice or theres g be complete gridlock. Give me one area where you think he will compromise. I think the president will look to if i were to look into a crystal ball and see where he will compromise, i think that there will be compromise on immigratimmigrat reform. I think this will be compromise on the tax structure. You mentioned Immigration Reform. If he goes ahead with making millions of illegals staves off on their deportations, thats not going to move that bill forward, right . No, and i think ultimately that there will be a much more engagement. You know, if the president has tried to engage those on the right for some time and if i were him i would be a bit frustrated. Now theres an absolute necessity to get anything done without without tremendous battle, a line drawn. Theres going to need to be compromise. Thats what the nation has said, we want to go in a different direction right now. Hopefully everybody is hearing that. Its not just republicans that are saying it. The Democratic Party had they gotten their base out they wouldle have won many more of these seats. The base is bummed, that seems to be the case. Don peebles, thank you very much. An element of reason in fury times on both sides. Thank you, my friend. In the mean why, the balance of power may have turned but is this about to turn as well . Forget this rally for stocks because the gop takeover actually mean game over for stocks . And for shoppers about to get sucked in on thanksgiving, why rachel wants to talk turkey with you. Have you been waiting for the perfect time to invest in silver . Wait no longer. Silver is now on sale. With silver prices dropping lower than its all in production cost, now silver may have hit rock bottom. Dont miss the opportunity to buy low and sell high. All right. Another day of more records. Dow and s p 500 closing at an alltime high. Its just days a fr the gops big win and running up ahead of all of that. But what if i told you this might be short lived . Monica, the argument is the markets are getting ahead of themselves, that in environment which history proves is a great time for stocks wont be a great time this go around. What do you make of it . If its going to be a great time its going to be a great time short term. Maybe it will last longer than a kardashian wedding but thats it. Still, you have the fundamental problems that weve had before. Geopolitical risk, commodity war going on with toil prices. The gop can help with focus on energy. Theres a lot of reasons to believe the economy is not as strong as the stock market would make you think. I know kardashian weddings dont last long but kardashian career shockingly do. I think the marketplace has demonstrated prior to these elections that what i think they thought was going to happen. And so youve seen a market run from, say, 16. 5, talk about the dow jones, to 17. 5 quickly. Monica is right in the sense that it doesnt eliminate all the problems in the infrastructure in this economy. Nor does it eliminate i know they like gridlock, markets. But this is a time when gridlock might not be helpful when it comes to debt issues, you know, business taxing issues, that kind of thing. Keystone pipeline has been locked up for so long. In is another place are the gop can help. I think well get that done. Tinge president will sign that. Thats the only bone theyve got. Absolutely because we need jobs. Everyone knows. Beyond that. Some say, neil, that wont happen. What do you think beyond keystone . Beyond keystone in terms of what the markets face, i think are, you know, you certainly have geopolitical tension. You talked a little bit about that before. That still exists. That needs to be fixed and there needs to be an argument. Would it be any different with republicans who control the senate . Well, i actually think that, you know, theyre going to what lean toward conservative view points and i do believe that the. Environment will lean toward fix that problem. No doubt. Monica, my worry is it gets to the president s desk and he just doesnt sign on, hopes to make it more business friendly. Dont we have a better chance at something actually getting done with if all the legislative branches together . Theyre more business friendly, with we need jobs, we need a better economy. You cant stop the president but at least we have more forces on one side to get the economy coming. The buck stops with him and they dont have veto profit majorities. That worries me. Im not saying that as a republican or democrat. If wall street is looking forward to getting something done to their favor, and its blocked, in veto approved majority, forget it. Listen, the republicans now have a big opportunity here that i think is pressing and theyre in the spotlight. The opportunity is there. They, i believe, more than before are going to be very aggressive at making sure that an agenda gets pushed forward. They have the opportunity to defy the idea that the president of the no, be the party of the yes and get things done, make another party the party of no. That labels it business harry reid stopped everything that came to the house. They may might trdrop the partyf no. Thank you very much. So much for black friday. Retailers ramping up the thanksgiving day sales. But if we all doing that, are we the ones looking like turkeys . How much money do you have in your pocket right now . I have 40, 21. Could something that small make an impact on something as big as your retirement . I dont think so. Well if you start putting that towards your retirement every week and let it grow over time, for twenty to thirty years, that retirement challenge might not seem so big after all. Jcpenney is hoping you will take that turkey to go. Theyre opening at 5 00 p. M. On thanksgiving day. Three hours earlier than last year. If youre trying to spend less this year, Financial Planner rachel cruz says you got to learn to resist this sort of stuff. Easier said than done. What do they do . It can be hard but the first thing you want to do to save money especially is to be on a plan. So know who youre shopping for, know how much money you want to spend. If you dont have the money stay out of the stores. Just because there are sales going on doesnt mean its going to be a great deal for you. Look online. Shop around. Look at different sites and see where can you get the best deal when you have the budget. I guess it depends if you like the family youre with or the inlaws or if you want to go shopping. I always feel that this rush for people to go out there and buy stuff, obviously retailers are getting ready for that because theyve hired a lot of extra temporary help for what they think will be booming holidays. How do you advise people when it comes to just buying stuff, buy what you need, look for sales, what . Yeah, i think the first thing is to do a budget. And this is key. Know how much money youre wanting to spend. Once you get in there, yeah, youre going to see stuff. Mom will love this, brother would love this, i would love this. Its amazing how many people buy stuff for themselves when they go shopping. Make that budget. We have a great tool on mychristm mychristmasbudget. Com. Put the names of everybody you want to spend money on, how much you want to spend on them and it keeps you on track. Pay with cash. You would know im going to say this. Stay away from the credit cards. When you spend your money you spend less. You left out processed meats and cheeses. Nothing says love at the holidays than the cheese log. Anyway, outsider tapped into a retirement questions. Tweet them at team cavuto and who better than rachel to address them. This week we have mary ann asking, who can retire . People are living longer and theyre healthier. Life is more expensive. Who can stay home and do nothing . She sounds like shes upbeat and toetapping optimist. What do you say . Simple retirement is going to look different for everyone. Some people are going to retire. Maybe they want to sit at home and do nothing. I dont know. Some people want to start a business or vacation. The issue here is i want you to have options. Thats the big deal. So for younger people, this is the lesson, the earlier you start investing in retirement the better off you will be, the more options you will have. That means what . That means getting your finances in order. Start living on a budget. Be intentional. Get out of doubt so your income is freed up to be able to retire. Once youre debt free you have an Emergency Fund in place. Invest 15 of income into retirement. The earlier you start the better off youre going to be. Compound interest is your friend. All right. It sounds like in this womans case shes already close to that so its too late for her. Shes going to have a horrible christmas. Rachel, thank you very much. Thank you very much. Good having you. Thank you, neil. Thanks for having me on. All right. Well, you know by now he is finally free. And now the marine stuck in a mexican jail telling greta stuff that will just shock you. Bring your gift to any sleep train, and help keep the spirit of the holidays alive. Not everyone can be a foster parent, but anyone can help a foster child. All right. That marine stuck in a mexican jail is out and hes talking. Sergeant andrew is speaking with our own greta. They felt in their hearts i wasnt guilty. They wanted to keep me there. Why . Why . You know, just their reasons. They want to look a certain way. They dont want to do whats the right thing to do, i guess, because maybe theyre afraid of something happening, you know, something that they dont want to happen happen. Instead of doing the right thing, its, you know, just something something that politics, politics maybe . I dont know why. Wow. Thats a tease, greta. What was he saying . You know, theres so much of it that you have to read into it, neil, because he is very fragile, hes very hesitant to say anything bad about anyone. But what he talks about in the interview is how he was mocked, humiliated, beaten, terrified, solitary, tied down in this prison. It was just terrible. Here youve got a guy who is has ptsd, he says hes paranoid. He drives out to the va hospital to get help. Two days later he goes into mexico and ends there for 214 days. Imagine putting someone with ptsd, paranoid in a cell with people talking about him in a language that he doesnt understand, just hears his last name in their language and mock him and humiliate him. He hinted that even authorities there thought he was innocent, which raises a lot of questions, im sure you got into. Why the hell was he there so long . You no, thats a good question. Thats whats so enraged all of us at. Curt . Curt on the record. They didnt charge him with trying to smuggle guns in or sell guns but simple possession. So right at the very beginning they knew that this was not a more serious case. And they also knew it was an accidental turn because Everybody Knows that intersection of where you go into mexico so they knew it. Our u. S. Government, did they do anything . Not much. And we deport people back to mexico every day for crimes. Why couldnt we deport one guy back to the u. S. Who did two tours in afghanistan and was extremely troubled . He has ptsd. Very fragile. Its so mean to hold this guy in i isolation for 214 days. Another thing to note, he was released because he has ptsd. Thats what the mexicans decided. It took them 214 days to determine that . You listen to 30second sound bite and you know hes got troubles. You dont need 214 days. And u. S. Government knew from his va signin a couple days before he went to mexico that he had trouble. So i dont know why it took mexico 214 days to figure out he has ptsd and thats why he was released. Our government had no clue and 15 seconds and we know. Is he bitter . Did you get a sense that hes better at our government . No, because hes way too fragile. We cant get to the point of being mad. He doesnt get to that level. It takes some degree of strength to have anger. I mean, i have some anger. Like where was everybody . Absolutely. But he does not at all. Hes really you get the sense hes just trying to hang on right now, trying to figure out each day, each hour, actually. I look forward to it, greta. This one is amazing because of this young that sergeant is home. That sergeant is home, in the interview that everybody is waiting for is about two hours away. Greta, thank you very much. And in the meantime, to all the democrats who never returned our calls, how is it going packing those boxes . 24 7 its just im a lile reluctant to try new things. Whats wrong with trying new things . Feel that in your muscles . Yeah. I do. Try a new way to bank, where no branches equals great rates. Now that republicans have some power, what should they do with it . We have a list of things to suggest. Also Bernie Goldberg on the list of crazy things said on Election Night and whether or not obama will legalize some undocumented people. You rip some guys bumper off. So, here are your choices take the bus. Or get Liberty Mutual insurance. For drivers with accident forgiveness, Liberty Mutual wont raise your rates due to your first accident. See Car Insurance in a whole new light. Call Liberty Mutual insurance. Finally, i want to take this moment to talk to all of those democrats who decline coming on fox, who all but called us the fword, but who now are the ones that are effed. Is it me or the ones who blew us off, packing up . The ones who ignored the calls to come on, the ones that are on the way out. Look, everyone has the right to decline us. But they might want to think twice about the wisdom of ignoring us. Look at yourself, for one thing, we dont bite, and if we do, we tend to be feral. Listen, listen, listen, let me have one no, no, youre being silly, where was your rage when democrats were going after president bush on the same use of executive orders because i think you knew then it was a waste of time and i think you know now in your heart of hearts this is a waste of time. There are far more points you guys are addressing i think she was a republican, not under this administration, the bush administration. The federal government has to stabilize this economy. No, it doesnt, ben, and by the way the government needs to step in, with the treasury to make sure there is a floor under falling real estate values, particularly residential why does why does the government need to do it . However hellish it might be, if the house rejects it, let it rip. My point is this, this ignoring us is pointless, do i really look that mean or are you just that blind . How many times have i said were not red, were just focused on helping you with money. Now most politicians can take the heat, and they can think for themselves. No party tells them where to go. These are republicans and democrats who often tell their parties where to go, the Congressional Black Caucus head rahm emanuel who just won 52 of the vote, or hoyer, or james clyburne, pretty comfortable in their convictions and pretty comfortable coming here to express them. I am sure that democratic operatives sold them they would get nothing out of it. But silly me, to a man or woman, they all seem to do pretty well, at least with me, fair and balanced. Theyre always happy to come on and state their case with me. Not a one of them suffered for it at home. Not the congressman democrat who just won with 73 of the vote, or chris van holland, who want with 60 of the vote. Even those never seem to have a problem. Pennsylvania democratic senator bob casey, and joe manchin. Reminding them that maybe fox is not the problem, maybe those who foolishly follow party orders are not. Take it from me, who talked to the stars who did not have a problem talking to me. Dick durbin, now, im sure some said why bother . But they bothered. Just like a democrat who ran for president did. Oh yeah, and a democrat who was president did. And another democrat, it was the first africanamerican governor who paved the way for this president , always does. These are smart guys. Eager for the give and take. And in the case of former Democratic New Mexico governor bill richardson, all the more happy to get it back. It doesnt look good for you know, bill clinton, Hillary Clinton who campaigned hard for a lot of democrats. Do you guys like each other now, bygones . Everything okay . Well, no, he doesnt like me and you know i think the feeling is kind of mutual. But i admire what the two clintons are doing. Theyre campaigning for democrats. All right, so maybe now is the time to pay less attention to what Party Operatives say and more attention to what you want to say. Because look around. We are still here. And well, youre not. Hello, everybody, im kimberly guilfoyle, it is 5 00 in new york city and this is the five. Before the election, president obama said this. Im not on the ballot this fall. But make no mistake, these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them. And on tuesday, the people spoke. They dont want his policies. The electoral map is now very, very red. The president says, he is listening. To everyone who voted, i want you to know that i
